Today's world is all about aesthetics. Some people are highly obsessed with high protein diet. Had their been a way to eat only protein they would have ran for it. Guys don't get influenced by these people. Our vegetarian diet is best. It's just that with our traditional diet it's hard to reach a lean muscular physique but atleast it's healthy and sustainable. I understand that our traditional diet focuses more on carbs and fats but you can eventually burn that with regular exercises. Soyabeans is exceptional but it's not a complete protein source and it causes side effects in men especially when eaten on a large quantities.
I used to eat too much non-veg (Chicken & Eggs).
Over time my body started rejecting non-veg food. I started getting internal bleeding.
I had to stop eating non-veg food.
But I have managed well with whey protein and other vegetarian sources like lentils, panner and soy chunks etc.
Same for Virat Kohli..he had pain in his shoulder..so dietarian suggested to leave red meat and now he is fit and fine..

He is actually right. Vegetarian diet actually lacks a lot of protein and amino acids as compared non vegetarian diet. In vegetarian diet only thing that is actually worthy eating is leafy green vegetables they are packed with potassium, calcium, iron and all. And if you want protein from vegetarian diet you will have to consume huge amounts of vegetarian protein sources like Dal but that will also adds up with huge amounts of carbs. But if you eat 2 red meat only once a day with leafy vegetables as salad there you will get your complete diet. Add 5 eggs for omega 3 fatty acids.

I got to have tofu recently and it had 3 grams fat and 7 gm carbs and 14 grams protein in 100 grams total 115 calories only..I found it really good and use it on those days when I couldn't consume non veg food....

Today's world is all about aesthetics. Some people are highly obsessed with high protein diet. Had their been a way to eat only protein they would have ran for it. Guys don't get influenced by these people. Our vegetarian diet is best. It's just that with our traditional diet it's hard to reach a lean muscular physique but atleast it's healthy and sustainable. I understand that our traditional diet focuses more on carbs and fats but you can eventually burn that with regular exercises. Our pehelwans had higher strength than these lean and muscular bodybuilders. Our pehelwans use to put in tremendous amount of hard work to maintain that body for years, not like today's 3-4 months transformation journey. 😂😂

Coming back to the answer to the question, Soy chunks at 56% and Whey protein Isolate at about 80% to 90% depending on the extraction are far above the protein percentage in any form of meat.
