Very Kool ! I Flew the Cessna 337 push pull. We called it the "EggBeater". Lots of torque with inline thrust, 1 engine out was nothing specail on the controls versus the traditional wing mounted twins. You've got quite the machine there. Great job!
I'll never cease to be amazed at the amazing way that plane looks when it takes off. Doubt you can get closer to the ease of a flesh and bone bird than that.
Im so glad you got more camera time for us to view this amazing aircraft! I want to see it everyday for the rest of my life! What a great bird! Wheres its location today?
Due to the extra, extra long delay in making it to the market, and the lack of updates on their website i think it will never happen due to lack of motivation
I was looking for updates about the prototype and then read the video’s description, shame to see that work seems to have stagnated, it looked marvelous.
It didn't stagnate. It was basically a test bed. It performed beautifully but the pilot needed a multi-engine rating. The designer wanted a single engine bush plane with maximum view forward and downward to make sand and gravel bars safer to land on. His next project is called the Ascender, featuring side-by-side seating in a bubble front end and accomplished those goals. A photo from the cockpit is stunning. It's the cover story in the current "Sport Aviation" from the EAA. I'm no bush pilot but I'd absolutely love to fly either airplane.
wow¡¡¡ stuning aircraft¡¡¡ I will definetly love to fly it hahah¡ I found it when i was doing a bush course in teruel with a guy called arturo polo and i sa3w a pic on his wall of this aircraft in taht moment i felt in love, nos im currently flying for private company with cj4 on Spain, but my dream is to have one stol airccradt like this jajaj lool but i will try to save for a savagge¡ Regards sir , you need to upload more videos flying this beauty
Wow, it's like an Aircam, but no asymmetrical thrust issues.....not that the Aircam has those issues, but much like the 337 skymaster, in-line thrust beats an engine on each side every time. Nice footage, Brother.
So are y'all finished with all the testing on the plane? And if so when or will y'all ever start building them for resales ? Great AK bush machine or any kind'a out back flying! Pls let us know, and as always great job guys! Thank's!
The Double Ender people don't have anything to do with this UA-cam channel beyond being a brief subject of one of our films. You can contact them at bushplanedesign.com. Good luck.
Great video! I found the website for this plane, however are they for sale yet? Couldn't find much on the specs either. Loved the video, anymore info on this plane!
Awesome airplane!! The shape reminds me of the Republic RC-3 Seabee except the RC-3 was single engine pusher amphib. I knew I had seen that "profile" before but it took a bit before I remembered what it was. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_RC-3_Seabee
I think making it single engine was a mistake, the pitch effect will be dangerous at slow speed. When you have one engine ahead and one aft of the lift center, they will cancel each other out.
I don't know. I don't know anything other than what it looks like through the windows from inside. They are Rotax 914s, so you can look up their fuel burn at max RPM and cruise settings.
That is, maybe, the coolest freaking aircraft ever! 😍 I might give my left nut to own one of those... Also, thanks for not putting a bunch of that Lame music that so many tubers do -- that junk they call 'chill pop' ... Sounds like squirrels getting kicked in the sack. Just saying. Cheers!
Everyone can agree that this plane would be revolutionary in backcountry aviation. I sure hope the Designer finishes this thing and puts it into production! It’s becoming a few years behind schedule and I’m becoming worried 😟
They apparently after getting this flying started working on a two seat side by side. I don't understand why they would do that... The configuration in the video is awesome!
😍 that’s like my dream plane right there
Back off I saw it first! XD Haha! Yeah though I love the plane I wish I could have one, heck I wish I could fly! :)
Been waiting for more double ender !!
Well don't get too excited...it's just remixed footage. :)
What happened to this project? Last update i could find online was 2015. Did someone die?
That canopy is amazing!

That plane sooo needs to compete in the STOL DRAG!
I'll never cease to be amazed at the amazing way that plane looks when it takes off. Doubt you can get closer to the ease of a flesh and bone bird than that.
thats the weirdest looking helicopter i've never seen!
Perfect. No Music or commentary needed.

