Hello! More so than ever, the KWAs are excellent out of the boxes and need nothing doing to them. They are designed with 11.1v lipos in mind and will run for a long time very happilly with one in. Any aeg on an 11.1v WILL EVENTUALLY burn out the trigger contacts... so medium to long term a mosfet is a good idea to replace or protect the contacts to maintain that snappy pull. But... they are excellent out tyhe box especially the Original series they have done recently. Pheas

Hiya. On the recoil models there is no fis adjustment other than changing the spring. To do that, remove the stock and unscrew the buffer tube end cap. Remove the spring (short one) and recoil weight and then the main spring will come out. Insert your new spring, followed by the recoil weight and the short spring and reassemble. Hope that helps. Hi Great video very helpful. I got questions regarding FPS on those guns I found that they come hot 380-400fps main is 330fps out of the box is that mean I may buy lemon with massive air leak or they adjust the fps out from the manufacturer now.

It is the ronin t10, the version that DOES NOT HAVE MAG CUT OFF. If you want the best in mosfets... then TITAN is the only trigger block based mosfet that will fit and work in it... You could still wire a mosfet in like the AB++ or merf or warfet though instead, but the titan is the best option!. If your aeg has the mag cut off feature, then you will not be able to fit a titan in it. Pheas

It will protect your trigger contacts, sharpen up your rate of fire how fast it will respond to a trigger pull, as the MOSFET releases the power direct to motor. Well worth the investment. The same method I used for the gate merf can be used for the ab++ ( the merf and warfet are also good choices, but I have had the better results from the ab++) . Pheas

Completed the upgrade, however when stripped my piston isn’t in a great condition. Wondering if you know of any metal teeth replacements that are compatible with the T10. Been told about the CYMA FMR but they’re aren’t any in stock in the UK. Wondering if y have any suggestions, thanks.

Thank you for the instruction. It is really helpful. I had complete the installation on my T10 and now playing with the GCS. What's your setting regarding the Gear Ratio. Is it 19:1 or any other recommendation for that ? BTW, I am using stock gear.
Hiya. I leave all my settings as stock. I just recalibrate the selector first, then leave the gearset setting as "normal" or 18:1 as that's what they are. Glad it helped you though! Pheas

So I’m getting a rm4 pretty soon and I have a spare Titan and motor I was planning to install but was wondering do you lose the bolt catch function with the Titan installed
Hello, The bolt catch (holding open the bolt to see the hop unit) is still retained, as the mosfet is entirely inside the gearbox. If its the RM4 though, which has the mag cut off feature (that the gearbox locks out when the mag is empty... unfortunatley, they wont take a titan inside the GB Shell as they are formed differently. You can wire another mosfet in, but you cant use a trigger block mosfet like the titan. Hope that helps. Pheas

Does that work well with he stock hop up unit and barrel or did you switch those out too? Is it worth switching out anything else as well like motor? Cheers
Hiya, the pruple bucking works really well with the standard hop and barrel, the hop unit, for stock is VERY good! The motor is personal preference, if you are keen on snappy single shot, then a higher TPA rated motor will give you what you want, I would avoid high speed motors as they tend to not have the pulling power to run the recoil (warheads are awesome, but also awesomely pricey) Out the box... the titan and the hop rubber and you will be SUPER happy with it! Hello! 1. You can remove the recoil, but you need the parts for the spring guide from the non-recoil model of this gun as they are specific to KWA guns. You can then attach a stock, this is shown here is this video: ua-cam.com/video/JvQsu_9Z3RY/v-deo.html 2) It needs a gate titan v2 rear wired (NOT NGRS) . 3) the aster doesnt have the capability to run the KWA gearbox, confirmed by KWA and Gate themselves, has to be the titan. Would a 30mm (diameter) suppressor fit inside the rail? Or would I need a barrel extension. Someone told me the max is 27mm but that seems kinda small I imagine 30mm can’t be that big a difference
Again a year or so late, but recently my t10 mosfet has broken. Since I’ll be fully stripping the gun, is there anything else worth upgrading alongside putting a Titan inside? Also wondering if the newer v3 would fit inside? Thanks
Forgot to ask, I’m also looking at a spring upgrade. I play in the UK and want to be just under my sites 350fps limit. I’ve tried looking KWA website and also on Reddit but I’ve found no definitive answers as to what spring I should be using, especially with the recoil system it seems no one knows. Hiya, the titan is the best option for a MOSFET for it, the v3 is not for this gearbox it's for guns that use the version 3 gearbox (like AKs and g36) so just get the v2 rear wired. As for the springs, they use a linear spring semi unique to their platform. If you get the full power kwa spring you might need to cut it down for UK FPS. I would check the piston to see how the teeth are, if still on the original piston the back couple teeth might be a bit cheewed by now. Other than that, it should be allll good! Hope that helps. Hello! The binary is a nice little feature (although some CQB sites I am aware have banned its use as it got abused) It shouldnt add any further stress on components its the same as being REALLY fast with your trigger finger. SO shouldnt make any additional stress and wear on the gearbox. Pheas
hello, the only people I have seen specifically do springs for kwa... is kwa, they do the original spring and thw cqb spring. After this youowuld need to look at compression to resolve any issues to get the maximum out of it. Pheas

