Even after employee preview, everyone was asking if the ride could be turned into a Harry Potter attraction about the Knight Bus instead.
This hurts to watch. My first trip to Universal, I spent the whole day getting so hyped up for the B2TF ride as it was my favorite movie at the time. Come to find out at the end of the day when I FINALLY got to the area the ride was in to ride it.... after being unable to locate it by the markings on the map, we asked an employee.... it has closed for good the VERY DAY BEFORE I ARRIVED. My 13 year old self learned cynicism that day.
I was once in the Hollywood version of the attraction, so I knew what to expect from the Orlando one and I took my friend with me, who is a hardcore Fast and Furious fan and went to the attraction. When the ride ended I asked my friend, "Well, how did you like it?" And he was like, "That was absolute garbage. I'm going to forget that this is even someway related to Fast and Furious, heck! I'm going to forget that this even existed!" I laughed so hard when he said that with a dead inside look on his face.
I find it absolutely humorous that this ride has one of the largest queue buildings in the entire park, but because the ride would be lucky to get just one bus full of riders each day you barely even notice.

20:26 they did end up adding some interactivity to the queue later on. You can honk horns and take trivia and stuff. I've never done it tho, since I would have to open the app for it and I walk by the area too fast
I really love just how aggressive you got about this attraction. I really feel the anger. It’s deserved. Fuck this ride. Imagine if they’d used the rumored mario kart system? Imaging a attraction about a racing film be about racing
Im one lame @$$ dork and even I have to say, the "party" bus is one of the lamest things ever. I cringe for the people when I've seen them getting on the ride. 🤣
If I may paraphrase Dr. Forrester-- "It has nothing to do with Fast. It has nothing to do with Furious, or Supercharged. It has everything to do with HURTING."
Honestly I didn’t know what to expect when I first rode it, and I haven’t even watched the movies and I was disappointed. Honestly I hope Universal gets rid of it from the studio tour, as I think the final part of the tour should exciting, and not whatever supercharged is. Keep up the great work dude! I love to see your vids!
This... has to be the best video I’ve seen all year. I cannot express how much excitement I had when you shred this shit ride to pieces. I could feel your ANGERRR. I’d really like to see another rant video in the future cuz this one was just to funny afff 🤣
"I thought "Journey in your imagination" was bad, but this takes the cake" oooh shit.... but accurate. F&F is terribly themed snoozefest from start to finish.
Journey into imagination with figment is a nostalgia trip for me! I really hope that it gets some imagineering love in the future with the EPCOT revitalization!
A hybrid dueling dragons/rock n roller coaster type ride should have been the basis for a fast and furious ride. Have two coasters that “race” each other.
This ride had to have had the longest queue building I’ve ever been in. I went during a universal meet up so there were no lines and I was thinking does this ride really need this much space. I must have went through 3 warehouse sized rooms before I got to the loading stations and the track seemed to be nothing more than a big oval.
They were clearly anticipating the ride to be way more popular than it actually turned out to be. The only reason why anyone experienced it in Hollywood is because it's shoved down their throats in the tram tour. As a standalone attraction it falls flat on its face because everyone can just skip it.
When we went, a few months after it opened, there was NO LINE! The Universal cast member actually made fun of how terrible, and lame the ride was, and how disappointing it was, after all the hype!
The one for Dueling Dragons or (Hagrids Motorbike race is what it’s called now) was so long there wasn’t any line and it took me and my brother like 20 minutes to walk through all of it
This is one of your best videos! My fiancé and I absolutely hate this ride. In fact, we were just in Universal Orlando last week and the ride was closed. One guest walking by us said “Aww, it looks likes it’s closed” I turned around with all of the hate I can muster in my heart and said “Good! It should be closed because it sucks!”
