“Haunted house trying to escape from the DMZ” you’re just asking for the gift
Oh Kim!
I’m glad you like my time in the company. Disney wouldn’t be what it is today if it wasn’t for me
I 100% agree with you Mr. Eisner. Who knows, maybe the company will bring you back eventually when Iger and Chapek call it quits.
Wow! I made it into your Q&A, thank you for the great response!
To answer your question I'm in my mid 20s and still have my season passes from 1999 to 2008. I went almost every day, if even just to ride the train around once (I was less than 1 mile away) and would watch the fireworks from my bedroom window. Your response was actually very reassuring, and the part about how Walt would rather have us remember what made our time in the park special rather than worry about the future really spoke to me.
I sincerely thank you for answering my question, I'd love to hear more about how you remember universal studios Florida vs how it is now. While it is a shame that it doesn't feel the same in parts of the park, at least I can always count on the haunted mansion, the enchanted tiki room, and Indiana jones for my nostalgia fix (too bad they changed pirates so much since the movies came out). You made my day! :)
My question was answered! I really hope you cover BTMR as that's my favorite ride too
It's definitely going to be covered, way over due for its own video!
Personally, my favorite coaster in the whole world is the Rip Ride Rockit, sorry that you had a bad time on the ride. It’s awesome!
It's not a bad coaster but I've never had a great time on it. I know they've tried to fix the issues and even order new trains but it just feels so rough at times. Also not a big fan of the seat restraints, I know it's suppose to give you more freedom to move but I hate sitting in what's like a huge car seat lol.
Theme Park History oh. Well, I don’t really mind the seats. In fact, the seats actually give me room to put my hands up during the ride. And the ride seems pretty smooth to me. It’s probably just G-force.
Thanks for using my question! Great content from Jack and hope more success comes your way. 👍🏻 Still waiting on a Poseidon’s Fury video. You made the RIGHT decision in covering Universal/Disney attractions. Alien Encounter is probably my earliest WDW memory and it was pure terror.
I agree, the majority of theme park goers dont care about Kingdom Hearts. However with that said, as a diehard theme park nerd and a huge fan of Final Fantasy, id LOVE to see Final Fantasy characters in a Disney ride. Never actually played the Kingdom Hearts games, but id still love to see a dark ride made out of it. Also, my biggest dream ride for Nintendoland would be a Metroid dark ride that was done in the style of Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin or Men In Black. God, how awesome would it be to be shooting at Space pirates while taking an omnimover through Zebes? Please Universal Creative, PUT METROID IN NINTENDOLAND!!!!
C’mon brother, SciFi Dine-In’s at Studios not MK.... However, the channel’s “Theme Park History,” and not restaurant history so I get it! 😂😂 Great content, love the channel, keep up the good work, and I look forward to the future!
What gundam series would be a perfect ride (if you know what gundam is)
Gundam Build Fighters - Guests can build their own Gundam and pilot their own suit for the attraction.
Can you do Jaws or cobra’s curse at Busch gardens
I think the perfect IP for Universal can cash grab onto is WWE. Just renovate and re-theme it from Marvel and let Disney have total control of Marvel.
Can you do toy story midway mania please since toy story 4 came out.
Toy Story: Midway Mania has been added to the list, thank you for the suggestions Jose!
Nice
*NICE*
will you be covering the history of shrek 4-D?
Yes! It's part of our Year Three lineup.
You know this is a good Q&A when its over 1 hour long
Original cut when I recorded it had it going over two hours and over 100 questions. We cut it down because obviously nobody wants to watch/listen to a two hour video and some of the questions we answered we similar to other ones.
@@ThemeParkHistory wow thats alot of questions

Michael Eisner and Kim Jong-un? Wow what an honor
High praise from some powerful people.
I miss the Travel Channel BTS shows. I’d be hook every time it came on
It's a shame there's not newer shows like that on TV anymore, even trying to find the older ones are a pain since they were never sold to the public (as far as I can find).
