    this guy is taliing about lean protein soucres which do not have considerate amounts of fats and carbs, people here in the comments yapping that this guy doesn't promote vegetarianism and others have better physique than him even being vegetarian, but this person is correct, daal is more of a carbohydrate source than a protein source, and a cup of liquid daal hardly has 5g protein, even peanut butters are almost 40-50% fat. low fat dairy is better but still has considerable amounts of carbohydrates, so supplements are the best lean protein sources for vegetarians

    I used to eat too much non-veg (Chicken & Eggs).
    Over time my body started rejecting non-veg food. I started getting internal bleeding.
    I had to stop eating non-veg food.
    But I have managed well with whey protein and other vegetarian sources like lentils, panner and soy chunks etc.

    He is actually right. Vegetarian diet actually lacks a lot of protein and amino acids as compared non vegetarian diet. In vegetarian diet only thing that is actually worthy eating is leafy green vegetables they are packed with potassium, calcium, iron and all. And if you want protein from vegetarian diet you will have to consume huge amounts of vegetarian protein sources like Dal but that will also adds up with huge amounts of carbs. But if you eat 2 red meat only once a day with leafy vegetables as salad there you will get your complete diet. Add 5 eggs for omega 3 fatty acids.

    I am doing for 100 gm
    low fat panner: 14-15g
    normal paneer: 20gm
    soya chunks or granules similar :48-50g but 100g is too much in quantity you have to eat multiple times in a day and then you will be unable to complete whole diet
    parmesian cheese : 100 gm price is 250-300 rupees for 38 gm protein
    Protein bar are expensive too.
    whey protein are expensive too you can't use it as diet main part that's why it is called supplement.
    Greek yogurt: 10gm protein
    soya milk its 5x the price of cow milk and 100ml has 3-4g protein

    I got to have tofu recently and it had 3 grams fat and 7 gm carbs and 14 grams protein in 100 grams total 115 calories only..I found it really good and use it on those days when I couldn't consume non veg food....

Guys don't get influenced by these people. Our vegetarian diet is best. It's just that with our traditional diet it's hard to reach a lean muscular physique but atleast it's healthy and sustainable. I understand that our traditional diet focuses more on carbs and fats but you can eventually burn that with regular exercises. Our pehelwans had higher strength than these lean and muscular bodybuilders. Our pehelwans use to put in tremendous amount of hard work to maintain that body for years, not like today's 3-4 months transformation journey. 😂😂

    Sabse pehle toh leanest form of protein kuch nahi hota. Protein protein hota hai. Haan different proteins me different amino profiles hote hain. Coming back to the answer to the question, Soy chunks at 56% and Whey protein Isolate at about 80% to 90% depending on the extraction are far above the protein percentage in any form of meat. And there’s a kind of algi found in the oceans which is mostly all protein too. They are not the leanest vegetarian but overall sources of protein. Any meat stripped off the fats give you roughly about 25% of protein. When eaten as a whole, it’s roughly around the 15% to 20% range depending on the type of animal. Many vegetables have more percentage value of protein per calorie than meat. And lentils come with one of the most optimal macro ratios that is roughly 20% protein, 55% carbs and 25% fats. And in relation to calories most vegetables have higher protein percentage than meat. Meat is considered a great source of protein because you can easily separate the protein rich part and also it has all the amino acids in it plus some vital minerals. It sounds more like a taunt than any form of guidance.
