Todd Cantley It definitely can be hard! To be fair, it was quite a few years ago when the three of them were all working at Evo. Jethro and Henry only left fairly recently though when they went to Drivetribe.
@@YourGodsIcon That point is not really solid. UA-cam has a shit ton of competition. It's staying a head of the curve ONLY because of its users - you take away that and it is absolutely nothing. Streaming videos is not really a revolutionary technology.
Just like car companies stay in business only because of their customers, every company needs customers, users or guests. UA-cam's revenue is over 100 billion dollars anually, I'm sure UA-cam would flourish just fine if only available in the U.S. But it would be stupid to keep it only to themselves, so they share it with the world.
I watch a fair amount of reviews but you guys are in the different league ! Sound, video, 3 garage story, etc.. is just spot on .Well done Mr Catchpole
I agree. I would have taken the RS4 Avant in green over my current BMW. Damn it's a good looking car. I know a lot of people who would like a performance "wagon" here in The States. Why doesn't Audi pull the trigger on it and make us happy customers?
These reviews are just next level! Great production! In my opinion, the RS4 gives the A4 the presence it should have as standard, the base model seems a little bleak and meager... Answering your question, I'd have an RS4 in my dream garage, who agrees?
Bill I love the RS6 to bits, but I think in the real world it might be a tad too big/wide (depends on where you live). Also, the RS6 is now an aging platform, soon to be replaced
They are great productions but it's worth pointing out that these videos aren't really reviews with a lot of factual information but emotional videos that show the cars in their best light. I'm not complaining but an actual review would draw more comparisons and cite a few stats like price compared to competitors, fuel consumption etc. So to me this is a little bit close to an adverterial but again, really well done production.
The quality of the videos from this channel are just top class. And Henry Catchpole is calm, professional and informative which is what you really want. Other channels can really learn a lot from these guys.
Jackson Blitzkreg this whole generation of Audis is pretty disappointing, except the rs3. But that's why I specified "at the moment". The previous gen rs6 is one of my favorites, totally agreed.
I appreciate watching a 5 minute review video that actually looks like it took more than just 5 minutes to shoot and 10 minutes to edit. Really enjoyed this. Thanks! I love my cheap, little, S3. Subscribed.
Henry's reviews really are a wonderful place for those of us not interested in much of the de-evolution of on screen motoring journalism. No definitive guide to arsing about in cars, just wonderful cinematography, thoughtful narration and beautiful locations. Bravo.
These new Audi RS V6s are some of the best sounding V6s to come out for awhile in my book! And I ADORE the colors...Nardo Gray and Sonoma Green. Love it.
I know the comment section of your videos is always full of this but just want to say the production quality of these videos is off the charts, especially by UA-cam standards but by any standards really, and it makes for such pleasant watching. So much so that I sometimes have to watch them twice because the first time I forget to listen properly to what is being said because I'm enjoying the amazing shots which feels almost criminal because the storytelling is just as good. Very very quickly becoming my favourite car channel, thanks guys!
The cinematography was brilliantly blended with the dialogue which matched the personality of the RS4. Henry just knows how to portray the car perfectly to his readers
Excellent perspective, Catchpole! I think most car enthusiasts watch videos to see the skiddies, which makes the AMGs and M's much more appealing, but when it comes down to it, 9 out of 10 buyers of cars in this segment aren't gonna be drifting around every corner and laying down burnouts at the local cars & coffee meet. That drive 8/10ths max and occasionally stretch the car's legs up to the triple digits. Audi RS cars look the part and play the part superbly!
It really is the perfectly balanced vehicle. I have an S4 and it is such a great balance of sportiness and comfort. Great for commutes, backroads, road trips, and trips to the store. The last gen sounds better though without the turbos filtering out some of the exhuast note.
555 Thank the government for that. You can get an A4, and a shop in Texas can build you an Americanised RS-avant replica... about 40% more expensive if imported.
Another excellent video guys! I really hope you're working on a format for TV... We're ready for it! Always loved your written work for Evo Magazine Henry and you're a natural in front of the camera too. Your driving skills and passion for cars are so apparent and a joy to watch. 3rd car in the dream garage sorted too!
He is bang on with that 3rd car dream garage theory. This perfect for taking the in laws to church on Sunday. I can imagine smiling while they are in the back clinging on for their life.
Well done video. I sure wish they made these in the US. I've had my 2011 A4 Avant for 5 years and have modified it but I'm eager for more power from the R model and refinement of the interior.
@Henry Catchpole @Carfection Did you drive one without the dynamic steering? Still worried that won't be all that (being Audi) and therefore, not perfect. Oh, and while at it, if you can try one in the UK with 19" forged oem wheels, that should make it better too on real imperfect roads...
Great review as always Henry. Really considering moving up to a RS4 from my RS3. Would not have Nardo Grey and Aluminium. Would be Nogaro and Black Pack.
this guy and chris harris are my favourite motor journalists
Yes, they are for me too !
And that Jethro dude. Those three would make a brilliant next topgear team
Todd Cantley They were together. It was called Evo.
Ah okay. It's hard to keep up. UA-cam seems to be the same 4-5 car journalists swapping between channels.
Todd Cantley It definitely can be hard! To be fair, it was quite a few years ago when the three of them were all working at Evo. Jethro and Henry only left fairly recently though when they went to Drivetribe.
Henry is making Carfection great again!!
He's seriously one of the best auto journalists in the business, still miss his written stuff in Evo.
the bald guy is still my fav
I miss baldex
I love catchpole tho
cinematography on point!!
You know this is a good car because you can't buy it in the US.
They should offer it in the U.S. just like the U.S. offers you UA-cam. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!
@@YourGodsIcon you do realize that the users make youtube. Not the other way around.
Yes, because the opportunity is offered to them.

