It was a hard choice but I just sold my t6 to get a hi capa and the primary airsoft hpa m4 adapter. Super nice gun, it was great for the time I had it. If the local store couldve got my gate in in a reasonable time I'd still have it. They had it so long i finally went and got it and said screw it lol.

Hey Bud, Firstly just wanted to thank you for such a great video, Installing a Titan into my T6 step by step, very helpful, so a huge thank you.
Only thing I would say, I had to file both sides of my casing for the selector arm as it damaged my first sticker when I put it into Full Auto, Luckily I tested it before putting everything together.
Can’t wait to get back on the field and set it up.
Keep posting more and any hints and tips you can recommend as I’m looking at getting a KWA T10 as my Next RIF.

I was wondering: I have opened up my Stg44 (AGM) last summer to do some upgrades, but it was a pain to reopen and close the gearbox all the time (especially the trigger spring was so stiff it would just jump out when you don't hold it down.
Would you reckon its possible to make a video on Stg44 upgrades/is it possible to use a titan in there as well? (I've also got a new barrel and hop up unit ready, but no idea how to assemble it yet ^^')
Hiya, glad you liked the video, unfortunatley the STG has gone to its new home so I don't have it to do any more videos on. BUT the gearbox is a version 2 so you could easily put a titan into it if you wanted to. As for the barrel and assembly, they are AR type hop ups so should be ok to assemble like a normal one if you find a good video for it, then it should just drop in like on my disassembly on the STG. Question for you, I have a ronin as well and was thinking of dropping in an m130 spring from the kwa shop (once they open for business after this covid situation) would a heavier spring be ok in this gun?
I dont think the m130 will be a problem, but the trigger response will decrease from having to pull back a harder spring. Also its very easy to do it yourself with the vps system
Milky is spot on. It will laugh in the face of the spring but you will take a hit in trigger response, a higher rates high torque motor will make up a lot of that and a MOSFET of some sort will make it even better but it will still make some difference. Pheas

Quick question, will the Gate Titan fit in other ksc erg as well?(such as the centurion arms cm4 erg)
Hiya. I am not sure in all honest with the CM4. Everyone lists them as having a KWA derived gearbox, which if it doesn't have the magazine cut off then in theory it should be the latest shells which are titan compatible. But I can't seem to see anything online about people fitting titans in them. Sorry I can't be more help, but glad you liked the video!. Pheas
Hi so I'm currently fitting the same kit to my Ronin using your video but stuck on how the anti reverse spring sits? Hard to tell from your video any help would be great thanks !
Hiya, the spring should sit on the right hand side of the anti-reversal latch so that it is pushing it against the bevel gear. The spring should have one side of it that is flat and the other should have like a hook sort of thing on it, that hook should sit on the arm of the anti reversal latch and the coiled middle part should sit on the bottom shaft of the latch. As soon as I can find my tools (having a move around in the house) I will strip one down and show you with a quick video. Pheas
Hi pheas, I installed a titan in my TK45c however motorgrip gets hot and I have seen a bit of smoke, please advise! Thank you!
Hiya, there is a lot here that could be an issue!
If the smoke came from the battery then it could be that the battery terminals are not wired to the correct places (although this would cause smoke etc within seconds of being plugged into the titan) So check that the battery red wire goes to the red connectors on the titan.
Next check the wires for the motor are on the correct terminals, if the smoke came from the motor then I would expect that its probably going to need replacing.
Next it could be that a wire or wires are exposed somewhere and shorting out, so I would go through the wiring mm by mm and check for damage.
If non of those come back with any issue, check your actual battery, it could be that your battery is at fault, or after that it would probably need me to have a look at it directly.

technically you do not need the AVL anymore either. The gate will also safeguard against motor reversal. However, I keep it in there for added safety. Your mileage may vary. for the washers its actually suggested to use 2 washers, 1 metal and 1 fiber, the fiber washer isnt very strong to support torquing down the screw that holds it in. what can happen sometimes is when using 2 washers it can set the screw head too high and will contact the sector gear. In the case where that happens you can also use a steel shim instead of a washer or reshim your sector gear so it doesnt contact the screw head. And folks do pay close attention to how much grease you use on our gears. the optical sensors are very sensitive. If you use too much grease it will sling all over the inside and get on the sector sensor and your gun will throw an error code and cease to function until you clean off the grease. If you do get grease on it you may have to reopen your gear box and clean it off with a cotton swab and alcohol. if you have an inspection hole in your gearbox you may not need to disassemble it to remedy this.