Hello! Of course! So Gate is a brand / manufacturer of their project "Titan". This is a type of mosfet / gun control system that has become very popular of late. They server a variety of purposes, but initially mosfets were designed to help with trigger arching (where the electricity jumps contacts and burns them from the voltage) by using a mosfet you didn't have the voltage going via the trigger, it instead was diverted (on trigger pull) directly to the motor, which gives you a lift in trigger response and rate of fire. As they have evolved into different formats they have added more and more features. So this one in particular is one of the best out there, and fully replaces the trigger block of your gun. By using various sensors on the chip, it can be used to make the gun do all sorts of other things and fine tune how it works. So for example with this one you can change the firing modes of the gun and all sorts of other things with it. I hope that makes sense and helps. Other examples are Perun Hybrid (my fav at the moment) and NS Customs Thor which is a traditional mosfet. Pheas

I have the ronin recon and the T-10. I'll say the T-10 kicks like a mule in comparison. A 1000mah battery lasts me an entire game with about 1/2 capacity remaining. I typically go through about 2k rounds in a game.. absolutely love this thing!

Hello! You need a Titan V2 Rear Wired. The Recent Titan II (2) is the newest version of the chip, but still not working very well with KWA gearboxes (there are software updates available which solve most of the issues I believe) so I would find the black in colour titan v2 rear wired. Ill keep that in mind on that , and regarding the part where you cut the dean plug soo it is considered to be voided per Gate , then... I should test the MOSFET first before i assemble all of it?
@@kharlsantos9645 Cutting the wire probably / possibly will void the warrenty. SO test first as much as possible. I will say... there is a way to fit it without cutting the connector off. Hello! The chip itself has nothing physically different about it. Where they differ is the advanced has upgraded software on it which allows more finer tuning of some settings. The advanced also has the usb link included to allow the control from the app. The basic is great if you don't want too many settings with too much choice. Hello. For the KWA gearboxes you need the Version 2 rear wired ones. Then it's down to you if you want basic, advanced or expert. Physically all the same, but all come with increasingly more options that you can tinker with. The basic doesn't have a link to configure it from computer or phone, the advanced has the usb link and the expert has the Bluetooth link. The advanced one is in my opinion the best value for money. Hiya. For these generally I recommend the titan v2 rear wired advanced. However, if you have a usb link already... Then consider the basic one instead, you can pay for the software upgrade in the app for the titan. Pheas
I've installed a Gate Titan in my gearbox, but sometimes the replica keeps shooting while I dont even have the trigger pulled that long, while I got both on Semi, it stops when I pull the trigger again, do you maybe know how to fix this?
Hiya. First thing I would look at is the "fire" setting on your trigger. If it's set too low, then it could detect the trigger even when not pulled. I would adjust it to need more of a pull. Do this in the GCS app. Next thing, if that doesn't work, check the sensors (on the top board) to see if there Is dirt on them, lastly.... Is it the original black trigger? If not, maybe paint / permanent marker the side facing the trigger to help it detect it better. Pheas
@@arnoldmannak Hiya. Next thing I would check is that this could be damage to the wiring or to the board itself.... I would factory reset and update the titan first... Recalibrate the selector and see if that helps. If not, then I would open it up and check the wiring for damage, if still no help, I would contact gate direct, they are pretty good at helping! Pheas

