Dan sounds like the kinda dad everyone deserves. He's even being a good granddad by willing to give Prisma's ex the chance to earn a place in her son's life as his dad. I'm sure he's emotional, but the way he's treating the case very rationally & not letting blind emotion control how he takes in & pursues information. That's exactly what Prisma needs, & not a lot of loved ones are capable of it--I sure as heck know I wouldn't be. I wasn't sure about y'all's true crime videos at first, but their production value & the care behind them has become top notch. The interviews especially.

Am I the only one who noticed when Dan was talking about Prizma and he said "she WAS a very outgoing..."and at this point he stops himself and goes back to change his statement to say "she IS a very outgoing individual." Why did he feel the need to quickly change that WAS to an IS? And why did he say WAS in the first place? If he has any belief that she may be found alive and well his statement would have automatically came out as an IS. But the fact that he said WAS first makes it look like he knows something and realized his mistake and quickly backpedaled to change it and hope that nobody noticed. I noticed!! Maybe Dan jumped at a perfect opportunity to set up a Ryan. Now I'm not saying I'm right but hearing it just immediately put that question in my head and I think it's worth looking into. The time stamp is between 10:40 and 11:00 in this video. Go back there and listen to what I'm talking about.

@@oofgod3092 - Nah, it is suspicious. I think I even saw it in a JCS video where the suspect said that and the narrator mentioned how the past tense got the detective to smell blood, then the detective pushed the suspect on that claim and eventually got him to confess. These freudian slips and misspeaking can be extremely suspicious, and can signal to police that someone may know something.
This case may not be like that, but you're saying it's not anything suspicious seems to point that using past tense for a missing person shouldn't be considered evidence of someone hiding something, but that simply isn't true.

    @BB-qv1vg 3 роки тому +744

There's something wrong with this whole thing. Either there's a lot being glossed over or carelessly edited out, or the whole thing is just fishy. For instance, Prisma is clearly drunk in the CCTV footage outside of Ryan's apartment. Of course she is, she's been at a bar drinking all afternoon. So why then is the Dad describing her only as being seemingly agitated in that footage? I mean you clearly see the girl stumble as she approaches the elevator. She's also just spoken to her babysitter on the phone for an hour, 50min longer than they normally would, only it was commented by the babysitter to be a quite normal conversation about her job. Nonsense. It couldn't have been, she would have been steaming dunk throughout the entire call.
She's also allegedly just had an incident where she drew her gun on some people. She's ex-military, she would know better than to be waving a firearm around. Why aren't the people who had the gun pulled on them being questioned?
To note the firearm itself, it's said that it was a rather recent purchase because she had apparently felt threatened due to being followed, possibly stalked. That line of thinking is curiously stopped there with no further attention payed to it. However, very late in the program it's mentioned, extremely briefly and not expanded on at all, that she had also been working as an exotic dancer. Why would the investigator and the Dad dismiss this detail as if it's not worth mentioning at all?
And finally, I couldn't understand why the Dad would say something like "well if she was going to kill herself then she had the gun right there to do it with and she knows how to use it, so no, she didn't kill herself." or something to that effect. I mean who speaks of their daughter like that? It's just odd.
I've never watched one of these and felt there was something wrong with the whole thing, right down to the investigation itself. I dunno... something's just not right.

I agree something seems off. The babysitter said the 50 minute phone call was normal, but immediately reported her missing to the police instead of trying to contact Prisma's family. I think something happened in the phone call and the babysitter is keeping quiet about it. I also find it off they didn't investigate her being an exotic dancer and it was only brought up casually. I know a dancer who was stalked and harassed by a client who visited their club. This is common. I find the stepdad in general... off. Also, the FBI usually only works on missing persons cases if a federal crime occurred or if the missing individual was believed to have crossed state lines. So, why would they be involved off the bat? The theory of Prisma and the other missing women in the area being connected could have a basis if the FBI is involved. Overall, its really sad a young boy has to grow without his mother or closure if this case remains unsolved.

