I've worked in H&M as a part time sales advisor for 2.5 years and I can say that it is one of the best part time jobs :)

@@carlact5587 you will need to fill up a simple resume and pass it to the store that you want to work in. The manager of the store will then set up an interview session in a few days. :)

Alright today is Oct 27, 2019. I had an interview for H&M at 10am. So this is my experience. After researching what to expect. I was called by the manager on Friday. She asked me just if I applied and if what my resume said was still accurate. She then made the interview appointment one on one. I arrived at the mall and was greeted by the lady and her “co-manager” they sat me down at the food court and she proceeded to ask me the questions. The questions were the typical “what are you strengths, and weaknesses? What other jobs do you have? What is your availability?” Stuff like that. I replied honestly about my availability and what I do as my full time job. She never asked me about the history of H&M, which I was actually bummed out because I did study the history lol but when we were done she just told me “we will contact you about a second interview if we decide to take you”. I said goodbye and left. It’s 2pm and just received a call from her telling me they decided to have me in the team. The next time I will see her, I will give her my personal info to get the taxes made and for her to register me into the team. I guess every interview is different. But I guess the holiday season does make a big difference, they would want to hire as many people to help as they can, I’m assuming.
Racky Bocoum for strengths I said I can work well under pressure and I can multi task. I also told them I have a good work ethic and I am very responsible. But with each one I also gave them a scenario of why I’m saying these were my strengths. For weakness I told them I only have one and that’s being “shy” but I followed up with “but because my full time job deals with people I’ve never met before, I learned to push that aside and talk to complete strangers on a daily basis” so they knew I could be a good sales associate. For availability I told them whenever they wanted me to come in I can come in. I told them weekends they could have me all day. Making sure they knew they could rely on me being there. Those were pretty much, what I think, were the big answers I gave them.

@Dipa Singha I applied on Glassdoor they were looking for ppl in my city so it was up on glass door but try search it on indeed or job apps that u use

Unfortunately I can't fix this problem for you. I'm just a SA at H&M. You might want to try again, or change your user name. It might have been a temporary error!

What should I wear for the interview at hm interview?
It's important that you wear whatever you'd normally wear for a regular everyday stuff, be true to your style. Don't try to "dress up" for the interview, that would only have the opposite effect. They want to see you relaxed, confident and dressed in whatever you usually like to wear! Keep in mind though, not to wear clothes from other brands with bold logo prints on them...I mean, you can definitely wear other brands, just make sure it's not clothes with "out in your face" logo! I hope this helped!

Hello Rahul! The process of application might vary from one country to another, but here in Italy the applications are gathered through the HM site, "work with us" section where they show you if there are any openings and you can upload your cv!

Hello! Just be yourself, show confidence, good communication skills and ability to function well as a part of a team. Teamwork is one big value of H&M! As far as your second question is concerned, I guess it all depends on when do they need new sales assistant to start, but you should probably get an answer within few days. I'm not sure, as I think it all depends from one situation to another.

Hello! You should apply through on-line form at H&M website, or try and see if you can leave your CV directly at H&M store. In Italy, we now only accept applications through the on-line form.
What are the questions for H&M phone interviews ?
I don't work at HR so I don't really know but I assume it's some basic stuff about yourself and past work experiences, maybe your expectations for this job etc. Maybe someone who has done this kind of interview recently can answer that here, I think that might be helpful!

I'm sorry I no longer work at H&M. I got fired after 14 years of working there, because I stood up for my freedom of choice and my bodily integrity, during a very dark times in Italy.
