Looking for my books on Amazon? Here they are!
High 5 Habit: amzn.to/3fMvfPQ
The 5 Second Rule: amzn.to/3372Rl9
It's Saturday, I am a very young 75 yr old woman. I am living alone and am desperately lonely. My vehicle is presently not drivable, so I have groceries and food delivered and buy anything I need from Amazon. These conveniences are priceless but the isolation is life ending. I have called local churches about someone to pick me up for church services. They do not offer that.
God bless you and love you 💜
Can you take an Uber by chance? I’m so sorry ❤ I wish someone from the church would pick you up.
I have to improve my English. Probably we can talk sometime and become friends?
🙏 you are loved ❤
I hear you! I got covid 9 months ago. Still fatigued and have chronic gut issues. I've been so isolated and depressed. I use to love walking around honolulu and making small chat. I have ptsd so I would push myself to interact. Now I'm homebound. Perhaps we can be friends too! Remember u are loved❤
Fun video to watch on this Saturday morning
It was really great to hear that reminder, Mel at the 2:50 mark. You truly are a refueling source. And I sure needed the reminder that I do "got this".
I love all of your shows - but this episode, specifically, was so impactful on a very deep level.
Thank you for the work you do - not just on this show…but also on yourself. It’s both inspiring & motivating!
My go to friend passed away last October. But yes, I enjoy talking to strangers. I’ve had some tell me their whole life story practically.. .
💖💖💖Thank you Mel and your Guests! Very helpful!🌻🌻🌻
I never had that parental bond. No wonder why I have such a hard time.
Great episode! I am always chatting up people…Never met a stranger and it makes me feel great to flow through life having what I call “micro-connections”.
Hi Mel, watching from Philippines 🤗
Wait. What happened to the male doctor/scientist talking about the 86 year study???? All of the sudden it’s a different podcast. Weird!
Thanks but this guy brought me way down! I had to turn it off..he sounds like he is talking to children!
I left my country in Argentina for a bit of money in Germany… thst conversation with a nice barista will never happen here in Germany…..thanks for the video, I am terribly sad.. just need to make a decision
Someone who has lived in 2 different countries I can relate...
"Is not good for a man to be alone" said God
But they acted like they don’t neeed anyone
You convinced me- i am falling in love before I die. A pornography addiction is as big an obstacle as i make it. Time to reconnect.
All three interviewsare great, but 3rd starting at min 59 was absolutely best what I heard, at the point I am in my marriage, thank you Mel😊
In my rural upbringing, it not only was expected, but critically necessary for people and families that lived far apart from each other, to chat with each other.
Forty years after my departure from our family farm, I still reflect on that connection and remain connected across time and distance with these same people. And I continue to treat people this way and talk to people. I have had such incredible conversations in many, many settings that have, on occasion, changed my life deeply.