Hello, just found this video and by far the best I’ve seen on guide wise... I had a question though do you know if a Gate Aster would work with this or strictly Gate Titan? Also any recommendations for battery? I have the T6 in my shopping cart currently! Hoping Titan batteries are compatible!
Hiya. Glad you enjoyed the video! Titan batteries are compatible and will run it well, if you have a t6 the aster will be perfect for it, I would suggest a good quality high speed motor to go with the aster and the Titan and you will have a top piece of kit. Also make sure your replace the hop rubber as it's a bit pants the factory standard one. Pheas

Sir what version of gate titan you used? Is the gearbox of kwa qrf mod1 and t6 are the same?.
Hiya. The titan used is the V2 rear wired Titan. The QRF and the T6 and the T10 and the TK45 all have the identical gearbox in them, and the RN47 too! Hope that helps! Pheas

Hiya, A Titan lipo battery does not need a Gate titan mosfet system. The titan lipos are completely separate to this. So if you change the connector on your aeg to a deans to suit the titan then you can run a titan lipo. The mosfet is purely for upgrading the gearbox to do extra / different things to the standard. Are you using front wire or rear wire gate titan
Hey I’m installing this rn. At 19:15 when installing the trigger I used a speed trigger instead but there’s no where to place that trigger spring. (I can place it but it’s super loose) or can I just install it without the spring!

post a link to the trigger you got. Did it come with its own spring? Yes you need a spring on it or else its not going to return on its own. You would have to pull the trigger forward after each shot, and it wouldn't stay in place securely, which could cause the titan to register the movement as a trigger pull, and fire on its own.
After seeing how sensitive the trigger is should I still put a even more sensitive trigger in my gun or no?
Hello! The maxx adjustable trigger goes in nicely and you can adjust the settings on the trigger (adjustment screws) and in the titan app for a tiny trigger pull if you wanted one. But its your preference. Pheas
I dont remember if you mentioned it but is it a rear or front wired mosfet?I dont know the difference
hiya, it all relates to where the battery goes in the gun. If it is in the stock or at the back then you will need a rear wired titan, if the battery is in the handguard or the front of the gun then you would need a front wired titan. This is for mosfets that come with the wiring attached ready for install (drop in ones) other mosfets like the merf don't have any wiring you have to wire them in yourself so can be made to go with front of rear wiring. Hey dude, followed your guide and it got me through the isntallation thanks so much! I have a problem though... Batteries are warming up real fast and i Have no idea why. Gearbox seems free and motor height also seems fine... Looking on GHS im getting 56amp peak current and it's a stock kwa ronin t6 as in the video! Can I send it to you to have a look or?

Before it gets to that though... What voltage and C rating battery are you using? I fit a Titan in a T6 this weekend just gone (full video coming soon) and it was using an 11.1 and got warm fairly quick just from the sheer voltage and active breaking to stop the gearbox especially if spamming the trigger. It got warm (not as much) even on the 7.4v.
The other issue you could look at is are the wires trapped anywhere? A compression of the wires anywhere can also allow power through but cause heat build up.
Have a check of those things first and then let me know if you still want me to take a look. Pheas

