There are many different spirit ashes in Elden Ring. So many in fact that most don't even have all of them. But the question is, is any of the spirit ashes good enough to become Elden Lord? Today we find out in this glorious pacifist elden ring run. We also indirectly find out which is the best spirit ash summon. Twitch saw it first btw!

I just found out that spirit ashes don't scale with NG+ cycles.
And Tiche still claps bosses cheeks. We are unworthy of her.
Well, weapons dont scale either..
Because she hits for health %

Technically Tiche actually does scale, damage wise at least. Her attacks take a set percentage of the enemy health

he broke his leg to enter phase 2 and lost a bunch of hp himself but if you deal dmg too high then that is what you will get

For the Rennala fight you could use the Cursed-Blood Pot to focus the attack of your ashes
For no damage you need to throw the pot at the ground, or else it does damage although a very small amount.

The darkness incantation don’t actually work like that, like a cover, instead you have to cast it near your enemies (they have to get hit by the dark mist thing in order for it to work) so they get blinded. Yeah it’s a dodo incarnations idk why they even made that

I feel like the massive loss in HP during some phase changes is due to some weird interaction with Tiche's DoT. It probably "completes" it and displays the full the damage it would have done.
Try Latenna. She can ride a random wolf. If she is close to wolf, she climbs on it
Yeah imagine fighting the red wolf of radagon with her. She just jumps on his back and is like now we fight our way to the next boss my steed!
I like the skeletal militiamen. They tend to last pretty long in fights so they’re great for grabbing aggro.
They do no damage tho

fire giant died immediately because breaking the leg causes further damage after cutscene btw so all tho the late cutscene is wonky its not a glitch of any sort!

Maybe add a main hand dagger with bloodhound step to keep yourself out of danger. Can swap back to the buff halberd as needed. Spam your way through any area with bloodhound, and avoid boss damage.

Lhutel the headless is only good for drawing agro, her high resistance, health, and her ability to teleport away from attacks also makes her one of the longest lasting summons. I used her for the second half of my playthrough because the high damage summons felt like cheating to me.
And isnt she pretty effective against tarnished npcs?

I had this exact idea a couple days ago. I was playing my NG+5 at the time when I was like 'How hard would it be to beat the entire game with just my blood-loss flies?'. I'll say this, it was pretty damn tedious just beating the Tree Sentinel. 😅
So basically, this is the “Spirit ash becomes Elden Lord” run while you play as support 😂🤣 Interesting to see a new ending to this game.
Those shield guys put in work. I tried them out when I was fighting Malenia and they can do pretty well in the right circumstances. They just don’t work well for Melania because of how she gets health back for doing damage. But you should’ve tried out the Dung Eater and Nepheli puppet summons. I haven’t used Nepheli but Dung Easter puts in work on a similar level to Tiche.
Basically Pokémon in Elden Ring
Just shows how many of the ashes need better AI. They can nerf damage a bit but they can't just sit in a corner doing nothing.. Happens too often.

Personally i dont see black tiche getting nerfed, early bosses get no diff, while late game took longer than expected
So fun fact about the elden beast, when they do their grab attack they don't have I-frames like every other boss, which results in them dropping the person they grabbed if the beast gets slapped. It's definitely a glitch, but still good to know.
Would have loved to see the DungEater puppet, he is fantastic.

I think there are some spells or weapon abilities that don't deal damage, but rather debuff enemies in an AoE. I think that'd still fit into a no-damage-dealt run.

I just 3 other videos on this challenge and mimic tear, black knife and rotten dog will easily get 90 percent of the bosses
Okay. This would've been a much cooler challenge run in NG where you'd have to go heavy into some kind of dedicated healer to keep your early low level summons alive.
The Dung Eater Spirit Ashes would've done wonders here.

You missed out on Omenkiller Rollo, he’s actually a super power summon, average health but immense damage for a summon, he inflicts bleeds and has high enough poise damage with one of his attack to hit Melania out of waterfoul dance.

good job. today i tried to make run without melina, but only started. i wanna see what happens, if you get to leyndell catacombs and get "lord of frenzy flame" thing. at this point in normal game melina should stop help you but you still didn't get access to roundtable hold and horse

I'm pretty sure this run is impossible on a fresh character or at least gonna be 10x harder as you cant spirit summon in gaels and the way you obtain Tiches ashes is by beating her in the gael in Rannis rise.

For Maliketh, he doesn't heal. The black knife effect temporarily reduces max hp of the boss, but it's not visible on the health bar.

Greatshield spirits are easily my favorite spirit ash
5 of them, they do insane poise damage and can throw grenades too
basically invincible vs physical attacks
second favorite ashes are rotten stray and fanged imps
and of course Black Knife for when things get serious

You have to use darkness in the face of enemies and it blinds them for a time even if the fog clears
Minor detail Pot guy/let me solo her summon is meant to be more of a extra damage from range guy, kinda like if you summoned in solaire who would stand back and spam lightning bolts
