[HOW TO] KWA EVE 4 GATE TITAN INSTALLATION

- In this video, thanks to Kai, I show how to install a Gate Titan V2 Rear wired mosfet into the @kwakschk EVE 4 ICE.
This process will work for all the NEW polymer bodied KWA's that are about to come out as they all share the same body type (just the mag wells and hop units are slighlty different)

@LockdownSpinning follow step by step and take pictures is all you need , obviously unless you have cave man hands and manage to snap something in half 😂

Followed this guide for my TITAN II V2 with integrated Bluetooth and installation process was identical.

Thanks, really useful video. I skipped the filing down bit. Bad mistake. The hard edge of the gearbox will tear the sensor sticker.
About to order my Gate Titan and this video is making the whole process much less daunting. This is the perfect example of a how to video.
DO I need to shim at all whether I install a new trigger or not?

Good video but can anyone explain why you would use torques (or torks idk) screwdriver bits instead of just allen head screw bits?
Because the torx grip better and tend to not round out like Allen / hex heads do. Maintains better longer term for the health of the screw. Pheas
REMARKABLEY EASY HE SAYS! Got into airsofting a few months ago and bought my Eve-4. Ordered a Titan a few days ago but I'm having trouble finding a tech that will put it in for me. I'm a bit scared to try this myself!
Also is the cable too long with the regular battery housing in the stock?
@@drfunknstein835 hiya, yes the cable is too long by default, if you are brave enough you can desolder / cut it down and solder the connector back on again. If you are in the UK, I do the install for ALOT of people. Pheas

7.4V > 11.1V for these guns btw for anyone wondering.
I’m guessing this will work the same way with the normal KWA Eve 4 and not just the ICE version? Since they are the same exact gun. Just one has different colors.

I can’t find any info, but does the gate aster work in these gearboxes with the same mods you have done? If not what is the difference?

They do not unfortunately. from what I can remember something to do with the placement of a sensor on it and / or the board can't draw enough to power for the kwa high torque requirements. Pheas

Shell casing needs black tape to keep out light from interfering with the sensor

Will the gate titan be the only mosfet that will fit in the EVE-4 or will a perun v2 fit aswell?
Hiya. The titans are the only ones that fit out of the box. The peruns apparently can fit, but and it's big but, the gearbox casing needs substantial (so I am told) modification to make them fit and work. Pheas

What set are you using to unscrew everything?
Hello I have a set that includes Torx down to T6 and Hex down to 2 I think. Only occasionally have I needed anything different, for those, I bought an additional "precision" screw driver and bit set that go smaller. Pheas

What battery to use with this setup?
Hiya. If you want to use out the box I would get the battery extension and get an 11.1v lipo of some type, that will fit into the space, they thrive off the 11.1v. Pheas

@@PheasAirsoftthanks , by doing this i discovered i was sold a 2nd hand , my gear box is all marked and 2nd hand screws on it.
no pude hacerlo funcionar, segui todas las instrucciones y aun asi no detecta los engranes y el selector nunca se queda en un solo lugar…😢
Hiya, it might need a full technician to take a look. If it's not detecting the gears it could be a dirty sensor, the selector just sounds unusual. Pheas

Hello! Glad you liked the video! The basic one does not have the usb link, you can get away with not having it, but if the selector is off and you need to recalibrate you will need it, but if you have a mate who had one... Use theirs.
