Thank you so much. I used to enjoy it when I was a child and my mother prepared it. Now I am an 80 years old Indian American. My wife passed away over 40 years ago. I have learned to cook almost every Indian dish since she passed away, but never could find the recipe for this Halwa. I will give it a try. Thanks again for the accurate measurement.

You can never get the exact same taste as the gurdwara sahib. doesn't matter How much well you try. The peace and sweetness of gurbani is the real essence in the kadah prasad.

I also remember that I used to go to gurudwara only to get this atte ka halwa. It used to so wow. Every time I tasted, the taste remains the same. Second was the langar. So beautifully cooked and it used to be delicious. I still remember the day I went to amrister golden temple such a memorable journey.
Just prepared it. It was sooper easy to make just took 10 to 15 minutes. I just put even less sugar & ghee. Came out perfect. Thanks 4 the recipe. Tastes just like the one I had in a gurudwara :)

First time I got to taste it when we were visiting golden temple Amritsar on occasion, so yummy and delicious my hands got coated with beautiful taste of always with enormous amount of ghee,wow how yummy can always get,loved it.