That’s a tricky one I would choose superstar limo for 3 reasons. One I already rode f&f and I would want to ride limo because I never got to ride it. Two I would just want to laugh at how bizarre superstar limo is. And three I don’t want my eardrums to explode which is what fast and furious does to my poor ears. One time I warned my friend to cover his ears while we rode he didint listen and he regretted it and said you were right
Your profile picture of Nick Wilde perfectly describes my face after I got off this ride (and Skull Island: Reign of Kong as well). I hoped it wouldn't suck as much as people said it would--but, it did. So glad they recovered with Hagrid's Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure... The ride design team got their act back together.
When I first heard they were going to make a Fast and Furious ride, I was excited cause I thought they would make ride thst was like Test Track or Rockin Roller Coaster but once I saw the reveal and when I went on the ride, I was so disappointed with the story and style of the attraction. Two weeks ago Universal Roblox released their version of F&F and was like Rockin Rollar Coaster and it was so much better than the actual ride, the songs to the ride were also spot on cause of the songs that were used from the movies like Tokyo Drift, there’s a video of the Roblox version online, you should check it out, once my friend and I would not stop going on the fake version of F&F we both said to each other that Universal must change the ride
this was the last ride my sister’s husband worked on with universal creative before he passed away and he hated everything he had to work on that had to do with it. they really didn’t have much creative freedom and could only do what was instructed. :/
You hit the nail on the head...Universal could have bought an off-the-shelf rollercoaster and slapped the F&F name on it and it would have been better than this.
I’ll be honest, i forgot this attraction existed when I last went to universal. I stumbled upon it by pure accident. There was nothing outside that made me want to go on it, the building looked like a generic warehouse. I passed by the building 4 times before realizing that was the ride, it didn’t draw me in whatsoever
I rode this ride a year ago. The dude next to me was WAY to excited to be on this ride... He kept yelling "TOO FAST TOO FURIOUS", and even announced that he was obsessed with Vin Diesel and was his number one fan. He rushed up in front pushing everyone aside during the presenter part. When Ludacrious showed up he started to hyperventilate, and started yelling at the screen saying he was ready and that he drove a 2004 Honda Accord which made everyone really uncomfortable. This kept going on and when we actually got into the ride I was forced to sit next to him, when Vin Diesel showed up he was trying to grasp at him screaming "I'm ready I'm part of the family! pick me!", and even before that when you see that Vin Diesel car he literally almost jumped off the ride to get to the car, but I guess decided against it at the last moment as he faintly whispered "my accord is faster and more furious". Every time Vin Diesel said something about family he would tear up, and scream "I'm part of the family!". This dude was losing his shit during the actual ride part screaming and acting like the actors were in real danger yelling at them to watch out and even had his hands up like he was driving a imaginary steering wheel. At the end he literally lost it and started weeping when Vin Diesel thanked everyone. I swear it was the weirdest shit I've ever seen.
evan weiner YEAH! I wanna see that happen and as a replacement to that gosh-awful ride complete with a much better queue and pre-show and a gift shop for guests to exit into!
waited around 30 minutes for this ride, and even that short of a wait time couldn't save this ride. the ride itself was like 2 minutes, very boring, very loud for just no reason. quite possibly the worst attraction in the whole park. i feel terrible for the guest who waited possibly up to 2+ hours for this in the first opening months
I haven’t been on either version of this attraction but after watching this, I feel like I could maybe give Hollywood a slight pass on their usage of the tram, but if you’re going to have a giant screen like that, you should at least make the film look good but Florida, you have no excuse! A ride built from the ground up with no restrictions of having to use the tram vehicle should have been like Test Track/RSR or a roller coaster or even Lights, Motors Action. Heck, even if they did a BTTF or Star Tours ride system they could have had fun careening around corners, and making the car do a jump like in the first film. It seems as though the ride developers just didn’t care.
When Super Nintendo world opens, you should do an express episode on sonic spinball at Alton towers to fit with the video game theme park attraction theme.
I remember when it first opened in Florida. We waited about 2 hours in the rain and we were literally next in line an the ride broke down. We ended up waiting like another hour, I remember walking out of the ride after and saying wtf was that. an you could hear the disappointment in the crowd of people lmao
The moment I saw the RANT word in the title I was like "That's a first, but then again, jack has some damn good reasons to rant on this one." But hey the deed is done now. Let's just stick to the movies and nothing else.
