If what Blanca Paloma can be performed by someone else then I will start of thinking thats something common, thats not the case. And thats what It become of something unique. Thats a gift awarded just a few persons and thats become to be magic. Just those who knows what I am talking about, know thats true. Such high quality level in this music genre is difficult of beeing imitated. There you are Rosalía admires nowadays, all over the world. Who plays this same genre music on her own style. Thats makes the difference, and so It must be seen to have an idea, how importance and value this new Flamenco has. Would anyone others contenders accept the challenge? Thats the reason I give much more relevance for something cultural and genuine of the country instead a pop song, according to voice and live performance, and lírics , obviously. 😊🇪🇦💃🌹👍 Go Blanca, really proud of you. Thanks for your reaction! Only a tiny correction, it’s not actually her grandmother who is supposed to be watching her from the moon. Blanca refers to a mother that pleas for her to be buried in the moon when she dies, to see his/her child from above (all nights except one!). This is pure poetry man.
I think that is a hard part to sing though, and she hits the notes perfectly. Songs with more repetitive lyrics have won eurovision multiple times so…I get your point though!
@Bu Arada I agree with you. She has a good voice. And I do like Gypsy music in general. Well, it's kind of a gypsy lullaby, I think with a modern performance. I am 50% Spanish and 50% Portuguese. I totally admire the fantastic legacies left in Spain by the Romans, the Arabs and the Gypsy culture. But my heart is, very proudly, absolutely 100% Portuguese.