I have a question regarding the kwa aeg 2.5 gearboxes, is there anyway simply to get a gate titan in?, if so how? Do i need to file the interior of the 2.5 gearbox? Im so lost
If not, whats the best thing i can do right now since I realized these products arent after market friendly
My tech knowledge when it comes to AEGs is inadequate but i managed to be informed more about it, i realized getting the 2.5 kwa vm4a1 was good for the realistic cut-off feature and the variable FPS system where i can change the fps of my gun. Having a ver. 2 gearbox wouldve made my life easier if i just learned the basics of upgrading and gotten a T6 but it was sold out at the time. My dumbass thought ver 2 and ver 2.5 was just the gearbox shell types 🤦🏾♂️
Hiya. If you have the VM4 with the cut off then the titan won't fit in that unfortunately. If its the new one (like the T6 etc) then it will take the titan in it happily. The whole aeg 2.5 and aeg 3.0 can be really confusing and I have had people contact me who have made the mistake of taking it as the gearbox version and not the features of the gun.
The filing is needed as it stops the sticker, needed for the selector, from from being scratched off and that can cause issues for the optical sensor reading the firing mode.
The only option you will have mosfet wise for a 2.5 (that has mag cut off) is an inline mosfet like the Gate warfet or merf (I did a video on wiring the warfet in.) You can replace the gearbox with a new style kwa one that takes the titan though, but at added expense. If you have any more questions let me know! Good luck with your build!

What could I expect in terms of performace with a stock arp9 with this titan thrown in?
Hiya. You would get a lift in rate of fire. The trigger response to complete a shot would also jump considerably too. Then all the nice configurable options to boot too! The motor being changed would give a potential bigger lift in rate of fire too and snappy trigger. Pheas

i can install THE GATE TITAN in aeg 3.0 RM4 SR10 and CM4 CENTURION ARMS?
Hiya, unfortunatley those two guns have the older style gearbox with the magazine cut off feature, meaning the internals of the gearbox (the structure and how it is made) wont allow a TITAN to be fitted. However a normal mosfet like the MERF will fit, if you wait for my video tomorrow it shows a comparison of MERF vs TITAN to see the kind of results you can except. Hope that helps. Pheas

hey im struggling to get the body pin above the trigger out, how did you get it out and do you have any advice?
hiya, they can be difficult, I've always found them to be easiest to get out once the pistol grip is removed and the screw in the sling plate has been removed and the rear body pin too. This way there is nothing causing tension against it, it may still need a really good whack to get it out but it should be the easiest at that point. Hope that helps and good luck. Pheas

@@johnnyle5552 certainly harder than the main two body pins. Those Little teeth on the pin do a good job of wedging it in, so needs a much bigger whack. Pheas

Hello! I have installed leviathans into other brand but the positioning of the sensors is not compatible with the kwa shell I do not thing. Only the titans are shaped correctly to fit into these. Pheas

From looking at the mosfet layouts, the leviathan's sensor is positioned to read the cam gear on the bottom side of the sector gear versus the titan reading the sector gear teeth. Other than the possibility of the PCB not fitting in the shell, I don't see anything completely different. Was hoping someone here have tried, guess I'll order it and try it out:) Will just swap out the titan from my 2gx gearbox and put the leviathan in there instead if it doesn't work.

Hiya, with the Gate Titan it should do! The installation will be similar but not the same, I haven't been asked or had to do the install of a gate in a normal V2 gearbox but largely the compatibility should be the same and this installation should be very very similar! Hope that helps! Pheas

Hiya. The gearbox us drop in ready, but if you don't round off that corner it scratches the sticker off the selector and the optical sensor can't detect the firing mode properly. Hope that helps. Pheas

Hiya, yes it is. The difference between the two is there is upgraded software on the titan itself and the package includes a USB link and some cables and the patch. Pheas

Hello! For all the KWA's that will take the titan it has to be rear wired as there is no opening to the front to feed the wiring through (without machining one yourself) So needs to be the rear wired one! Hope that helps! Pheas

@@connormcglynn8870 with the T6 or the QRF? The T6 isn't overly picky about mags as long as they are AR type mags. The QRF has its own mags unfortunately so you are stuck with. Pheas

What trigger is that?
It´s a Maxx Advanced titanium cnc trigger. Type E from the looks of it. The type "E" is just the shape of it, there are several ones.
is this the v3 gate or v2

@@michaelr687 no difference. They are adjustable triggers Maxx is just a brand of speed trigger. Or have I got this all wrong.
Not to criticize but you are a bit of a hamfist ;D. You should try slowing it down, you'll strip less threads and damage less finishes that way.