You nailed it with the 3 car garage example.
I watch a fair amount of reviews but you guys are in the different league ! Sound, video, 3 garage story, etc.. is just spot on .Well done Mr Catchpole
jez zza no. Doug de muro is the king of the hill of reviews
Doug de muro is also great and enjoy his reviews (a bit too long though)
Binimwlan he s just an idiot and probably even don t know how to drive a car properly...
How about rosenthal? I think they are the best
Still wish we were getting this in the US. We just don't get fun wagons anymore
Jason Stutes The only wagon that I remember that we get is the E class. And even then, they aren’t that common.
Jason Stutes good nobody wants an ugly station wagon
black fish Sadly. That is pretty much the reason why we don’t get them anymore.
black fish If you think that wagon is ugly you need a new pair of eyes.
I agree. I would have taken the RS4 Avant in green over my current BMW. Damn it's a good looking car. I know a lot of people who would like a performance "wagon" here in The States. Why doesn't Audi pull the trigger on it and make us happy customers?

Philipp Klein Herrero I do, but I really like the RS6, too.

9000Redline Good points!
I sure wouldn’t say no!
I so wanted henry catchpole to be a part of carfection his vocal skills makes the review to go on a differential level
The quality of the videos from this channel are just top class. And Henry Catchpole is calm, professional and informative which is what you really want. Other channels can really learn a lot from these guys.
Not even 20 seconds in and the quality of the video and editing has made me fall in love! Its insane!!! Great work guys!
The production of these videos is so great, it really engrosses one inside the video, hats off
One of the best looking Audi's at the moment IMO
untitled795 previous gen rs6 & rs7 look way better
Jackson Blitzkreg this whole generation of Audis is pretty disappointing, except the rs3. But that's why I specified "at the moment". The previous gen rs6 is one of my favorites, totally agreed.
untitled795 I think it's sad the best looking Audi is a wagon....
Toyota4Life very true, the TT RS is really pretty tho
Yes lt is
WOW stunnig video, just wished it was longer
Carfection is becoming Petrolicious for modern cars. Thank you Mr. Catchpole!
Another brilliant video review that was on key and informative without the frills. More please.
Henry Catchpole completely transformed this channel giving tons of quality to it. Please don't stop this
i love the camera on the hood (bonnet) looking into the windshield. It looks like a movie or something with a much higher budget.
I appreciate watching a 5 minute review video that actually looks like it took more than just 5 minutes to shoot and 10 minutes to edit.
Really enjoyed this. Thanks!

Subscribed.

He does it again. Possibly my favourite presenter at the moment. Very well put together
Watching his reviews is like savoring a good scotch. This is as polished as car reviews get. Thanks Henry.
These new Audi RS V6s are some of the best sounding V6s to come out for awhile in my book!
And I ADORE the colors...Nardo Gray and Sonoma Green. Love it.
M C they are not bad but alfa sounds better or F-type v6
I know the comment section of your videos is always full of this but just want to say the production quality of these videos is off the charts, especially by UA-cam standards but by any standards really, and it makes for such pleasant watching. Very very quickly becoming my favourite car channel, thanks guys!
The nighttime cinematography on this review is off the charts. Fantastic work, and Henry has really grown as a presenter.
hands down... Henry + carfection = next level car review! I wish you guys all the best! and this Audi is lovely as well!
well if you want to hear my 3 ultimate dream cars in my garage?
1- Koenigsegg 1:One
2- Porsche 997.2 GT3RS4.0
3- Porsche Panamera Turbo S (GT)
elsa3dany1 Where's your off-road SUV?
Not bad but for me it would be
1) charger Hellcat (which I've got)
2) Porsche 991.2 GT3
3) Ram 1500 Limited
1. S65 amg (2018)
2. Rs4 (2017)
3. M140i shadow edition (2018)
Carfection sorry classics and the northern Canadian winters don't mix
1. Porsche 991.2 GTS
2. new Mercedes G Class
3. Alfa Junior GT
;)
Altough a really practical car would be missing
I don't really have OCD but the fact that it doesn't have 444 pounds foot of torque really annoys me.
well it is german and therefore has 600Nm, which happens to be 442 lbft
The cinematography was brilliantly blended with the dialogue which matched the personality of the RS4. Henry just knows how to portray the car perfectly to his readers

