Thanks for showing your method. So it's an undercoat? Before using D B's paints.👍✨️

The Slick Stick is for adherence when you’re painting a super slick surface like glass, metal, certain veneer. BOSS is for any bleed through or odor. You don’t need the primers all the time. It depends on the piece 😊

hi, I just found your channel. My husband is going to be using Wise owl enamel in Inkwell, which is a navy color. Where in the process of waiting a few more hours after using Dixie Bell boss as the primer. The piece is a medium colored wood. My question is when he purchased the primer from our local store she told him to what primer he needed and handed him the product. As he was applying it, he said, why is it not white? We looked at the bottle and she sold him the clear. In my research this morning discovering that it’s stating in everything that I find that you should always use white when painting a darker color or a gray. So now we’re concerned that we’ve wasted our money in our time. Can you please share your thoughts if we should go back and get a darker primer or proceed with painting. We are under time constraints as we are trying to get this room put back together.

    Laminate surface?

With laminate, you can try a scoff sand and clean with white lightning…but I will typically just apply a coat of slick stick for adhesion