yeah like the fact that the FBI would do a full scale search BEFORE even 48 hours have passed? Most law enforcement won't even let you report someone missing unless its been like more than three days. The Sitter is in on it. She was suppose to pick up her son at 430 and when she didn't come INSTEAD OF CALLING PRISMA'S DAD or any family member for that matter, she goes straight to the cops at 9pm (only missing for 5 hours??) and successfully reports her missing and they bring in the FBI within a couple hours, I mean what the flying fuck?? Did she know government secrets or something? That simply doesn't happen. I spend all my free time watching missing persons and crime stories, I have never in a billion years heard of the FBI going full scale when a Joe Schmo has been missing for 5 hours. Even in murder cases FBI won't typically come in ( in most cases) unless it was on some kind of federal jurisdiction maybe federal property or across state lines or something like that. 1. I saw an interview with the babysitter and she appears to be in her 50s.
    2. If she was ruffied...how did she drive and how was she able to sit at a bar drinking more after 3 hours?
    3. Unless someone waited for her to come outside for 3 hours how would anyone follow her?
    What do I think happened?
I think Prisma met her ex who manipulated her many times before into doing things for him and he was in disguise using a fake name so he had bad motives.
I think they met because she found out that she was pregnant and said it was his kid but he denied it and didn't want anything to do with her because he had another woman he was more loyal to.
She called the babysitter to vent and was depressed drinking her problems away.
I believe that when Ryan left he made plans to have Prisma murdered. She knew too much about him and she was carrying his child. I think he paid someone to go pick her up at his apartment complex while he was out of town with an alibi and told Prisma that one of his friends would come pick her up. They got her...left the complex and killed her.

For an hour long video, I feel that too many questions were not asked or answered and that the video narrative did not make sense.
The bartender cut her off is said early on in the video. Now I've never been in a bar, but I assume they felt she was too drunk already.
Later in the video it is said 'she was acting weird like she was on a drug.'
Make up your mind. Was she drunk or wasn't she?
Friend on phone says she was irritable. Later on dad says he doesnt understand why she seemed irritable.
So yeah... narrative's not gr8 on this one.
Here are the very basics that will help us
    1. She stripped? She's more high risk.
    2. Is it common behaviour for her to blow off work?
    3. Is it baseline behaviour to drink in the middle of the day?
    4. What is her alcohol tolerance like? (Ask friends, not family) How much did she have day of?
    5. Did the search the hotel/apt complex well??? (Remember that drunk girl that locked herself in a freezer?)
    6. Was she on medication?
    7. Was there a difference in her baseline behaviour before the disappearance,m
    So many more questions....
    Sigh.
Ps. In future when putting a detective's nr in a video on the internet - maybe just specify only people with actual concrete information should call. Now he's going to get 'tips' from armchair detectives who think they figured it out based on a YT video. And that just wastes time.

She prolly knew or was dealing w some very sketchy ppl, then wanted to change her life around got a new job bu they didnt want her to leave n since she prolly knew too much or they jus didnt want her to leave they started by stalking her, drugging her while at a bar, then either kidnapping her n selling her into sex trafficking or killed her. Someone (possibly a neighbor) mentioned her crying at Ryan's apartment in the parking garage standing next to a silver car that had their trunk open? Watching this footage there's a silver car parked outside the bar. Was this person at the bar perhaps? Maybe did put something in her drink? Her agitation after leaving the bar was maybe both not understanding why she was feeling how she was and also Ryan fighting with her trying to get her to go back to his apartment knowing she was under the influence but she knew she had to go back to work..Finally he persuades her to go to his apartment only he's not there but whoever owns this silver car was waiting instead? The trunk was open bc she was shoved into it? And that's why there's no other cctv of her leaving his building. Idk but it's plausible. Who owns the silver car??

    • @commonsense5188
      @commonsense5188 2 роки тому +16

The mention of a silver car with the trunk open, with her standing next it crying struck me as odd as well. I find it hard she merely stumbled away under the influence of something and just so happened to dodge all security cameras. She was of sound mind, at least enough to realize she could park her jeep across the street from the gate, and wait till a car goes through to run in behind it. But yet, she left without being seen on cameras and never returned to the jeep? She was nabbed in that parking garage and the silver car with the trunk open is mighty suspicious.

