- In this video we show you how to properly diagnose a P0456 code on your Nissan Rogue and properly fix your issue. This diagnostics will work on all other vehicles with this code also. Good luck!
Not only eased for us to follow, the camera and lighting you cared to use provided full clarity right there with dark cavities around it, something I miss all the time with so many videos like these, thanking you very much
No problem and thank you very much for watching!
Had the same code on my rogue and it was the vent control valve, which was an easy fix.
I’m glad it worked out for you!
Thanks
Thanks bud great help see ya on next one
Thanks for watching glad I could help!
Thanks! Great video
Thank you. i have the same code on my car with po443 and po444
No problem glad to help!
Thanks brother
Hey great vid. On a scale of 1-5 with being difficult , what would you rate this?
Hey thank you! I would rate this job a 1 out of 5. Very easy job as long as you have a safe way to lift the car up in the air to get underneath it. Good luck

One think I forgot to ask. The new valve that I purchased has a cover to conceal where the valve opens and closes. In your video it has it exposed. I assume you just took it off to show it in the video or is it supposed to come off?
@SolidNashNYC that is suppose to be open it might have a cover on it so debris doesn’t get into it but I would take that off.
Just noticed that I purchased a different valve. The one I have is the canister purge valve which is located in the engine bay. Guess I’ll return it and purchase the one you have in the video. The one I currently purchased looks completely different but that’s what AutoZone sold me when they plugged in their scanner and it popped up the error code.
Thanks bud
No problem 👍
Thank you
You're welcome
Excellent method 😢
Hello, great vid! I changed the solenoid valve exactly like this and im still getting the error code, I've checked the other under the hood too, and cant seem to fix the issue, any ideas?
Did you make sure it sealed properly? If your solenoids are good then you probably have a leak in the evap system somewhere and you’ll have to get it smoke tested.
@@acetechauto7 Yeah I tried to blow through it and it solid, must be a problem elsewhere.. I guess its a good shout to get it tested more thoroughly, Ive done all I can do now. Thanks for the quick reply! much appreciated
@MrTwista91 no problem hopefully you can get to the bottom of it. Wish you luck!
@@MrTwista91did you get this solved? What was the issue?
@@desr924 yeah it was just the solenoid in the end. Super cheap and easy fix. Found one on Amazon for around 15$
Just took a couple days for the error message to clear. Good luck!
Thanks 👍
No problem!
You have a link for buying the valve online, and how it's is call
This is the canister purge valve. I don’t have a link as the part we used is the original one from the dealer. If you’re looking for aftermarket you can look up the part number in the video online.
Excellent demonstrations. What a poor place to put the canister. smh
Very horrible place to put it. Just a matter of time before they all go out
Ещё бы перевести......такая же ошибка на Роге.....
Я так и не понял-нужно заменить датчик?
What the part called.
Is the part the same for Nissan Altima 2010
Can Blue driver turn on and off power to the valve?
The part is called the canister vent valve and the Altima has one too but it’ll be a different part number. The blue driver won’t be able to communicate with the valve so you’ll have to manually test it as shown at the end of the video.
❤
Hello! My car was giving us that code and charged even the pump because we ear a noise like sucking gas hard but not sure.
And the noise still there any suggestions??
You shouldn’t hear any noise back there unless you’re hearing the fuel pump running when the car is on
@@acetechauto7 the noise still there we change the canister purge and nothing I feel very desperate at this point 😖😫 noise is like sucking was coming from the bottom of the car and my car shakes almost to the point of shutting off.
@user-ki1rb6vx7m I would take it in to a shop then because I wouldn’t be able to tell you what’s wrong without seeing it 🤷♂️
