I've been trying to help Covid impacted families in my neighbourhood by sending them homemade food. Tomorrow I plan to send them kada prashad. That's why I came here to watch this recipe. Hope the prashad turns out to be good and helps people to recover fast. Kyunki jaisa Chef Ranveer ne kaha, bhavna matter karti hai! :)
Super Neha n god bless u ❤
Well done dear ❤️❤️❤️
This made me smile. :) keep up the good work
Usually we avoid kadha in flu or cold.

I am 46 year old and no one has never taught me how to cook food not even my mother and mother in law. I just cooked with my mind. I am really in tears after seeing you guiding how to cook. You are helping me to understand food and how to love food. Lots and lots of gratitude to you.
Really
I can understand your feeling.same here
😔 sorry to hear that I learned significantly from my dearest mother in law Bobo and dadi ❤️ even though I’m indigenous American we have a similar halwa recipe called Indian pudding my in-law family is from nwfp so lots of karahi 😊
How come? To dad I hope you had a good relationship with them.
True to the T' : "Gurdware jaise kada prashad toh sirf Gurdware mein hi ban Sakta hai".. That's y its called prashad naa...!!😄
Yup
Exactly
I always thought that was because while making the kada prasad you have to recite/listen to a Gurbani from the Sukhmani Saheb.
Exactly....
I agree mere college ke Gurudware mein Guru Gobind Singh Ji ke Janm din pe banta tha.
Maine try Kiya ghar pe bahot acha bana par woh Guru ka aashirwad ka taste missing tha
"Recipes were simple so that faith could win." This is Ranveer Brar. Take a bow Sir. Very deep meaning🙏
For the first time I have got such a quick results in making the kadah prasad🙏 I was always scared of lumps being formed in the prasad..
Thanks a lot chef @Ranveer...
This was such an amazing experience of 1-1-1....

I am muslim and i love kada prasad...i remember when i use to visit gurud wara when i was a kid and uncle with big thala use to serve with his own hands to everyone loved it❤️
Lovely Shahnaaz👍.....food has no religion...even I loved to eat bakarkhani in my childhood which one of my Muslim frnd use to bring with her in lunch..Hayee bachpan ki yade...😇
Kara prasad ko I love becoz I did my schooling frm a Punjabi School...or waha prayers k bad hm sabhi ko Kara prasad milta tha

I'm suffering from covid and asked my husband to follow Ranveer Brar recipe to make kadah prasad. Waheguru ki krupa Karen 🙏🙏🙏🙌 Best and lovely wishes to Ranveer Brar ❤❤🙌🙌
Ranveer Brar is not a common chef . A chef with a unique combination of spirituality , a person with high EQ , who brings oneness in diverse culture. So truthful towards each dish as religiously as we worship
This Kada Prasad is called 'Sukrit' in our community, we belong to Shia sect of Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims. It's given to us like Prasad in the Jamatkhana (prayer house) on special days and Fridays. Happy to see how we all have similar traditions.
I have heard that shia muslims are the actual muslim and thats why they are not that agressive towards other religions..
@@Sohinig823 ho ho ho i am not judging but i am scared when they do matam in mohram just see it first please ...

Food is more than carbs, protein or fats. It's the nourishment which comes with lots of memories and stories. It's the way you can connect to the community and inner self. Thank you Ranveer for bringing all these stories and recipes to us. Really liked your work.
Those nostalgic memories!! Gurudwara surrounded by red roses and their fragrance and the aroma coming from the prasad , and the prayers offered from deep within....happiness in all faces that I saw as a child , will remain as a treasure in my heart forever.
Whenever you say, "Ranveer Apne Bataya nahi." I try to control the smile and laugh on my face. But, I always fail and smile after your this phrase. 😅😅😅

