I put my hair up in a scrunchie for bed. Wish I knew your secret now since I just washed my hair today. I would love to try a different way since it gets stretched out some overnight. I used these Cake products too before and really loved them!
I’m going to make a video but haven’t done it yet. I sleep with a wedge pillow and drape my hair over the edge. I am obsessive with making sure my hair is pushed up and out of the way.

I’ve never tried to combine the products in my hand because of the “curdling” effect where they sometimes clump up when mixed, but I did it today and I might just keep doing that! Anything to same time with styling when I have a toddler running around 🙃 I also have been digging the scrunching the whole time process too! Your methods, hair volume goals, and personality are my jam 🙌🏻

Do these products have a strong scent? Your curls are so pretty!
Thank you! It’s not super strong, not as rich as Moroccan Oil products scents, I would say medium or medium lightly scented.
The scent also doesn't seem to stick around once it's in your hair. It literally smells like cake in the bottle or in your hand but I can't smell it once it's in my hair and I'm sensitive to scents. BUT I only use the curl cream so I can't speak for using the whole line.
This entire line has scent based on bakery products! So if you are sensitive to scent, you may want to head over to your local Walgreens and sniff a few. I love Cake!
I was thinking the same, go give them a sniff! And another viewer said you can return things to Walgreens if they don’t work for you. I haven’t tried this yet but I will!

Anybody here use Cake products on fine, thin hair that's easily weighed down?
Have you tried them? I think they might be too heavy for fine hair. Have you tried Pantene Soft Curls? Or Rezo gel? Those might be good for your hair.
And Cake might be great for your hair. Let me know if you try it!
I have thick, course hair. You said you put a heavy conditioner in your hair that you leave in. Do you have one that you would suggest?

Does the hairspray make it impossible to refresh? Im in florida, so I would LOVE a hairspray to help with the humidity, but i always hear that when you try to refresh, it makes your hair like gummy or something like that? Tbh im not much of a refresher anyways but I'm still curious, lol. To be clear, i haven't heard that about THIS hairspray, just hairspray in general.
I don’t refresh, but yes I think any hairspray would make it difficult.
I rarely do a refresh because my fine, thin curls just get so crushed and frizzy when I sleep so I have to completely wet my hair. However,the Aerogel hairspray does NOT make my hair gross on subsequent days like most other hairspray do. I feel certain, you could refresh with it in your hair.
Love this line for curly hair, and the hair mask in the packet is AMAZING! I got 5 uses out of it, and I saturated my hair!