Before the internet the shows were the real way to sell people to come to the parks, it was a really cool mix of promotion and behind the scenes looks.
Here are my ideas for what might Nintendo attractions be:
Star Fox: Star Tours
Metroid: Transformers/Spider-Man
Pokemon: Indiana Jones
Luigi's Mansion: Haunted Mansion/shooting ride or Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Kirby: Harry Potter (Hogwarts)
Legend of Zelda: Revenge of the Mummy
The creator of Kirby and Super Smash Bros, Masahiro Sakurai did mentioned that he wants a Super Smash Bros area in Super Nintendo World
a suggestion for your next video, Mystery Mine at Dollywood, Pigeon Forge!
It's been added to the list, thank you for the suggestion Emma!
Brilliant video, some great questions and very informative and interesting answers. everytime i watch your videos i have great memories of my last trip to orlando in 2010, it makes me want to go back again and see everything thats new.
How tall are you?
6 feet tall.
Thanks for answering my question, even if it was brief. I enjoy all 3 coasters for their different and unique experiences, although RRR gives me back pains after a few rides.
Bring back Jack! Let him run the show. #bringbackjack
I also want a Star Fox ride in Super Nintendo Land!
I love Disney+ too, but my only letdown is the absence of 101 Dalmatian Street, which Disney promised us would be on the service, and they still haven’t said anything about when we’re getting it yet!
Also, you owned MC Kids? Kudos to you for that! (I know that sounds a little strange, but yeah.)
42:59 YESSSS TPH ANSWERED MY QUESTION!!!
You asked and we answered (as best as we possibly could)!
Thank you for the question Carlos!
thank you for including my comment. sos if its a weird one (the half life one)
Thanks for asking! Nothing weird about your questions, really looking forward to Half Life. It's been WAY too long without a new game.
I love that your favorite video to make was MiB!
What Universal Property would be good for a Themed Land and why? Personally, if we are talking about just IP’s in general that aren’t specifically owned by Universal, I would love to see Woody Woodpecker’s Kid zone (excluding E.T obviously) get replaced with a land dedicated to “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” I know the series has just ended, but the fan base is still going strong, and I think that property has a very creative mythology and world building that kids and adults can enjoy, and I also think the characters in that show are so likable that they are pretty much on par with Disney. Plus it is still making a GOOD chunk of money even today, so major points for merchandising and marketing Universal....
I would also love for the main flagship attraction of the “MLP” land be a trackless dark ride/walk-through Adventure (similar to “Rise of Resistance”) where you join the main 6 on a climatic battle with one (or more) of the major villains from the show, as if you are living in a series finale episode of FIM.
What do you think?
What if there is a Pokemon anime where Ash and all his friends are taking a vacation at Universal Studios? They can ride attractions such as Jurassic Park/World, Revenge of the Mummy, Transformers, and Harry Potter. While in there, they can check out their section at Super Nintendo World.
(Including Misty, Brock, Tracey, May, Max, Dawn, Iris, Cilan, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Lillie, Kiawe, Mallow, Lana, Sophocles, and his new companion from the new anime)
I wish I could’ve rode kongfrontation and Back to the future but I’m happy I at least got to ride jaws once when I was seven or nine. My favorite ride of all time at Universal is E.T Can’t wait for more videos😎
Could you do pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland please 🙏
Eventually! Problem with POTC is that you have to talk about ALL the attractions so a video like that would be longer to work on.
Thanks for responding to my comment!
Thank you for asking Tyler!

I completely agree about Gringotts being overrated. Forbidden Journey at least has the giant props to go along with the screens, to really immerse you in the ride. Gringotts teases you with a coaster drop and then just spins you like a pinball between screens.
Disney should create Dark Kingdom - dedicated to all the villains!!!! THAT would be awesome!
