Hey everyone! This is part two of our three-part series "Kyuquot, The Fish Metropolis"! The fishing was almost too fast for this segment because we literally got our fishing done in ten minutes, which actually made filming difficult. ;) Enjoy! Part three will be available next Thursday.
How long have I subscribed to your channel...I dunno but it’s been a long time! Love your videos! So happy to see your thousands of subscribers! It’s a great success, and I hope to see hundreds more of your fishing vids. Some of the best and most informative angling shows I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching have been on your channel. True story.
pretty light looking, arent' they? I know every location is different but i've watched them use similar rods for halibut and there's no way you could do that up here.

Congratulations beautiful Fisherman *Fishing!* 👍🎣🐠🐠🐠
LOve your videos Rod and Kitty! I have to say though, I am very surprised that you only have 117 likes out of 8,800 views! I think UA-cam miscounted.
Thanks. :) Even though our audience is quite a bit smaller, we still really enjoy to hear that you all appreciate the work we put in.
Where in Vancouver is this place located? I’m heading to Campbell River in a few weeks and can’t wait to fish! 🐟

Well done Rod. Looked like a lot of fun :)
Thanks! It was a pretty awesome morning.
how deep do you fish for those lingcod?
We were in relatively shallow water, around 40 to 50ft deep.
Why’s he using barbs
Barbs? Or you’re talking about the gaff?
@@FishingwithRod looked like there was still a barb on the power paddle
@@FishingwithRod around 5:37 looks like there’s still a barb on that
@@connormathot3718 That's correct. There are no hook restrictions for the groundfish fisheries.
@@FishingwithRod i had no idea thanks
Where can I get that bait?
Where about are you located?
Fishing with Rod in California central
What length and power were those rods?

The rods are 7ft 1 piece Shimano Talora.