Fantastic video. Thank you. I own an Audi A4 Avant S Line SE, and this will be my next car. Great for the dog!
This was amazing. The style and the angles - perfect. Not just a review, but art. Please do more of this!
i love the editing done to show the dual personality of the car. and Henry just makes reviews very interesting and entertaining to watch.
The front end is downright gorgeous
Wow the first 2 and half minutes of this video was like a professional advert for Audi. Great video.
It really is the perfectly balanced vehicle. I have an S4 and it is such a great balance of sportiness and comfort. Great for commutes, backroads, road trips, and trips to the store. The last gen sounds better though without the turbos filtering out some of the exhuast note.
I thought Carfection was dead without Alex but sir, you proved me wrong! Great review, lovely cinematography.
I’m more of a Volvo person myself and not really much of an Audi lover, but I cannot deny the fast Avants. They are quite good looking too..!
One of the best car reviews I've seen in a long time! Gorgeous!
There is nothing better than your videos, next level stuff.
Wow, I never thought I'd ever see an engine resembling the B5 2.7TT for the current generation. I'm beyond happy knowing this exists.
Audi nailed it with the RS4 and you guys nailed it with this video. Well done!
Hey Henry, would you still have this in your 3 car garage? Or has the 2020 RS6 taken it's place?
I love this car but honestly I adore the b7 2006-09 rs4 and its howling v8!
MrJaffacakesGTI they peaked with that one. Like BMW peaked with the E39 and E46 M cars.
You and cars with luke have some fantastic production quality. Really great to watch.
This is definitely the best car review I have ever seen.Spot on & very informative.
Rs6 for life nothing more, V8 for life)
v6s are great brah
alexander1485 nah
i own an older S4 and it may not have the horsepower this one has but my god does the description match. love this review!!!
What a review! Best one yet. Ordered it in palais blue. Can't wait..
Really sad i cant get it here in the US
555
Thank the government for that. You can get an A4, and a shop in Texas can build you an Americanised RS-avant replica... about 40% more expensive if imported.
PLEASE GOD get Audi to sell the RS4 in the U.S.!!!!!!.....WHY AUDI?!?!....WHY?!?!?
Robert Goldsworthy cause we have terrible taste. It's sad
fikes73 i agree. I would absolutely LOVE to have this car. I have a thing for german performance hatchbacks.
Another excellent video guys! I really hope you're working on a format for TV... We're ready for it! This is the Haudi RS4....... @0.22
I’ll take this in my two car garage along with my Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison. Save the third spot for a nice motorcycle and my bicycles ;-)
Thank you Audi (and Mercedes) for keeping the fast estate going in an age of SUVs, why cant BMW and Jaguar? Excellent review as usual from Henry.
You gave me an extra reason why I'm getting this car.The colour, I'm still not decided yet
Awesome video. Kudos to the team! It takes alot of time and effort to make a video this good and I appreciate that. Thank you.
Audi needs to bring this vehicle to the US.
Congrats Henry you are the best - great review and awesomely filmed
So well edited! Your videos are magnificent and share passion
Why they don't make the sedan rs4 any more
The RS5 replaces the Sedan RS4.
Henry keep up the good work!!!
Such an amazing review! Cheers from Barcelona!!
Amazing review and cinematography. I loved the parts shot at night
Henry’s videos can make a Citroën 2 CV look cool ! You should do it for sport relief, just for a laugh.
Superb review, the cinematography is epic. I think this is a handsome car, probably all the car you could ever need.
I really really wish this was available in the US.
Love it.
Jamaican Me Crazy TOYOYA mark X in your pic ?
1: Mk8 Fiesta ST-3, Black, with the lsd
2: One of these in Red, black pack, lightweight alloys
3: Ariel Nomad, if I could, get it in a dark purple
I love the style and dynamics of RS4
Really well put toghether, fantastic job
Professional review & classy production.
Great video! Definitely a car I want in my dream garage
Does anyone kown the background music?
This is not available here in Canada therefore I ordered the RS5. Nice review.
Great video. Wicked production.
Well done video. I sure wish they made these in the US. I've had my 2011 A4 Avant for 5 years and have modified it but I'm eager for more power from the R model and refinement of the interior.

Wicked video! The production level just gets more sublime with each passing video.
Can I expect to see a video for the Kia Stinger? 😉
Hollywood level review . Best
Can’t decide what’s better: the car or the production quality 🤔 I guess top marks for both!
Great review as always Henry. Really considering moving up to a RS4 from my RS3. Would not have Nardo Grey and Aluminium. Would be Nogaro and Black Pack.
In which Spanish village did you film it?
Which one would age better? Looks wise
agreed...perfect
The best review I have ever seen. Amazing.
Cracking good review chaps.
Great video! Wish we could get fast rs4 avants here in the US
Lovely film.. good man Henry.. well done.
And yes, of course I would have one.. in the Green please. That'll do nicely.
WF
I'm waiting for the new RS7. This one is a bit too practical. Btw great filming. Is that Malaga, Spain?
Wow, great production
Great episode. Well done!
Does it have smoked headlights from the factory??
Superb as always
Where was this filmed man pls tell me
Great cinematics!
We need these in North America 😍
perfect car, useful in every point of view....