Has got a great camera presence, connects with the audience like an expert storyteller... I can go on listening to him forever, the way he gives a lot of info, trivia, background, history... Atta?? Seriously?? 😮 Sir, honestly when I visited Sri Harmandir Sahib and had the halwa, my parents and I were confident about the fact that it was suji ka halwa with some erotic ingredients which wasn't possible to make in a standard Bengali kitchen because it was just out of the world. I didn't in my wildest dreams imagine that it was actually ATTA!! 😯 What I did was I immediately made the halwa and presented it to the Almighty. Because be it GuruNanakji or Sri Ramkrishna, it's all one. And trust me Sir..it tasted heavenly.😍 Yes I am sceptical about the amount of ghee and sugar consumed, and the next time will try to use lesser of those ingredients. But it tasted so similar. My father still thinks it to be Suji. 😛😛😛 Thank you so much Sir for this recipe.
There is special mota aata for making halwa, sooji and aata both from wheat....maybe that's why it gave feeling of rawa
It should be exotic ingredients and not erotic ingredients ma'am.
Humare ghar me mummy bachpan se Atte ka halwa banati thi with vanaspati ghee or sometime ghee & it taste same.
When I visited Gurudware for the first tym at the age of 24, I was surprised to receive same halwa as prasad from Gurudware & I was delighted to eat it.
It's very common to cook Aate ka halwa in Bihar, UP, Punjab....
Its Atta. U might had got the thicker Atta commonly called mota atta, which may resemble like suji in some recipies
In Gurudwara they use Whole Wheat thick Atta.
Love the way u tell the history of the dish! Being out of India it connects me so lovingly to the dish! Love sharing ur stories when I serve them! Thank u ☺️
I love kada prasad, I used to eat lot in school , as my school has gurdwara, n thank you guru nanak ji bcoz of you i m spiritual
I literally smile when he said😅😅 "aai khushboo aai?"
Sir, the kada Prasad was really nice. My daughter has become your fan after watching Master Chef and she sprinkles salt in a fashionable way as you do! Your giving of credit where it is due is really a noble gesture! God bless you.
You are amazing... and love the food philosophy... u make every one learn some thing, not only indian food is different and special it's history has beautiful science behind it... we really love it ... and u always say the do's and donts... that's also appreciated...

Thanku Ranveer for preserving and communicating the true essence of Kadah Parshad. ♥️
Thank you for all your recipes. My really enjoys the food. Really appreciate your way of explaining and your recipes.
In Maharashtra we make this on "Satyanarayan Pooja", but we use semolina instead of wheat flour,
You are great chef bro
Kya usko shira kahte hai?
@@125bbna8 yes
That is called halwa in North India which is made from semolina....kadah prashad in Punjab is made from wheat flour
Some times added ripe banana or pineapple too
Are you talking about sooji ka halwa?

Ranveer I tried it just now, as I could not wait to eat this after watching your video, and believe me it tastes awesome 👍, I offered it to God first and than I ate it with my husband. I made Kada Prasad first time, and it tastes so delicious, tons of thanks to you Mr. Brar....

Made it with the same proportions and it turned out just perfect... But as Chef Ranveer said, Gurdware Ka prasad, to Gurudware par hi milta hai. Visit to Gurdwaras, Kada prasad and Langar were an integral part of my growing up years at Chandigarh. Thanks to Chef Ranveer for keeping us connected to our roots.
Chef Ranveer, Thanks from the bottom of my heart ❤️ . On this auspicious occasion of Gurupurab, I wish to share with you that I made the best Kada Prasad ever with this recipe today. My MIL is hard to please when it comes to Halwa (like all Punjabi moms). When I prepared the prasad with this recipe of yours, she said “Aaj Gurdware jaisa prasad bana tha”. There is no compliment beyond this. And thanks to you for making it very clear ki experiment nahi karna hai. I was tempted to add some besan & sooji while making it, but aapki nasihat yaad aa gayi 🙏🏻 And cooking while watching you video is like cooking with an elder brother. God bless you & you family on this pious occasion of Gurupurab 🙏🏻
Love the way you tell the background of the recipe with meanings and everything, it connects to us and is so informative at the same time.
