  • We hit up Whiting farms again on the look-out for some products and colors of things we don't have. And we didn't come for dry fly hackle... (which you can find here: store.flyfishf...)

Gee's this is just so kool, the start of the video, No King Chicken, and then at the end, in his natural environment the Chicken Coop. Doing very valuable work. And not just for Hackle but for Poultry in general.

I also love the good Doc's commentary, esp. regarding the survivability of partridge!

The first Whiting Farms product I ever purchased was a Brahma Cape. Love it!

Watching a fish take a dry fly off the surface is nice - but in the course of a day wet hackles will catch way more fish for me!

My kid was a chicken tonight for Halloween lol. How appropriate. Chopped up turkey flats adhered to a boa come from Whiting right? haha

Note: those boas are destined to be feathered gamechanger tails FYI

Great info, but terrible video. Not enough depth of field to keep focus.

Very interesting but the camera work is terrible shaking all over the place plus in and out of focus . You guys are doing this long enough now that this should not be happening ????

Ouch! We're trying out some new gear that works better in low light in those barns. Guess we screwed it up already. 😬 Thanks for the support and positive vibes tho.