Hiya, is the spring still on it (should be under the left side) Might mean the plate is bent (on the side of the gearbox) and not catching the hook for it... Also try to pull the bolt release button out (to lift the catch) to see if that retains the plate, if this doesnt work, then the plate is damaged to prevent it catching. Pheas
@@PheasAirsoft God damn it, one issue after another. Now the gun doesn't fire when I pull the trigger. I'm 100% sure the safety is off and a fully-charged battery is plugged in. Contacted both KWA support and the local store where I bought it from, looking forward to getting a replacement perhaps? Sad that, there are too few videos about this gun, the hook of the plate is kinda bent. Gosh, I just got this gun on Monday and I can't believe I just broke my first airsoft rifle after being delivered in a few days. 🤒
@@hessyip2829 have you checked the connection on the bottom of the motor to make sure the wires are connected and the right way round? Does it make any noise at all when you pull the trigger. Pheas
@@PheasAirsoft It didn't before I took out the stock, it does after I connected the bat when I took off the butt stock. Though the gun does work, the mock plate was pulled back, revealing the hop-up without pressing the bolt catch manually. I could only return it the way it used to be by slapping the side of the lower receiver. At least the gun works now, heh. I guess the main connection was the reason, thanks for replying.
Ha ha. You don't need to do the snipping. I have another one to do soon where you can remove the tube and ring and feed it through and do it with out the snipping. Pheas

A year late but, firstly is this the rm4 ronin t10 aeg3? and if so, is the titan the only option for a mosfet in this gun?

Same - just ordered the Gate Titan II and after watching this, figured I should do any other internal upgrades while it’s all apart

Would a 30mm (diameter) suppressor fit inside the rail? Or would I need a barrel extension. Someone told me the max is 27mm but that seems kinda small I imagine 30mm can’t be that big a difference

Again a year or so late, but recently my t10 mosfet has broken. Since I’ll be fully stripping the gun, is there anything else worth upgrading alongside putting a Titan inside? Also wondering if the newer v3 would fit inside? Thanks
Forgot to ask, I’m also looking at a spring upgrade. I play in the UK and want to be just under my sites 350fps limit. I’ve tried looking KWA website and also on Reddit but I’ve found no definitive answers as to what spring I should be using, especially with the recoil system it seems no one knows. Wondering if you would have a good idea
Hiya, the titan is the best option for a MOSFET for it, the v3 is not for this gearbox it's for guns that use the version 3 gearbox (like AKs and g36) so just get the v2 rear wired. As for the springs, they use a linear spring semi unique to their platform. If you get the full power kwa spring you might need to cut it down for UK FPS. I would check the piston to see how the teeth are, if still on the original piston the back couple teeth might be a bit cheewed by now. Other than that, it should be allll good! Hope that helps. Helo! It will "run" out of the box without the USB link, BUT the link is handy to just configure the selector and ensure its working properly (and get software updates if needed) Pheas
Another great video my friend , so I was wondering how do you feel about using the binary mode on this gun and does it add too much stress to the gearbox internals due to the recoil spring ??
Hello! The binary is a nice little feature (although some CQB sites I am aware have banned its use as it got abused) It shouldnt add any further stress on components its the same as being REALLY fast with your trigger finger. SO shouldnt make any additional stress and wear on the gearbox. Pheas

hello, the only people I have seen specifically do springs for kwa... is kwa, they do the original spring and thw cqb spring. After this youowuld need to look at compression to resolve any issues to get the maximum out of it. Pheas

Hello! Of course! So Gate is a brand / manufacturer of their project "Titan". This is a type of mosfet / gun control system that has become very popular of late. They server a variety of purposes, but initially mosfets were designed to help with trigger arching (where the electricity jumps contacts and burns them from the voltage) by using a mosfet you didn't have the voltage going via the trigger, it instead was diverted (on trigger pull) directly to the motor, which gives you a lift in trigger response and rate of fire. As they have evolved into different formats they have added more and more features. So this one in particular is one of the best out there, and fully replaces the trigger block of your gun. By using various sensors on the chip, it can be used to make the gun do all sorts of other things and fine tune how it works. So for example with this one you can change the firing modes of the gun and all sorts of other things with it. I hope that makes sense and helps. Other examples are Perun Hybrid (my fav at the moment) and NS Customs Thor which is a traditional mosfet. Pheas