Fun fact, they redid agent novak’s lines, but only redubbed, since it was filmed to be obvious what they are saying, it’s VERY obvious he isn’t mouthing what he’s saying
I didn't know if anyone has ever commented about this aspect of Fast & Furious: Supercharged; but on my recent ride through on the Hollywood version before the C-19 issue as of right now, I noticed that Agent Novak's voice was not only changed but also badly lip-synced. And I'm like; "What happened to Novak's voice? Did the original actor got into controversy?" As it turns out that the new Novak dialogue was actually from the Orlando version of Supercharged which for some reason Universal decided to transported here in Hollywood. Couldn't Universal leave the Hollywood Novak dialogues just as it and vice versa in the Orlando version? That way Novak's dialogue/lip-syncing wouldn't that distracting.
Bro for reals when I went on the ride in Hollywood I was like they did change the voice know it makes no sense cause he says “ Roman Pierce your under arrest “ and then Roman says “ do you no how long it took for me to iron the shirt “ and then he yells “ your under arrest right know “ it sounds terrable when it use to say “ Roman Pierce on the ground “ and then he says the iron shirt thing it makes more sense instead of how it is now
25:53 So, fun fact: this was the original concept for the attraction, but due to budgetary concerns brought upon mainly by Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and VelociCoaster, they scrapped their original plans and re-hired the same team that developed Skull Island: Reign of Kong to develop the ride system. That's still no excuse for how terrible the ride turned out, though.
I love how passionate you are about how badly this attraction sucks! I have no clue why universal thought a tram/bus attraction was an appropriate approach for a F&F ride
I've always thought of this as just another segment of the studio tour at Universal Hollywood, so I've never had a problem with it. I don't think I'd want to stand in line for an hour to get on if it were a stand alone ride, but its a decent ending to the studio tour. The only real issue I have with it at Hollywood is the tram drivers sometimes don't show the pre-show intro videos.
Disaster! was my first home at Universal before I moved into entertainment at Universal. When I saw that THIS is what they replaced it with...…….I threw up a little. Disaster! was by no means perfect, but at least it wasn't....this.
For me, the worst part isn’t even the ride the worst part is when they hit the nitro and that air blasts in your face and somehow never fails to rupture my eardrums every time I ride
This would have been a perfect opportunity to bring back the duelling coasters. One is Dom and the "family" the other is the Feds. Both with their own pre-show from that sides' perspective. Or even a two-track racing coaster with a street racing theme.

@@Afineaddition nah
It’s scary. Today at the park it was a 105 minute wait! That’s insane I feel bad for everyone waiting in line
"Bad viewers!" 😂 I'm so happy this happened.
DON'T EVEN SAY THAT ABOUT THE MARIO KART RIDE, WHAT IF IT ACTUALLY HAPPENS.

Im one lame @$$ dork and even I have to say, the "party" bus is one of the lamest things ever. I cringe for the people when I've seen them getting on the ride. 🤣
If I may paraphrase Dr. Forrester--
"It has nothing to do with Fast. It has nothing to do with Furious, or Supercharged. It has everything to do with HURTING."
Aren’t cars going fast? And also aren’t they fighting on fast cars?
Honestly I didn’t know what to expect when I first rode it, and I haven’t even watched the movies and I was disappointed. Honestly I hope Universal gets rid of it from the studio tour, as I think the final part of the tour should exciting, and not whatever supercharged is. Keep up the great work dude! I love to see your vids!
I kinda like it lol
This... has to be the best video I’ve seen all year. I cannot express how much excitement I had when you shred this shit ride to pieces. I could feel your ANGERRR. I’d really like to see another rant video in the future cuz this one was just to funny afff 🤣
Wait you enjoyed this guy rage over a theme park ride for no reason?
@@masonallen6752 Yeah this ride deserved it! And it was funny to watch.
Ladies and gentlemen...
We broke him.
