very informative video.....Question as follows Can I use this technique/process for automotive upholstery? I would consider this on a pair of bucket seats that came equipped in my 1983 Ford E350 Econoline van.The material on the seats is a green velour that I would like to convert/paint to some shade of medium to dark brown. I’ve never done that but I don’t know why you couldn’t! Would put an extra coat of wax sealer on it!
I’m painting a kids toy bench and have painted the fabric with DB I want to paint an octopus on it now.?should I do the octopus after the best dang wax. Or before?
Before! Sand before you paint your octopus and then apply your BDW!
How long should the wax cure before sitting on it? Just one coat of wax?
I would do 2 coats and wait 2-3 days

I don’t personally think it does at all

As long as you sand in between coats and wax well, the fabric will be soft. Now painting fabric will change the feel slightly, but it’s not stiff or crunchy
If I paint clothing, how does it stand up to washing?
I’ve never personally washed fabric that was painted, but I would say to let it cure in the sun and when it needs washed, hand wash only

@@lisabell9021 mainly, yes. But Dixie Belle Paint has so many unique uses, including fabric painting!
