Hello Tim ! I prefer voice over.
Really enjoyed the dynamic movements. Sometimes it can be too much to bear (for both body and mind) to go from static pose to static pose so this is an ideal class for the times I'm feeling a little restless. As for the voiceover vs live instruction I have no preference either way; each have their advantages and drawbacks so personally I'd appreciate a mixture of the two going forwards. Thank you for this flow. My body felt a little wonky after carrying some heavy groceries so this helped to realign things a little.

They are a little bit more authentic (if you know what I mean) and there are more jokes 🤣.
When you are somewhere out of the studio voice over is ok.
But both are great, love your sessions.
I liked the voice-over class, Tim. The pacing of poses is more even per side and you're able to let your humour come through more as well as your detailed teaching points. Go old school!

I’m not such a fan of voice over because I don’t feel as connected to the person I’m practicing with, which is a large part of the reason to follow a video class for me. I feel like I’m with someone and not practicing alone. I do like the thought of you recording your own spontaneous practice and then posting that. That would necessitate voice over but worth it in that case. Always love to do your classes, but in general I skip over voice over types of video classes. I do have to say though, that most voiceovers are, or feel, even more remote because the person is strictly giving descriptions, or instruction, and not talking to us like we’re people. So I really super appreciate that you talk to us during your classes! Cheers Tim!
Ahh that makes sense. Ok, thanks Nancy. I don't understand the last thing you said about voicing over the spontaneous practice, I think that's what I did.
Loved the energy and the movement of this practice. It is one I will definitely return to frequently. The continuous movement really helped get me out of a mental rut and refocus my energy.

I've been enjoying different videos from you. I've had multiple dislocation injuries on both my shoulders. The technical language you use helps me understand where and why my shoulders are unstable. I've been encouraged to look into more practices to help heal and gain more range of motion. thank you so much ❤😊😊

I really enjoyed this class! I’ve been pretty busy this whole year and haven’t been practicing yoga as much as I’d like. And with the time I do try to put towards it, I haven’t really been able to get into the practice and truly enjoy it which has been hard. A vote for the Voice Over! Great dynamic class filled with lots of different movements. I connected with your observations, as when you talked about a yoga teacher often demonstrating the tougher pose, and even beginners will follow it out the desire to achieve vs doing the pose that fits their ability. Also, I connected with your observations in shavasana - about putting aside the energy that goes into being 'right', and the concept of being a receiver of thoughts, like an antenna. I am sure that this practice today has improved my 'reception'! Thank you for another great class today, Tim :-)

I really liked this class. The only thing I struggled with is that when you say 'we'll stay here for 5 breaths' it's not enough time for 5 actual breaths. Thank you again for your generosity in sharing your knowledge 🥰

This was an absolutely magical flow. I felt instantly that I should be doing this exact routine every single day for the rest of my life lol
Also the voice over ASMR quality was perfection especially at Shavasana where I felt myself just become thought bubbles and then came back to my body to say Namaste. 11/10 would recommend!

This is an invigorating class. I didn't know what you meant by "dynamic" but I like the movement. It has a lot of good stretching but it also seems like a very long, increasingly intense warm-up with push-ups. I had to replay the video to see scorpion. I don't remember doing it with you before. I liked it . I do feel energized. I like voice over and live instruction. Sometimes the live instruction is a little hard to hear but not very often. Thanks, Tim. Namaste.

I enjoy both. Felt like voice over gave me a bit more agency to make the practice my own, which felt empowering. On the other hand, felt like maybe there was a bit more attention to little detail/adjustments during live voice. Maybe just not used to this. I'm not always looking at the video, so I really benefit from hearing what we're currently doing and what we're moving into in detail.

This is my first time commenting though I've been following your videos for 3+ years. I really enjoyed the loose swinging warm up. I do like both voice over and live instruction but I liked that in this class you would set us up and then let us do each movement for a few repetitions according to our own rhythm. I love to have a bit of time to flow solo in quiet in between guided sections so this was perfect. Thank you for always trying something new!

This was just what I needed to get grounded and feel more comfortable in my body, and in my skin. I enjoyed the voice over. But I enjoy the live recording style too. I think the voice over has an overall calmer atmosphere.

THanks again for a good class. The voice over was very calming but I found I had to come out of the pose and look at the screen more often than with the live instruction. Sometimes the instruction was a little late. I found the idea of being an antenna for the thoughts to flow in an interesting & helpful concept.
