As perfect as it was, In my opinion, in a real life situation, the candidate lucked personable character and somewhat over sold themselves to a point... In saying that I got a lot of great pointers thank you very much for your efforts and keep them coming

I have some questions:
1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate).
2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role
3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies
4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years*
*Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*
@@jahualhaq9853 the height of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again and then expecting a different result.
If people are not hiring you, there is something wrong with your interview strategy. Look at yourself and analyse how THEY see you. Make changes and try again

Hi Richard, I do not have words to thank you for all your supports and interviews tips. In 2020 I have failed two jobs interviews and got frustrated to not get the opportunities. After having seen your videos, studied and practiced them I passed my interview straight away. Now in 2023 I came to your videos again mainly this one. I have listened all your tips, conversation and so on, put them in my mind and went to interview yesterday and I passed. The interviewer just say to me I love your communication skills. And I said to her: I am thanked to Richard M. He is the best. And She said I know him because I have passed my job via him as well.

It was actually my second time applying as the first time I completely bummed the interview and was unsuccessful. I spent a couple of days watching your videos, taking notes, making sure i was confident in my answers and I got a call yesterday with an offer for the job! Just an update…following Richard’s videos and ordering his program has made me so knowledgeable. I landed my dream job in November 2023 with the federal government. I’m still in lala land. Out of 15 applicants being interviewed only 2 were selected, one being myself. Richard you are truly living in your life’s purpose, thank you 🙏🏾

This is going to be a long comment so sorry in advance but I just need everyone to know how amazing this video is ☺ I am someone who has always struggled with job interviews. I got so incredibly nervous, freeze up, forget what to say but after discovering this channel it has changed all that. Once I knew I had a job interview coming up, I watched this mock interview on REPEAT on the days leading up to it, it helped me structure my answers properly and clearly and really helped with how I deliver my answers. I woke up on the day of my interview calm, confident and READY to walk in there and DO IT. I was told a few days ago that I GOT THE JOB 💪If you're someone who has had repeated "Nos" after interviews I know how horrible that feeling is and it can be the hardest thing ever to pick yourself up and try again. YOU CAN DO IT. Just commiting time into practising/preparing when you get the "Yes" it's the best feeling ever. Watch as much of this channel as you can and it will work, I promise! 😃

RIchard McMunn, youre the man! I have always been pretty good at interviewing, but I relied heavily on great rapport building and charisma. Your channel helped fill in the gaps that I was lacking. For example, you really helped me knock my 30-60-90 day plan out of the park, and polish my answers to questions like "what are my greatest weaknesses?" Your videos literally walked successfully through a 5- interview hiring process and I am now an Account Manager for a medical device company that I've had my eyes on for while now! So THANKS!!!

After going through several challenging rounds of interviews, I was able to implement the tips and tricks you shared with me. Richard thank you for your insight and videos. I just received job offer and will be starting in a few weeks. They interviewed 7 people for the position and I ended up getting it despite being the youngest and least experienced (I saw all of the other candidates while waiting). Selling myself in a confident and humble manner mattered more than being experienced.

I'm lost for words. I've never seen interview questions answered so well. These are pretty much everything a company will truly asked. I've been asked majority of these questions and I'm pretty sure I didn't answer them as well as he did, but I know one thing for sure now that I will be a lot more stronger on all my interviews moving forward. I watched this video the first day it came out. It was 4 days before my interview. I rewatched it and learned it. I got the job! I must have made an impression with my interview that they actually created a new position for me and offered me a higher title and pay.

Hi everyone , Yesterday as i was preparing for my interview which took place today at 11:00am , i came across this video , i watched it , took notes , modified my answers , i spend 2 hours yesterday ( play, pause, rewind and fast forward) , i woke up this morning and i prepared for an hour then i drove to the venue , all the questions that were asked there were the questions that are here and for the 1st time i was calm and collected , my dress code was perfect . i can proudly say i did well today even though i do not know the outcomes yet but i am confident. This is theatre, not the actual job. Plenty of jobs require actual skill, not just the ability to socially manipulate. If anything, confidence usually negatively correlates with competence.

I cannot stress how important this information is prior to any interview! My interview for my dream job happens to be this next Tuesday (video with 2 mgrs) I have never had a "video" interview but rather always in person. There are so many career coaches and so much advice floating around that I just end up giving a hot mess of an interview. Besides, I've noticed that Americans tend to give the advice of making your answers very specific, and giving loads of proof as stories. I've tried doing that and giving so much information just makes me sound scattered and its harder to convince the interviewer. Richards answers are very well articulated and concise, he just hits the nail on the head! I like his content so much because even if you don't have great accomplishments or stories, you can always use his brilliant answers to convince the employer.

Just wanted to post a comment to express my appreciation for you creating this content. This video was an eye-opener for me and provided a perfect base for my new and improved interviewing style. After my first interview using this new style, I was offered the job at a fantastic company, despite me lacking as much experience/technical knowledge as the other candidates.

It might look easy but as Richard suggested in his earlier video, hold a mock interview with a friend or partner that will be great experience before your dream-job interview.

I had a really big interview yesterday so I prepared by binge watching and studying ur videos, I wrote a script based on what u said and I practiced.
Im happy to say they called me back 30 minutes after the interview ended and I got the job!

Another tip is do not try to memorize what he is saying, just take key ideas and answers and combine them with your own ideas and experience. Because if you try to say exactly what he's saying, you can forget some part in the interview

I get nervous and start talking EXTRA fast and random stuff. I had an interview today, they asked me a hard question that i couldnt get straight away and after talking nonsense for awhile, i stopped and i was legit confused what i was trying to say lmao. I went in circles till i resolved to nothing

I recently decided to change paths and pursue a career when the lockdown was instigated. I studied for months, achieved everything I needed to, and started having my first formal Interviews. I failed 7 of them... with a little progress each time but it wasn't until I found this video that I have officially secured a job! Thank you very much. I used some of these answers in this video with slight variations in order to make the right impression. You are very good at what you do and have earned my subscription sir! I will be back for more advice in a couple of years as I plan to continue my studies and move my way up into a higher-paying position. Appreciate what you do! keep up the good work! :)

This is the first comment I have ever put on UA-cam. I cannot thank you enough. I came across your videos 2 days before my interview. Honestly, you made everything so simple and helped me piece everything together. I passed the hardest interview I've had in my career, it was a group interview, admin assessment. 3 people got to final round which was an actual interview. Yesterday they sent me an e-mail saying I was one of the last 2. They just called me today to offer the position!. It is the company I would like to be with until I am retired hopefully.
