@@obamasoe9392 like the other reviews, Alpha feels more comfortable and yet Cloud is already comfortable. And they improved the sound drivers on Alpha so if I were you just go for the better one.

DAAAAAMN the alphas mic sounds clear asf, and nice vid, so chill
doesnt sound as as good a normal gamer with a normal setup just like me. byt the mic is still pretty damn good but it does have a buzzing sound in the backgroud when u record stuff

Thanks for the review, I've been struggling on which headset to buy. I've been using razer for 5 years and it's great and everything.. Bouth razers newst headset and It's just they seem to be a little heavy after wearing them for an hour or so. But i really have been looking at the Hper x Just not sure if i'm completely sold on a lot of the reviews i watch, due to the headset being amazing the mic isn't that great. But this seems to have it all. Great sound and great sounding mic on the Alphas. Thanks keep it up...I love very honest reviews..♥

I purchased my cloud 2's last week and had it exchanged it for the alpha. I must say that the Alpha earpads are more comfortable for me compared to the cloud 2s. Cloud 2s win with comfort as it is lighter in the head but it's night and day when it comes to the sound quality.
So the alphas are definitely better?

The cloud 2 are a perfect headset for me only problem is is the long ass chord gets tangled in my gaming chair sometimes but besides that they are great

@Jason Peiits a headset you can use it for anything that has a headset but I am not sure why you would buy a 100$ headset for just mobile gaming

The mic for the cloud alpha is really sensitive. My friends can hear themselves somehow so I have to turn the volume down really low.
I am torn between these two headsets. The only thing keeping me away from the cloud alpha is that some people say that your friends on discord will hear your game sound which is annoying.
Any suggestions?

Luckily I have a usb microphone, but if you're talking on discord you can take down the voice activity db.

I own both the cloud 2 and cloud alpha and I use them for mobile. I think the cloud alpha sounds better but I use Dolby atmos setting with my Samsung phone

Cloud II are not logic to buy, i mean, u have alphas with a so better sound and a better earpads than Cloud II/I, u only won the 7.1 what its useless
How's the 7.1 surround sound? I'm looking to upgrade my turtle Beach and really am looking for good surround sound.
Its actually pretty damn good....of course you're limited by the headphones but it does a great job recreating the sound

I just got a Cloud II yesterday after using Cloud Alpha for half a year... It is a pity for me since the sound of it is really good for mix usage (movies, music, gaming). Yet I could feel the weight on my head and the clamping force getting bigger after maybe 45-60 minutes of gaming. I tried changing the HM5 earpads, adjusting the headband etc, just not work for me.
Then I borrowed Cloud II from a friend and completely fine for hours of wearing! It sounds like walking backward using the older model but comfort will always be the number one priority. Hope you all find the best headset. Cheers!
P.S. I am a 6''2 guy with normal oval shape head
Which headphone is better for gaming in mobile phone Cloud 2 or Cloud Alpha?
I don't play mobile games with headphones much. I gave the Alpha to my brother and found him playing PUBG mobile (on iPhone SE) with it. He couldn't tell the difference between Alpha and normal earbuds. But regarding sound quality Cloud Alpha will always surpass Cloud II IMO. Tho there is a gaming earbuds from the HyperX which you might find useful,

Mine is switched. Had the Cloud II for 3 years and the most comfortable headphones I've ever had. I only had to get new ones because my brother bent the headband on purpose to break it. Still works but it's all wonky now. Picked up the Alpha and they're not as comfortable and my ears get warm/hot. Also I think the sound isnt that great. Maybe that's just me idk. Going back to Best Buy to return them and get the Cloud 2 again LOL. The best headset I've ever had.

I have my cloud II for 2 years now. and I actually bought it 2nd hand. maybe a year old so total of 3 years. Leather is starting to tear of but it's soft so I usually doesn't feel it. My friend is using Cloud Alpha and its sound is always leaking to its mic. It's annoying. Overall sound quality, Alpha is a little better than II, but if you consider comfort and performance (no sound leaks), I would always choose Cloud II over Cloud Alpha.
How are they for music? I like listening to music while I play some games and I got the Kraken X and they're so bad... they have no bass.. And are they comfortable with glasses on? Tnank youu :)
@@MariaAP95 for music, not an expert, but i think it is in the okay side. I appreciate it more for watching movies because of the 7.1. its best feature is comfort and great directional sound (for games)

I like the cloud alpha been having them for 2 years they work very well they are really comfortable and great for the price the mic is also good and better then the could 2 I like how they have noice cancelling I would go with the cloud alpha
The mics pretty much sound the same. Thought maybe they'd up the quality on the Alphas since they're 20 dollars more.

Hello guys which one is better for games like call of duty MW and War zone for footsteps and other games to lol, Logitech G pro X or HyperX Cloud Alpha they both good but which one is better? I see a lot of Pc players use both so I don't know which to go with? and Why? also which one would be more likely picking up noises from environment (i.e. fan noises)

The Cloud II’s little adapter is basically the same as the cloud alphas cord the adapter plugs into usually the back of a gaming keyboard that has both a mic and headphone jack ports

Guys please help, i had cloud2 for few years, super nice headset but i broke, then i bought DT770 pro and i got so big headaches/migranes from them as they are pressing to my jaw bone or something, do you think Alpha S is as comfortable as cloud2 or any futher experience you guys have with it?

Piet Schockemöhle surround does not make footsteps louder from what I know just stick with stereo or just don’t use the 7.1
im not really sure but i used the stealth 700 for a few years, and i would highly recommend it
I use cloud 2 with updated firmware in the dongle. Dont bother with 700. I use 700 for xbox and it's terrible.

i will stay on cloud 2 because it has 2 couple earcups not like alpha that only has a couple earcups (leather), because leather earcups in my experience, only last like 2 years, after that it will starts peeled off, so you need the other earcups for your comfort

I had the cloud 2 for a few years. I loved them but the cable must have broke inside, it didn't work anymore. I plan to take an Alpha now, as the cable are detachable and can be replaced.

I just got the cloud 2s and they pretty amazing. They’re super comfortable when you swap out the pleather ear cushions with the ones that come with the headset. Also sound quality is very nice too.

there are on sale every year for the half price im using my cloud 2 for 4 years and now i bought the alpha in blackout version for 50 bucks. nothing can beat the price performance on these headsets. and i think there is no need to buy more expensive headsets really doesnt make any sense it matches with the top emd headseets on the market

I have the alphas but no they don't hurt my ears at all even after a couple hours straight
They’re really comfortable. But the only thing is the top of your head may get a little sore but that usually happens with all headphones when worn for a long time
