This was a really really good video, after 1,5 year I for the first time understand how the interaction works between my Stacked Edition knobs. Thanks for explaining, great guitar, love your slide sound 🎶👌🏻
Origin pedals are a one time purchase in that you buy an overdrive or a compressor or whatever pedal you like and it will last a lifetime...I have nine Origin pedals a Cali76 deluxe several years back (only just learned how to use it properly this week; check out Funky man he will show you succinctly in no time what it does and how to dial it in and how it sounds clean) and I got the stacked version this week. Origin said place the stacked at the beginning of your chain and the deluxe at the end of your chain if you want to use them both together...I will buy one more Origin pedal when they release another pedal that I like and then that's me done because they are not cheap pedals. You get what you pay for though in this instance. Nice video Lance, very helpful.
The best demo of this pedal I’ve seen. And I’ve seen a lot of them. One problem though…., now I want not one, but three (two of these and the Cali76 Deluxe). And of course that’s not going to happen. I have a long list of musical gear that I feel I still need to buy and I have a hard time getting my priorities right. However, I do know that I want this compressor at some point. Funny thing is the fact that I hate compressor pedals. There’s a handful of them that do sound pretty decent, but they still feel wrong under the fingers. Especially the squishy type of sounds. And for some reason I feel like that’ll be okay with the Origin Effects pedals. I guess you will always keep that weird feeling when using those squishy sounds, but I think I’ll be okay with more subtle settings. And when I use it for that wonderful slide guitar sound, the whole ‘feel thing’ becomes different anyway. I think you just sold me a pedal. Maybe not in the next few months, but I’m definitely gonna go for it! Thanks! ❤
Great demo. Great playing! Love your tuning with that deep resonant bass from that HxH Jazzmaster!!! Got an excellent point about having four pedals. I think pretty much all pedals should have digital controls for analog circuits so they can offer at least half a dozen or so customizable presets. It's not hard to do, and it doesn't have any effect at all on the sound or performance of the analog circuit(s). It occurs to me that for your last comment (around 12:35) you could get that single compressor sound for a hundred bucks less with a regular Cali76. Thanks for the awesome demo. I watched it a bunch of times just to hear you play.
Great tone! I just bought the Cali Stacked so thanks for this video. BTW Your bridge pup on the Strat sounds amazing... compared to so many! May I ask which pickups the set is and what you are playing thru? Or do you do something special to get there?
Great video. However can you please refrain from saying RIGHT? at the end of virtually every sentence? Anyway, thanks for the informative, well-thought demo.
This demo absolutely sold me on this pedal. That sound is so thick and gritty that I want to chew on it. Bravo!
You're right. I was one of those who bought the pedal after seeing it. Incredible. No need for overdrives with this pedal🤩

Nice job. You’ve inspired me to put two compressors I have together.
Funk it, I finally got this one.
Does this make the Slide Rig obsolete? These compressors rock!

Wow
I can’t imagine talking to someone like this. Get therapy 😂
Not to mention, I’ve been listening for 1 min and not a single “right”.
