- William Bryan told investigators he heard Travis McMichael use a racial epithet after fatally shooting Ahmaud Arbery in Glynn County, a Georgia Bureau of Investigation agent testified Thursday at a preliminary hearing.
The hearing lasted about seven hours, with the judge ruling all three defendants -- McMichael; his father, Gregory McMichael; and William "Roddie" Bryan -- would stand trial on all charges.
GBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Richard Dial testified that Bryan told police Travis McMichael said "f***ing n***er" after three blasts from his shotgun left Arbery dead in the street in the Satilla Shores neighborhood in February. Body camera footage also showed a Confederate flag sticker on the toolbox of McMichael's truck, he said.
On cross-examination, Dial testified Bryan mentioned the slur in a May 13 GBI interview, and to Dial's knowledge, Bryan had not previously made the allegation, including during a May 11 interview.

Failing to honor her oath as a public officer : Since she was Gregory McMichaels former boss she was forced to recuse herself but before she did - she contacted, consulted and directed the case to a second DA George Barnhill who also had a conflict of interest. His son knew Travis McMichael.
If you read the letter George Barnhill wrote you'd know without a doubt he was not impartial. The man practically assassinated Mr Arbury's character in the letter. Supposedly Barnhill is being investigated next.

Charging someone with murder is a grave thing, and all precautions need to be taken to avoid a wrongful conviction, regardless of how clear it is at first.

The deceased ran into a ditch trying to avoid these people.
GBI made it very clear, the defendants chased the deceased down, pointed guns at him, shot at him from a distance. Then there was a struggle for a weapon.
Get with the program people. Read the police report, and now the GBI testimony.
There is no world where this legal or should want it to be.
The defendants said they had a"gut felling" he had committed a crime previously.

I found it so painful to watch and listen to Ahmaud's mother; her pain was so palpable, her grief so deep. Watching her brought tears to my eyes. There is nothing anyone can do to help heal her pain, and I wish there was.

He tries to avoid them until he runs around the truck and Travis runs into him at the front of the truck. And it’s pretty sad how police believed everything they said until this video came out. They “just wanted to talk” with loader shotguns ready to go.. and he became “violent” with them for no reason?! The original police and prosecutors should be investigated thoroughly as well.

I used to have a nightmare where I died, but was still conscious in the afterlife. I had no control over what I saw, heard, or felt.
