as much as i love this song i must say this is one of the best covers out there and there are many. This one stands out to me. The harmonies and lead vocals are AMAZING!!!! Great job guys
I never get tired of Kasim's "greatest hits" turn in BOCs concerts, including "Bang the Drum All Day", He should sing more! Nice job Mr. S. Wish you had been with Todd and Prarie last fall!
Finally...a video that wasn't recorded through the crappy mic of a cell phone. Listen carefully folks, this is what well-mic'ed and mixed music sounds like. PUHLLLLEEEEZE quit posting video that looks like it was shot by Katherine Hepburn and sound engineered by Hellen Keller. To the good people at Band Geek...five seconds of you with Kasim is enough to keep me coming back for more. Great job fellas.
Back in '77, we caught the Sulton of Swing with Utopia, opening for BOC...both used the Cult's lazer show. Our row 3, dead center, floor seats didn't hurt none...wadda show!! Keep on rock'n!!
Love this so much, and it's nice not to hear the stupid hahaha after "it's not something that I say in jest" for a change. Kasim is one of the greatest vocalists ever, and this band does a helluva job with this slice of Todd-genius... and there are many of them, to be sure.
I can't decide whether this might be my favourite song of all time, or "Brandy" by Looking Glass. Your kickass cover puts it up top for now, at least until I get to karaoke "Brandy" again! Great stuff!
I seen kasim play with Todd a few years back in Nashville. Think I was around 21 or 22 at the time (31 now) About Midway through the show, me and a my dad noticed that kasim wasn't on stage, but it was a long slow break in a song so we didn't think anything of it. Then we started seeing a fog creep in from the right side of the stage. A few seconds later kasim reappears in another plume of fog. People start cheering his name, and he had the biggest shit eating grin on his face. Lol hilarious. O yeah btw there were no fog machines at the show...
Nice lead vocals but needed some additional back up vocals to sound really good. Not sure why two of the people were just sitting there... little disappointing compared to many of their other videos.
3 minutes of pop rock perfection - love the song and love Kasim's and the band's rendition
Kasim is so underrated.
Whoa! How cool is this??!!?
Excellent. One of the best written songs of all time. Seeing Todd, Kas and Utopia in 10 days. Stoked.
Another beautiful version by Kasim Sulton! Love!!!!!

GREAT JOB GUYS
Nice job boyz!
as much as i love this song i must say this is one of the best covers out there and there are many. This one stands out to me. The harmonies and lead vocals are AMAZING!!!! Great job guys
It might have something to do with the fact that the guy singing this version (Kasim Sulton) is also the original singer of the song. :-)
@@NGT-eb2oy Ah yes, you are correct; I don't know what made me think that Kasim was involved on this song.
Fantastic
LOVE KASIM
Thanks. Like a breath of fresh air in the cacophony of what passes for music these days. These guys are great musicians. Cheers.

Brilliant Lads...............Brilliant

Kasim one of the nice guys in music.
Of all the great Bank Geek songs...this is by far my favorite. Fantastically played, great vocals.

OK. Groovy. Great musicianship all around. Great vocals, lead and background.
Very nice cover, guys!
Outstanding all the way around - vocals, instrumentation, arrangement - Bravo!
A classic done wonderfully.
Phenomenal!
AWESOME cover 💯🔥
Fabulous!! (naturally)
In the final phrase " in your eyes" it is a little bit different tune of the Todd Rundren's original version.
That feel good! 👍Kasim's voice.
Whoa!
Great job guys and love the end bassline riff! Harmonies spot on and the whole band sounds great!
I love Kas.

This or Brandy??? You need to get out from under your rock and discover music for f's sake.
@@rubicon-oh9km Here's an idea - go fuck yourself. I'll like what I like and you ... can go fuck yourself.

Try "Frankenstein"
No. 350
Band is very good. Drummer could have played some of the transitions a bit cleaner but overall was very good
this guy would nail baker st
Nailing a street would take an awfully long time!
I like it better than the original! Love Kasim's voice!
Christ is the ONLY WAY to heaven!!!!
Oh, there is a population that loves single camera shot vids. Just saying.
:-)
Nice lead vocals but needed some additional back up vocals to sound really good. Not sure why two of the people were just sitting there... little disappointing compared to many of their other videos.
Great song who is the girl whit the dirty socks
I think it's the guy who sometimes sings out of tune. I'm sure he's a great guy though, just out of his league.
