I'm glad changing those parts worked out, I have a 2004 Nissan with fairly low miles and sometimes stuff ages out. I probably would have done the same thing on mine because you're there already 🤷
Great explanation about using the NTK solenoids, and fwiw I agree. Curious, what would be the average charge, parts included, to have all three solenoids replaced at a shop? Nice job.
@@themechanic6117 Wow, that is an amazing price for the job you did. If you had said, 3x that or more it would not have shocked me. My daughter has 2017 with ~65k miles and i know this service is going to be required before long. I wondered what to expect. Fwiw, NGK/(NTK) plugs all I use in my Hondas. Thanks for the reply.🏆
You say, No check engine light after the repair?.... It takes about 70 miles before that circuit reaches readiness. Before it's ready, the check engine light won't come back on. Even if you didn't fix it, you won't get a light for 70+ miles.
I can tell you after owning a 2002 Maxima - The ignition coils need to be replaced or checked. Inherent with Nissans. Maybe.
Almost to 60k subs bro keep up the good work !
Thanks! We're getting there !

Makes sense to me. I would have changed them all also, especially considering they're not expensive
Great fix, but can see why it's an absolute pain to replace .
There 1 for the intake. 1 for the exhaust and 1 for the lock solenoid. That’s why there’s only 3.
Thanks for the information

I think I charged $160 and I remember thinking that's definitely not enough for this job lol

Hi i got same problem how much it will cost to have a idea to fix it ..time and parts?
So this car with 60k miles is not under factory warranty ?
No I think 30k is original warranty and it's past the warranty date also
How many hours repair time?
I hate working on Rogues. Everything seems to be behind everything.
Yeah they suck. Seems like all nissans are like that
3 VVT Solenoids in an inline 4 engine??? My FWD VQ35DE has only 2 VVT Solenoids, one for each Bank... 🤯

We'll it's been over a year and the customer said that code never came back 👍
what app you using to diagnose?
It's not a app, it's a actually car scanner, it costed me about $700
What's the site for NTK parts ? Thanx for your input.
I ordered my parts from rockauto
