  • Excuse me while I have station wagons on the brain...or maybe it's "station wagon mania"? Either way, I'm having a good time while the Keykeeper and I do our best to make auto repair and maintenance fun.
First, it's way past time to replace the nasty old air filter. I hope it wasn't in there since 1993!
I wasn't happy with the answers I got when asking about the gas charged lifting cylinders for the rear liftglass when I posed a question about installing them to a forum. Saying "it's easy" is nice, but I still need to know /how/. The factory service manual wasn't very helpful either...so here's my take on easy removal of the old discharged lift cylinders. It basically involves prying loose the metal band around the ends that connect to the car and lift glass.
I would suggest that you move all drinks and food away from your computer prior to watching this video. Oh, and don't mistakenly inhale your mousepad either.