Is the KWA t-10 really as awesome as people say? Does the electric recoil consume more battery as well?
I have the ronin recon and the T-10. I'll say the T-10 kicks like a mule in comparison. A 1000mah battery lasts me an entire game with about 1/2 capacity remaining. I typically go through about 2k rounds in a game.. absolutely love this thing!

Hello! You need a Titan V2 Rear Wired. The Recent Titan II (2) is the newest version of the chip, but still not working very well with KWA gearboxes (there are software updates available which solve most of the issues I believe) so I would find the black in colour titan v2 rear wired. Ill keep that in mind on that , and regarding the part where you cut the dean plug soo it is considered to be voided per Gate , then... I should test the MOSFET first before i assemble all of it?
@@kharlsantos9645 Cutting the wire probably / possibly will void the warrenty. SO test first as much as possible. I will say... there is a way to fit it without cutting the connector off. I am hoping to do an install for someone shortly so I can make a video of how to do it with out cutting the connector. Pheas
what is the different between titan basic and advanced?
Hello! The chip itself has nothing physically different about it. Where they differ is the advanced has upgraded software on it which allows more finer tuning of some settings. The advanced also has the usb link included to allow the control from the app. The basic is great if you don't want too many settings with too much choice. Hello. For the KWA gearboxes you need the Version 2 rear wired ones. Then it's down to you if you want basic, advanced or expert. Physically all the same, but all come with increasingly more options that you can tinker with. The basic doesn't have a link to configure it from computer or phone, the advanced has the usb link and the expert has the Bluetooth link. The advanced one is in my opinion the best value for money. I've installed a Gate Titan in my gearbox, but sometimes the replica keeps shooting while I dont even have the trigger pulled that long, while I got both on Semi, it stops when I pull the trigger again, do you maybe know how to fix this?
Hiya. First thing I would look at is the "fire" setting on your trigger. If it's set too low, then it could detect the trigger even when not pulled. I would adjust it to need more of a pull. Do this in the GCS app. Next thing, if that doesn't work, check the sensors (on the top board) to see if there Is dirt on them, lastly.... Is it the original black trigger? If not, maybe paint / permanent marker the side facing the trigger to help it detect it better. Pheas

@@arnoldmannak Hiya. Next thing I would check is that this could be damage to the wiring or to the board itself.... I would factory reset and update the titan first... Recalibrate the selector and see if that helps. If not, then I would open it up and check the wiring for damage, if still no help, I would contact gate direct, they are pretty good at helping! Pheas

The bolt catch doesn't work when I put reassemble the gun, the bolt should lock itself when I pull the charging handle back. How do I fix that
Hiya, is the spring still on it (should be under the left side) Might mean the plate is bent (on the side of the gearbox) and not catching the hook for it... Also try to pull the bolt release button out (to lift the catch) to see if that retains the plate, if this doesnt work, then the plate is damaged to prevent it catching. Pheas

@@PheasAirsoft God damn it, one issue after another. Now the gun doesn't fire when I pull the trigger. I'm 100% sure the safety is off and a fully-charged battery is plugged in. Contacted both KWA support and the local store where I bought it from, looking forward to getting a replacement perhaps? Sad that, there are too few videos about this gun, the hook of the plate is kinda bent. Gosh, I just got this gun on Monday and I can't believe I just broke my first airsoft rifle after being delivered in a few days.

@@hessyip2829 have you checked the connection on the bottom of the motor to make sure the wires are connected and the right way round? Does it make any noise at all when you pull the trigger. Pheas
@@PheasAirsoft It didn't before I took out the stock, it does after I connected the bat when I took off the butt stock. Though the gun does work, the mock plate was pulled back, revealing the hop-up without pressing the bolt catch manually. I could only return it the way it used to be by slapping the side of the lower receiver. At least the gun works now, heh. I guess the main connection was the reason, thanks for replying.
