yes another haul video where i'll get all my recommendations hehe and i would love a blue period vid! even though im in uni for writing instead of visual art ive still found it really relatable especially when it comes to people's view of pursuing art and the types of people and mentalities people have within it. it does start with the main character's second year in high school but it's definitely far into art university at the moment cause it's pretty fast paced time wise but it really is able to hold such complexities about art and the art world and how subjective it can be to each person especially as it goes along, you go away from it wanting to create immediately haha

Nice haul and congrats on getting all the SJ titles. That is a serious accomplishment. I guess you are going to be collecting the new titles like Kaiju No. 8 and Sakamoto days as well so its never really done. I just picked up the first 10 published volumes of Drifting Dragons last month and I have really been enjoying it so far. It also has some of the most fire covers in manga right now and the art overall is excellent. There is just so much good stuff coming out soon. Can't wait for Tokyo Revengers.

For high rise invasion there is actually one extra chapter that depicts their life in the high rise world after the final event. It is not released in English.

If Takahashi can get her series over in America I really want a physical releases for The legendary creator Mitsuru Adachi like his older masterpieces H2(34 vol) and Touch(26 vol) . 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
I’ve been hoping as well but unfortunately Adachi never had the same prominence in the US that Takahashi had back in the 90’s with Urusei Yatsura, Ranma 1/2, Maison Ikkoku, and through the 2000’s with Inuyasha. At least we got Cross Game, but I’m not sure to be happy or upset about that because on the one hand… it’s amazing, but on the other hand it left me thirsty for more of his works to be given English release.
@@omnibuscollector There's an anime adaptation of a semi sequel ish to Touch called Mix that Funimation picked up in 2019. (Which you don't need to know full knowledge of Touch to understand Mix) It's still a vary new series and the fact the manga is monthy the pacing is rather slow since it debuted back in 2012 and as of now only has 17 volumes.
I haven’t really read the manga for “High-Rise Invasion”, but I enjoyed the anime…. Then I looked into the manga to buy it. Then I saw the omnibus release and I ain’t a big fan of them!! Awesome haul!! Congratulations on such an amazing collection and finishing up all Viz SJ collection!

Seeing you pull out those hitman reborn volumes makes me so jealous. I wish viz would start releasing them again, but at this point, it might just be easier to buy them all at once in Japanese from Ebay. I did that with Mairimashita! Iruma-kun which doesn't have an English release, so it's actually reasonably easy if you want them as collector items

I knows its kind of whack but if you are interested in collecting all of Reborn I can get you volumes 17 and beyond, BUT! They would be in Spanish, here in Mexico the series is fully completed, and I live in the border to california, so shipping stuff to the US is pretty normal for me, you can hit me if interested
7:54 This contains the prequel "Vampires of Edinburgh" threeshot, which is insanely important to the plot of the series. The fact that this is its 1st official English release is really funny to me. Like if you didnt read this scanlated, you wouldve been so lost.
Is Kaguya-sama a shonen jump release? isn't it a seinen? PD: If you haven't read the story from volume 13 onwards, really recommend it, it's one of the best rated manga to date mostly because of what comes at that point
Yes, it’s part of Weekly Young Jump in Japan but is part of Viz’s Shonen Jump line. All You Need is Kill and (upcoming) Kubo Wont Let Me Be Invisible are also from that magazine and part of the SJ line.

Preferably finished and/or series that are limited in scope to say 10 or less volumes? Pretty specific I know. I just want something easy, chill, with good art, about the real world, and accessible to a non-hardcore collector.

No it's 100% intentional. The series is filled with German words. Unfortunately from my understanding, Viz's version doesnt always translate them properly, which is... *sigh*.
I personally enjoyed the Highrise Invasion anime🤷🏼♂ Also, if anyone has Black Lagoon Vol. 9, it's the last one I need for my BL manga set. So if anyone can help me out with that, that'd be huuuuuuuge.
In my opinion Mashle was pretty boring. The first few chapters were alright but the story just dies down and the humor is pretty stale. But don't let my judgement cloud ur views. Go ahead and read it yourself!
imo the colossal editions are very ugly in at least the covers, I just like how the covers on the singles look way more but having looked at the colossal editions at bookstores the big pages are nice I must agree

Don’t know if you’ve read it yet but you should try out “Blue Lock” it’s one of my favorite manga, it’s like a soccer battle Royale manga.