Why? So I feel like the only one with this opinion. Born in Mexico. US Army veteran. Left being a paralegal to be a receiptist at a car dealership. Not this video, but another one I watched before said she never missed work. Yet, she goes to lunch one day and never comes back? Ahe goes to a bar and drinks during the middle of the day. Almost like, her "Job" was done.........I think it was. I think she was working or working for the FBI. That would explain why they got involved.
Ask yourself this. Out of the hundreds of thousand missing persons stories. Getting responses of "It has to be 24 hours" or "The last person seeing them has to file the report" how many others besides this one have you heard Law Enforcement with the FBI involved informing the family their daughter was missing before the family knew it. "The, at first, Helpful Babysitter," I believe, was told by authorities, "NOT to speak publicly pr to the family." I do believe Ryan said his name was Matt. I believe she was drugged at the bar. I just think him being there at the time was just a coincidence. Actually, I think she was drugged after he left. Yet nothing to do with who or what she was doing. It's just a wrong place at the wrong time thing. I think she did miscall the wrong guy thinking it was Ryan. But at this point, she was completely out of it.
Now, stay with me: she believed (and I do too) she was being followed. Something happened to spark the road rage innocent. She was drugged, It's not farfetched to believe her life was in danger. Thus she go out with her gun. I believe at that point she knew she had been drugged and decided to go to "X" for help and realiz9ng she wasn't going to make it turned and went to the closest place she knew.....aka Ryan's apartment. She didn't fear Ryan, or she would have taken her gun with her and not left it in the car. I believe she either was grabbed in the garage or made it into the apartment building. Where either the stalker or, yet another screwed up coincidence, someone random grabbed her.
All these things are speculative and subjective. Besides the police notifying the family and not the other way around. One other detail jumps out at me. If you accept, she was never late to work, and didn't return to work, and her "Coworkers" or boss didn't sound the alarm bells...........Try finding on by research, What the name of the dealership was she worked for. I've been looking for 3 or 4 years. As far as I can tell, it's never mentioned.
This part is an even further leap for me. She broke up with Ryan but kept him around? I bet a dollar. He had a problem with someone she worked with, and she would not quit that job. She couldn't tell him why, either. So, He walked!
Lastly, "She possibly made other calls"?!?!?!? They absolutely know if she made other calls. I submit she did, to her handlers, and told them she had been drugged, and before they got their she was gone. Which would explain the first question law enforcement asked her family, "When is the last time you spoke with her." Then they informed them."She was missing. " Also, she obviously trusted her babysitter. I think the reason for the unusually long phone call was that what she had been doing was over. She no longer had to keep people away from her personal life and was reaching out to her for the first time.
Now, let me explain my comment about her making it into the apartment building. In the other video, the one that stated she had never missed work. It also mentioned the guy who lived across the hall from Ryan, (apparently the "Person" barely mentioned in this video who said they saw her crying at the elevator) said she was sitting infornt of Ryan's door crying in the other video. He said, she asked if she could come in and use his bathroom. "He let her. And she left".......he was a person of interest, for two reasons. 1) he was the last person who saw her. (By his account) and 2) he was seen on garage video acting strangely doing something in his truck. They could not make it out. The camera angle was over and in front of his his car, not behind, and could not see into his truck. However, no evidence was found, and the Cadaver Dog didn't alert to it.......which just means she wasn't dead.

It amazes me that they mention she was working as an exotic dancer towards the end like it's an after thought and barely important. That changes everything. Multiple men in her life, men paying for jeeps, older men, she was likely doing escort work. Which changes a lot. I get you want to make the victim out to be perfect but it doesn't help to keep that stuff hidden. If she was an exotic dancer... That's an entire life style for most.

