I have always heard it pronounced nay tivity my whole life. I'm 68. People need to get a life. Why worry about the small things. Not worth it in my opinion. GREAT video Kat! Keep up the good work! Love your videos. So informative.
Your research videos are my absolute favorite videos to watch! I always pick up nativity sets when I see them but had no idea about some of these brands and the high value! Thank you for sharing!!
The Shell Factory in Ft Myers just closed down recently and the did an online auction. They sold tons of Fontanini lots and alot of Jim Shore. All brand new. There were 20+ pages of retail items.
Thank you, Kat! I knew many of these, but there are several surprises! It was mostly just fun to see all the styles, and how much people will pay for what they want!
I appreciate all the work it takes you to do this research. Am learning so much with these videos. Many names had never heard off. Proves never too old to learn something new. All the best.......💚💚💚 Alabama.
Tom Clark is better know for their gnomes. They are out of a small town outside of Charlotte, NC. Back in the early 90s we lived near there. They hired people to paint these at home. I had looked into doing this, but being a new mom took more time than I realized, lol.
❤ the Waterford ! Awesome video as always. I'm on a Nurse Flipper binge as a kind of self-soothing therapy after delisting a bunch of eBay stuff from my burglarized storage unit. 😔
I sell a lot of Fontanini I find it here in New Jersey. Last year I sold a Vintage Fontanini Lady Camel Driver Herder Guide. Paper MAche 12" I auctioned it off and ... $935.00 it sold !!! 45 bids. It was amazing. Keep a look out for sure! Thanks again! Happy Holidays
I found my first Fontanini piece last weekend. It wasn't a nativity piece but it was still neat. That person that had multiple sets . Recently we had an estate sale that was a gift shop that had been open at least since the 90s and it was a time capsule of NOS. May have been something like that.
I've been buying the Fontanini pieces at Savers. Usually pay around 5.00 per piece average size pieces. I also bought a 7 piece wooden set made in Italy by Anri. They're large about 8" on average in size. At first I didn't buy them be cause they looked cheap until I looked closer. Only paid $24.00 for the set. Only thing I want to mention is Wood does break. The hand on one wise man is broken and to replace him I'd be looking at 174.00. So he will be handicapped and still loved. Thank you for posting this I didn't really realize what I was buying I just knew I loved the figures.
Hi, just wondering if you know how to say Na tivity set NOT Nay tivity set. I had to quit watching the video because I couldn't take it. Lol... Sorry !
It truly was intended to be helpful rather than unkind. I do apologize if I offended anyone, especially Kat, whose content I admire and respect. For many years, I did public presentations as a part of my career, and I deeply appreciated feedback like this that I received over the years. It helped me enhance my speaking skills and my professional reputation, and those things meant a lot to me.
I remember always watching my mom set up our nativity at Christmastime every year when I was a kid. I have no idea what happened to it. But wish it was still around. Who knows what the value would be today? Thanks. 🎄😉👍♥️🎄
Please, lead the way for other UA-camrs. Nativity does not have an 'ay' sound. The a sounds like 'uh' I know this because I'm old, but I double-checked Google to be sure. You are way smarter than me, certainly in business, but this trend irks me. Sorry to sound petty. Jocelyn and Kayla also pronounce it wrong.
Hi - That's my nativity - the Olive Wood (I'm FatCatFindings) at 6:19!!! That's so fun to see my Sold Listing in your video.
YAY awesome sale congrats!!!
@@TheNurseFlipper Thank you :)

I think I'd heard it said that way once until now, in spite of living like everywhere at some point... but I believe I will carry on with life 😂
It is funny how we learn and pronounce things differently!
I sold just the precious Moments camel for 38 and the 3 wise men for 38. They are worth the pick up!
Ohhhhh good to know thank you!!!
10:24 I sold the 3 camels for this set for $650! Most of the Hummel Goebel pieces will sell individually for good money
Ohhhhh niceeeeeeee
Your research videos are my absolute favorite videos to watch! I always pick up nativity sets when I see them but had no idea about some of these brands and the high value! Thank you for sharing!!
You're so welcome!
Wow, I am blown away by the value of nativity sets. I will have to watch for them now. Thanks!
I know! I'm always surprised at the value.
The Shell Factory in Ft Myers just closed down recently and the did an online auction. They sold tons of Fontanini lots and alot of Jim Shore. All brand new. There were 20+ pages of retail items.
Ohhh wow sad I missed that one
Thank you, Kat! I knew many of these, but there are several surprises! It was mostly just fun to see all the styles, and how much people will pay for what they want!
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you. I won't sleep on Kirkland nativity sets any more. I have seen some and just walk on by. Merry Christmas!

That’s incredible! What a great score.
Italy and German sets are good pick ups.
Good to know for sure!
Very interesting, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
You're very welcome!
Hi Kat - I think it's crazy that the seller of the highest priced item left out the brand Fontanini from their listing title.
YESSSSS isn't that insane!
Last one looks like an old church set. I picked up Bombay two weeks ago. Hope it sells before next Christmas LOL
Yeah we're getting close now!!!
Thanks ,I just picked up a Fontaini ornament, drummer angle for $3 on whatnot , no one else bid.
That's a great score!
This was very interesting Kat!
Glad you enjoyed

Wowza!!
Grandeur Noel was sold at COSTCO too. Some are really nice.
I didn't know that! I'll have to check it out.
My friend had some a long time ago.
That was great! Thanks!
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for the video
You're welcome!
Would've liked to also see lower price sets. Thanks
Yes, lower price sets are good too! I'll definitely keep that in mind for future videos!

Thanks, Kat!
You're welcome!

Thank You!
You're welcome!
Great video Thanks
You're welcome!
Thank you.
You're welcome
Thing is you all know what she means ! Its childish people complaining how she said it shame on y’all
Thank you :-) That's how I've always said it how I learned it and how I'll continue to say it LOL
Hey Kat they are buying wholesale probably.
Thank you… I often pass nativities up. I’ll be more careful.
I know, there are some hidden gems out there!
Hi, just wondering if you know how to say Na tivity set NOT Nay tivity set. I had to quit watching the video because I couldn't take it. Lol... Sorry !
I'm sure plenty of other channels that will pronounce it to your liking
Just a friendly tip to help you sound perfectly polished: neither “nativity” nor “crèche” has a long A sound.
@@magnifisweetsthat’s not friendly or polished advice, it’s nitpicky and rude.

Nativity is pronounced either a SHORT A, NOT a long A .
@marydumois4242 You used the word “either” incorrectly in this sentence.

I've never had a set up myself, I bet it was beautful

That's how I've pronounced it my whole life and how my parents said it so probably not changing
Irritates me to death. It’s a simple word SHORT A
Pretty easy to turn it off
Thanks, Kat! ❤
You're so welcome Val I hope you're doing well!