I think the universal monsters will be amazing at epic universe that's definitely my most anticipated land even more so than nintendo and will probably be my favorite land in any park
I’d love to see your wrestling channel take off! maybe consider revisiting that?
Yea big thunder mountain that’s my favorite ride at the Disney parks 👍😁
Theme park history should be the voice of the theme parks Hollywood and Orlando Universal parks
Can you do a theme park history on muppet vision 3D or it’s tough to be a bug
Great vid as always, very interesting, thank you! 🙂
Edit: and All The Right Reasons by Nickelback really is one of my all time favourite rock albums 🙈
No problem Jeremy! And don't worry about my taste in music, it's pretty terrible. I picked that album because of Photograph and all the memes that went with it.
I made it through all of the video! Happy New Year!!!
Thanks for watching or pretty much listening to the video Austin!
I ask every UA-camr the same question, I'm glad you answered it, thanks.
Thanks for asking Chris!
Yay you answered my question at 1:03:30. I agree I’m enjoying the variety and think the “war” is ridiculous
Oh yeah and that’s the best answer I’ve gotten to that question. Thank you for the recommendations too
Came for the Q&A, stayed for the OSW & Wrestling With Wregret plugs!
Hard to find 2 better wrestling UA-cam channels
thanks for answering my question.
As a fan (and former TM) of UO, I love your Universal focus, and of course the logo. But I am also glad to see Disney covered.
Thank you for answering my question I like it My Grandpa Thought it's The Best Ride Ever.
Hey it's Christian can you please cover the history of
Escape from the girttotts at universal FL.
What is your favorite universal Hollywood attraction from the 1990s into 1992
Got myself a cold mug of milk, pjs on and a video I have been wanting to watch.
Congrats on the 77K subscribers! Your videos are amazing!

Mandalorian is already in Galaxy Edge.
I'll let you find him
The “A” is slightly lowered.
Bruh, why you gotta tell me this: now I can't unsee it.
Alex Dilley Enjoy!!
@ThemeParkHistory What attractions are you most looking foward to experincing at Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens in florida?
Disney -> Galaxy's Edge and Pandora (wasn't able to visit AK when I was down there back in March)
Universal -> Hagrid's
Busch Gardens -> Iron Gwazi
You could start talking about manufacturers, e.g. Walt Disney Imagineering, Intamin, Vekoma, etc.
We have plans to eventually talk about parks/manufactures/people that are/were important to theme parks in general. Problem with those videos are figuring out how to keep them from getting boring real quick.
Would you look at that, I made it in. Great videos Jack.
Thank you for your question!
Well I missed this
That intro lol
We did a Smash intro for the 25K Q&A, so figure since we were doing it again we would ask CJ to help us out. Gotta keep the video game intros for any special videos.
Theme Park History The budget has increased with that cameo , look forward to more in the future
@@desiderium3243 Honestly it might be pass its meme potential but hiring the "attention gamers" guy might be next for us...
Theme Park History we need him to wear those overpriced Mickey ears I wore as a kid while doing the voice over
And could you answer: If they will ever add those canceled resorts to the Magic kingdom and if they would add more retro themeing ( like the canceled pop century)
Q: Has there been a super man ride at Universal Orlando? I saw a metropolis sight at the non fast pass line for Jimmy Fallon
There isn't a Superman ride at UO, I know the building you're talking about though: the Metropolis Tribune. I haven't seen anyone confirm it but it has to be a homage to Superman.
This would be a great live-stream
I'm terrible at streaming. The 50K livestream of Universal Studios Adventure went terrible (connection was lagging, I couldn't keep up with the chat and I was terrible at the game) so I've pretty much written off any livestreaming until I figure out how to without it being such a disaster.
Thanks for using my question!
Thank you for asking it!
Hey
What's up?
My name is Ryu Ruiz can you say it in your next vid
Radiator springs racers
I made it in! My question is at 1:01:48! Great job, Jack. I look forward to Year 3.