"I thought "Journey in your imagination" was bad, but this takes the cake"
oooh shit.... but accurate. F&F is terribly themed snoozefest from start to finish.
That is a low blow saying f&f is worse the journey into your imagination but it is true
Journey into imagination with figment is a nostalgia trip for me! I really hope that it gets some imagineering love in the future with the EPCOT revitalization!
This was exactly what I needed it to be. A Theme Park AVGN episode!

@@mckinleygreen840 to ride the shitty rides that suck ass,
A hybrid dueling dragons/rock n roller coaster type ride should have been the basis for a fast and furious ride. Have two coasters that “race” each other.
Coasters are hella expensive. Slow moving trams and 3D screens are hella inexpensive
“With a price tag of too much or not enough” 🤣
"Depends on who you ask."
"I can't make this shit up if I tried" best quote of the whole vid
I’ve never seen Jack so angry in a video in my entire time I’ve been subbed to this channel 💀
If only this was a Test Track-esque kind of ride
Or a drag race like Radiator Springs Racers
no that’s too logical for these guys
The one for Dueling Dragons or (Hagrids Motorbike race is what it’s called now) was so long there wasn’t any line and it took me and my brother like 20 minutes to walk through all of it
I just watched this again. You make great, informative, and insightful videos. This may have been your Magnum Opus. Truly sincere and true.
Wow Magnum Opus? That's some high praise, thank you!
The perfect ride...a party bus with screens
Avery the Cuban-American they should've called it "fast and furious: party bus with screens the RIDE"
It's almost an embarrassment ..
@DonaldsDisneyGuide Almost? Nah, F&F Supercharged IS an embarrassment.
Avery the Cuban-American NOT!
It’s a major embarrassment!
DonaldsDisneyGuide an embarrassment for you do you own Universal Studios or something to say it’s a embarrassment
I went in expecting a shit ride, and I still came out so genuinely confused on how a ride that bad got green lit
Just a fun thought
Pick ur poison:
Disney California Adventure's Superstar Limo
OR
Universal Studios's Fast and Furious Supercharge
That’s a tough decision. Superstar Limo is more Uncanny Valley-type with Whoopi Goldberg, and F&F is just pathetic. I would go with F&F.
One time I warned my friend to cover his ears while we rode he didint listen and he regretted it and said you were right
Super star limo
Superstar Limo since I liked F&F
Superstar Limo!
"It's all about FAMILY, Tom!" - Sonic the Hedgehog
Your profile picture of Nick Wilde perfectly describes my face after I got off this ride (and Skull Island: Reign of Kong as well). I hoped it wouldn't suck as much as people said it would--but, it did. So glad they recovered with Hagrid's Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure... The ride design team got their act back together.
This is the most honest and yet hilarious ride review I’ve ever watched. Thank you for saying what needed to be said 👏
When I first heard they were going to make a Fast and Furious ride, I was excited cause I thought they would make ride thst was like Test Track or Rockin Roller Coaster but once I saw the reveal and when I went on the ride, I was so disappointed with the story and style of the attraction.
“Jesus Tapdancing Christ” killed me
Hahaha it got me too!
I was drinking when he said it and started choking! Worth it for that line, though haha
That is so funny! 😂😂
"A garage with the logo painted on" is the perfect description of the ride
I am LIVING for all of this shade being thrown!
At least one person enjoyed the ride
An interactive roller coaster would have amazing possibilities with fast and the furious theming. But they choose the worst possible idea for this IP.
evan weiner YEAH! I wanna see that happen and as a replacement to that gosh-awful ride complete with a much better queue and pre-show and a gift shop for guests to exit into!
If i were running USO, I would have Supercharged be a launch coaster similar to West Coast Racers.
Or even Intimidator 305
Great minds think alike!
waited around 30 minutes for this ride, and even that short of a wait time couldn't save this ride. the ride itself was like 2 minutes, very boring, very loud for just no reason. quite possibly the worst attraction in the whole park. i feel terrible for the guest who waited possibly up to 2+ hours for this in the first opening months
It was a walk on for me and my family in August 2018. And I can see why. Such a poor ride.