Its awesome!!! Need review for that plane :))))
Due to the extra, extra long delay in making it to the market, and the lack of updates on their website i think it will never happen due to lack of motivation
Thanks Zane! That rework is a blast!
This would be the perfect Fish and Game or African game reserve aircraft.
No, they would steal it for spare parts on their shacks.
You're right, it would be perfect for shooting game hunters from the air.
@youcometome9 Das fact!!
Super.
C'est, ...tres vivant. Que du Plaisir. Merci
How cool is that!
That land locked SeaBee's extra engine would be very comforting flying over mountain forests, especially at night.
Why so it could take you to the crash site?
At 3:40 is that a wall of water slamming in to the bottom of the horizontal stabilizer? Hopefully just camera angle.
Very impressive. This dragonfly works so well.
I would like to see more of this plane

Where did this guy go. Want to hear more from the doubleender. Please

@@BackcountryPilot I gotcha ok thanks
I want to buy a kit or one made but with dual 915s for high altitude flying. Is this thing going to be for sale in some form?
Wow....What an awsome plane.
That thing is awesome!
I very much want to meet this monster machine in person
It's been a while since this first popped up in Alaska, where is it now??
We need an update on how this plane is going Double Ender.... Please 🙏
Look who showed up here
Chancey M lmao
5:53 this Music by Impulse Coupling ? really,could not find it;
Hi Marc, you can find it here, titled "The Push Pull": soundcloud.com/impulsecoupling
I seen a single high engine plane that looked like this. What type of aircraft did it start as??
Can it take twin 30mm canons?
Claude Dornier would be proud.
came here too check if plane was real on MSFS, love this design
I think they used my videos heavily in the modeling. 😎
Wow this is too cool!
3:15 - 4:10 ... oh lawd.
What happened to this plane?
Ohhh man.... I want one.
when will this go on sale?
I don’t like to have the heavy bits above or behind me in the event of a crash
Gorgeous...
The front prop (only) should be reversible...
CRAZY SHOW MORE
is this project still running?
Wonder what happened
Are both props & gearing the same or does the front one feed the rear?
Totally independent systems
It looks awesome. In a way kind of steam punk or mad max stuff.
Great video! I found the website for this plane, however are they for sale yet? Couldn't find much on the specs either. Loved the video, anymore info on this plane!
Hiker its a dead project. They havent updated the website and dont respond to emails. They crashed the prototype side by side and no info since.
DeadRoman is there any info about that crash? Thxs
@@nicolasmonastirsky What crash? What happen, I am very interested> Are these safe? Thanks
Nicolas Monastirsky its my understanding that it crash landed in a lake. There are pictures of the single engine prototype online.
@@DeadRoman Ok, thanks man! I di dthink this plane looked cool, but then again I like the WIlga too, lol. Rock on!

Did I just see that correctly?!?!
Ain't bulk grunt fun!!

It’s twin Rotax 914s. And if you don’t like someone’s design, build your own. They did it.
Crazy Cool!!
Wouldn’t want to hit a tree straight on in that thing
Wouldn't want to hit a tree straight on in anything. Not even riding a bike.
cool and perfekt airplane
very cool :)
What is its fuel burn rate in liters per hour?
I don't know. I don't know anything other than what it looks like through the windows from inside. They are Rotax 914s, so you can look up their fuel burn at max RPM and cruise settings.
Backcountry Pilot okay thanks and can I ask why you choose for a twin engine setup? It looks sooo freaking awesome😎
I would have one ☝🏻!!!!
I hope you figure out how to make a billion dollars on that plane. What a great design and skill set to take it from an idea to reality
😲😲😀😀👍
I shit a little watching this. Nice flying.
I was in the back seat. I had to hide behind the camera I was so gripped.
Backcountry Pilot crazy, great view though
Aw yiss!
You guys need to dig some info out of the designers.
DeadRoman +1 although this is what happens when you let a bunch of non-engineer pilots tackle design on their own -.-
I know this is three years late, but Eric Lewis designed this one initially.
needs more power.
I'm thinking a PT-6A116, on each end...
Mark Mayer Throw two Rotax 915’s on it and problem solved!
Cheers!
A plane that thinks it's a helicopter.
Looks like your flying a helicopter

Rocket Surgeon yeah, but they said they’re gonna get it flying in like 2016-17 and it’s 2019 and there’s still no news...
@@AN2Felllla Yeah... I know... ;_;
Классный аппарат, жаль в России авиация не сильно развита

Nice plane from Poland, designed in Warsaw in 1960