My Thoughts/Opinion Based on What We Know.. I’m sure LE has a ton of info nobody knows about…
    1. Ryan has to be #1 suspect on almost everyone’s list. Just had lunch w/ her, left her, suddenly turned around to head to him, his apartment, shady “out of town” alibi, moved out soon after search of apartment…
    2. Not sure if Babysitter is directly involved, but I believe she knows a lot. Watches her Son almost everyday, talks to Prisma almost everyday for small amounts of time, suddenly that day they talk for an hour, she’s the one that quickly reports her missing, suddenly changes her number & will no longer speak to anyone. I think maybe Prisma vented to her that day about things going on & whoever did this, somehow told the Babysitter to end the talking, otherwise she’d meet the same fate…
    3. I could be wrong, but I don’t think the car owner is involved. Considering she may have only met him 3-4 times, she’s a dancer & possibly an escort, I believe that guy was her “Sugar Daddy”. Married for 10 years, meet me when I need you, I’ll give you money, cars, bags, etc…
    4. Considering the bartender cut her off, along w/ her possibly getting into an argument w/ Ryan, her getting out of the car w/ the gun in broad daylight, wobbling a little in the final video, said to be seen crying, may just be a mix of being hammered & angry. Me & my friends did a good deal of drinking & I’d say I’m a very happy drunk 99% of the time.. but everyone’s had a time where they’re drunk & something happens that sets them off uncontrollably. I don’t have a temper, I don’t yell, none of that… but I’ve had 1 or 2 times where I drank a lot, was fine & something happened that made me extremely angry & nobody could say anything to me that would matter at the time. If I were sober, I prob wouldn’t have thought twice about it lol.. She was known to have a temper, so it’s very easy to see something like that happening to her, esp if she’s not a big drinker..
    4. I know drugs were mentioned, but could mental health be a possibility at all? Bought a gun cause she felt like she was being followed or stalked. Everyone said she acted out of character that day, so could it be possible that she was having some type of mental episode that made her think things were happening that weren’t? Made her angry, scared, upset… Possibly wondered off, off camera, not even remembering her car or maybe who she even is. Remember, I think it was the car owner that said, he was on the phone w/ her in that final video & she was calling him Ryan & saying things that didn’t make sense. I could be way off, but just a possible thought. I think it’s clear that either alcohol, drugs and/or mental health played a major role in her actions that day. Not sure what happened after that though… 🤷‍♂️ Possibly Ryan doing something because she was acting out & he’s a POS.. 🤷‍♂️ Who Knows.. I’ve realized in all of this True Crime that I binge watch, many ppl who are ex-military, have serious mental health issues that they didn’t have beforehand..
    5. It’s very clear that something negative was happening in her life in those final months. She was a very smart, reliable, hard working, was in the military, son was her #1 priority.. So, she had some very strong positive qualities. Why would someone like that, suddenly quit a prominent job, that she must’ve busted her ass to get & suddenly buy a gun, work at a used car dealership, start exotic dancing & possibly escorting. (Only mentioning escorting because either her Step-Father or Arturo did in this video or the update video).. Either her life was at risk for some reason or these jobs possibly put her life at risk. Doesn’t make sense for somebody with those strong qualities, to risk her life, ESP w/ her son.. There’s obviously something major that we know nothing about, that would prob explain a lot…
Sorry for the novel, just some of the things I was thinking as I watched… Video was very well done & could be a major factor in solving this case!

Ryan was waiting for her, maybe walked through a stairway? Did police ever check inside ryans apt. Before he moved out? Any footage of him going to his car and putting a body in the trunk? @@meganb3448 Let's keep it real.. Of course it says something about her character. I still feel bad for her though. ☮

Ryan probably switched to a silver car and told her to get in and put her in the trunk, that’s why she wasn’t found in the apartment. And he drove with her across country but it’s so odd how fully involved the cops were at first for a missing person..and the babysitter was on the phone with her for 50 minutes that day!!! This is the most bizarre story I’ve heard, makes my heart hurt for her. I pray she is found safe with a healthy strong mind one day, my condolences to her family…
