Yes, but car advice is one of more biased reviewers towards the manufacturers. So I watch them for the car features not listening to their own opinions.
@@EastWood2004 that's how most car reviewers make their money. If they keep bagging the crap out of cars do you think anyone would let them review their products? Just take on the honest parts and don't worry about the bullshit. At the end of the day no ones going to buy a car based on these reviews. It's all about the test drive and the personal experience.
Why should wagons be boring? They do look better than sedans imo.. and are more practical. But all the „everyday cars“ are rather boring, sedans and wagons
I felt exactly the same when I drove the RS5 couple. Super comfortable and refined in comfort. Put the car in dynamic and the rear end comes out and the car is a beast. Audi got these new RS cars perfect. If you want a tune, coils and springs go ahead and you can make these into 600hp cars and stiffer for a few grand
its $112,000aud before you add 10% gst , 5% tariffs , luxury car tax 33% = $153,000 + orc with 3% stamp duty $165,000 aud / Government racks in $53,000 profit , not the Dealership owner
A tt v6 in the rs4 is fine, after all they started out that way, but the problem is here it’s an off the shelf motor out of a base model panamera/cayenne, and no longer a bespoke RS engine. this isn’t just downsizing for global warming, or cooling, or whatever they’re calling it now, this is simply cost cutting.... in a 180k a4
no idea what you're on about bloke, do you mean the 33% lct? if so, every competitor to the rs4 is hit with the same lct, but bmw and mercedes are still able to build their C63/M3/4 with a bespoke 6 and 8 for the same money
Why so much hate for wagons?? I don't know why anyone would buy a saloon if there's a wagon variant. Ultimate sleepers- same performance and handling as their saloon siblings, similar looks (often better) but, with far more practicality...and the added bonus of being able to park in loading zones! It shouldn't take an RS4 to prove that wagons aren't "boring" cars, they're just the smarter option!
Really? Sedans are the most impractical style of vehicle. Wagons and lift backs are practical and do the sporty thing as well. Best of both worlds. For me sedans are a thing of the past
Sorry, the whole point of the RS and M cars is that you’re getting something special... I can get a v6 in a Toyota Camry... v6 in my Honda Accord. What they’re doing now is putting all the focus on looks and carbon plastic bits - coachwork.
Great review. My take it that the Venn diagram of people that want an estate for moving furniture and a track car must be tiny. Most these will just be driven by twats driving up your arse on dual carriageways.
Greg Mieg Navarro Blue probably, but Misano Red as a standby. Grey is boring and lacks any character. The RS4 is an exciting sporting car. Why mask it with drab and anonymous undercoat grey and leave it looking unfinished?
@@berniesutton7277 if you do your homework you will find out that Vw has also cheated with their petrol engines, so they cheated with diesel, petrol and gearboxes. Very "premium" ahum. I'll be ashamed to drive a Vag car.
Kien Fung so, as you say, ‘HAS’ not is. Have you researched cheating by Mercedes and others or are you only interested in cheating by VAG and riding the popular hobby horse. Scruples or popularity?
Michael Aleksovski he’s probably just sick and tired of hearing “it doesn’t sound as good as a v8”. We all know that, why does everyone have to keep repeating it? V8’s are going out the back door thanks to climate change and emissions restrictions. Get used to it, accept the inevitable and move on. Or run for parliament in the EC and change the laws

danI43541 personally I am starting to think the trunk part of sedans are getting kinda old and a waste of space in 2018
Top review! Good personality balanced with facts. Love the channel, please keep posting
Pozdrav Nikolicu ! 😊 dobar video, svaka cast

Rs4 is a bit pricey in oz and devalues hard.

Im looking for a demo RS4 in 3 years time, hopefully I can snap one around 120k-150k.
@@eddiexiang3606 2013 model you can pick up for $70000 Aud bro
Cross the ditch in new Zealand its 149,900nzd brand new

Australian Government are thieves!!!
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
Pure joke
This was a great review. I liked the explanation of extras and cost.
Good review.
Finally someone who doesnt flame the new v6 in the rs models
looks good.
Trent how does it go on our coarse bitumen highways, what’s the nvh like
"The engine is a masterpiece" so how come Alfa Romeo (Ferrari} gets 44Kw more from the same size V6 and it still sounds "tough"
The exhaust noise on the Audi Rs4 and Rs5 is close to non existent compared to the other Rs models and past V8 models
The way of the future unfortunately. Germany has very strict emission laws.

51% tax on the car lefty

@sam cas lct 33% + 10% gst , 5% tariffs , 3% stamp duty aswell . The rs4 without taxes is $112,000aud
You said it was $180,000 drive away , it's $165,000 aud drive away
If I didn’t buy my S4 I’d definitely buy this, but it not worth spending twice the money to upgrade now and not getting that much power difference.
The LCT makes this car less attractive not to mention LCT may be removed soon.
and - tariffs 5% this would cost $122,000aud

Turbo blows the engine gaskets at 80k mls... they haven’t even engineered the the motor properly for turbos, that’s how special it is
Too tired to keep looking at these cool cars 😐
25fps? Are you serious?
Why Audi didn't make the sedan version of their RS line
RS3 Sedan/ RS7 and RS5 sportback. Planety 4 doors.
@@TheEryk03 yeah I forgot about those car but I still think Audi should make the sedan version of their RS4 n RS6

The best in the class.
TheEryk03 well it’s not that hard when the class only has 2 models. C63 and this...

not even close to the original , classic Inline 5 and co-designed by Porsche?
What?
No V8?
Stuff that, they can keep it!
Not that i can afford one. Lol
150.... Thousand?? Whaat??!! Next video...
51% tax on the car , $112000aud before taxes
Why so angry at the old V8? Hilarious dude.
Tesla model s P100d is $234,000
There is nothing cool about undercoat grey

The V6 sounds great.
Not in real life it does, extremely lifeless.