Well that was the most emotion I've ever seen Vin Diesel had.
When the queue is better than the ride. What were they thinking?
I'm sorry but not even the queue could save this nightmare.
The queue is literally the best part
@@redflamekitty44 I like the queue
The queue pissed me off
I haven’t been on either version of this attraction but after watching this, I feel like I could maybe give Hollywood a slight pass on their usage of the tram, but if you’re going to have a giant screen like that, you should at least make the film look good but Florida, you have no excuse!
For
Bro for reals when I went on the ride in Hollywood I was like they did change the voice know it makes no sense cause he says “ Roman Pierce your under arrest “ and then Roman says “ do you no how long it took for me to iron the shirt “ and then he yells “ your under arrest right know “ it sounds terrable when it use to say “ Roman Pierce on the ground “ and then he says the iron shirt thing it makes more sense instead of how it is now
25:53 So, fun fact: this was the original concept for the attraction, but due to budgetary concerns brought upon mainly by Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and VelociCoaster, they scrapped their original plans and re-hired the same team that developed Skull Island: Reign of Kong to develop the ride system.
That's still no excuse for how terrible the ride turned out, though.
The queue is awful too! I don't care about moving to different rooms with actors talking to you
I don’t think I’ve heard this much swearing in a Theme Park History video but it’s warranted and I’m here for it 😂
When you get a chance can you cover the maximum carnage universal nights of horror attraction/maze?
I guess we're due for another HHN vid from this channel
Presley Sullivan This should be on its own channel!
20:17 that is crazy. Every time I went, the wait was always 60 to 75 minutes. I honestly love the ride and the queue is very cool in my opinion.
I love how passionate you are about how badly this attraction sucks! I have no clue why universal thought a tram/bus attraction was an appropriate approach for a F&F ride
This was amazing... I love hearing this guy angry... that was comedy gold dude!
I have never heard you talk like this, and it was awesome man. Thanks for the quarantine entertainment brother. Stay safe and healthy
24:02 funny how both the game and ride were smacked by fans, critics and players/guests.
The pre-show characters aren’t necessarily written that way. They are not actors. They are ride and show spielers.
The day the ride gets removed is the day racism ends for good
*sees the video is 30 minutes and rant is in the title*
Oh god
For me, the worst part isn’t even the ride the worst part is when they hit the nitro and that air blasts in your face and somehow never fails to rupture my eardrums every time I ride
I love the video. The fact that we heard you spoke in a very different tone was great. Wouldn’t mind hearing you rant on other rides
This would have been a perfect opportunity to bring back the duelling coasters. One is Dom and the "family" the other is the Feds. Both with their own pre-show from that sides' perspective. Or even a two-track racing coaster with a street racing theme.
I agree whole heartedly with this !!! I worked there and we thought it would be something like The Mummy or Gringotts nope ! Soo many guests complained getting off that ride smh major L for that ride
I love the fire you bring against this embarrassing ride. It’s surreal to hear your voice raised higher than normal.
Why not do the Beetlejuice’s Graveyard Revue! One of my favorite things to go see at Universal Florida. Cant believe it was shut down for some clusterf*ck of a ride
CausticCosmonaut Yeah! I want the Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue show to return to the Universal Orlando Resort as part of the Universal’s Epic Universe theme park!
My favourite part of the entire ride is the actors in the pre-show. They looked like they didn’t give a shit and decided to have fun with it.
What also sucks is I heard universal plans to do nothing to this for the time being, claiming there are people who like it
this review was soooo good, thanks man!
Honestly this is probably the worst ride I’ve ever been on and I love Universal
this ride always kills the vibe at the end of the studio tour
Fast & Furious supershit it's so bad, it makes Stitch great escape, and journey into your imagination look like they're good attractions
At least Stitch and Journey were half-decent attractions at one point.
We waited almost an hour in line, with the expencive fast-entrance-ticket...and it was so bad.
