I've been using Cloud 2's for over three years now, and I can gladly recommend them.
Same I think I've had them for like 4 or 5 years. Still amazingly comfy, strong, and sound great. They legit have earned a lifetime customer with me.
Yep same here. I’d would strongly recommended getting better pads for them but apart from that they’re great.
I've had mine for about a year now the mic would randomly unmute when it was muted and one hear was slightly louder and i returned it and got a new one and still had the same problems.
They’re my current headphones. Sooooooo gooooood!!!!

8:25 Dont forget the wonderful battery % telling you exactly what is left. That was something that really sold me on these, as not every wireless headset does this!
I used the cloud 2 for ages, their customer service is also amazing as they replaced mine after the cable broke in a few days, without even sending the old ones to them. But I ultimately switched to non gaming headphones with the dt 990 pros and a modmic for the slightly better audio quality.

I used the wired ones continuously for over half a decade before they broke. The wire got really hard and one day it snapped and that was it. Thanks for the informative review.

I actually didn't think the mic was that bad. I've been using the wired headset since it came out and still have it today. Great sound quality and durability. Im curious to try them side by side wired vs wireless.

I've been using the original Hyper X Cloud for like 6 years now. I've had to replace the ear cups and bought a padded headband cover because the headband started to mess up, but the sound is still amazing. I don't want a different pair.
same with hyper x cloud 2 sound is good af mic is meh but still enjoyable after long time ^^
Gotta say I’ve had a lot of brands of headset over the years from Turtle beaches to astros and overall hyper X is the most durable and quality brand I’ve come across. They have really nice audio quality and the pair of cloud Xs I’ve had for three years have really held up. Nothing has went wrong with them and I will happily buy another pair of hyper Xs when the time to upgrade comes.

@@jiris5709 the alphas came out ~5 months after I got the 2s. I remember them being ~2x the price and I was very satisfied with my 2s so didn't bother to check.
What's so special about them to justify that 2x jump in price?

Glasses test 👌🏻 biggest complaint is most headsets aren’t glasses friendly. I figured with the memory foam it would help but the fact you go above and give your input on it just sold me
We need Cloud Alpha S Wireless version
I think it's safe to say that, when you're looking to buy a pair of wireless headphones, you should focus pretty much only on the sound of the drivers because the mic is gonna suck no matter what, in which case a dedicated mic would be the right and recommended choice if you wanted to sound good and to please those listening at the other end.
The only wireless headset that I've found with a good mic are the Audio-Technica ATH-G1WL, but theyre $250. Maybe the corsair vurtuoso, but thats about it. And personally, I really want an open back headphone, but there are no wireless ones of those either (i would just slap on a mod mic wireless)

If you don’t wanna spend extra money getting a cardioid microphone, those wireless headsets on the market are a decent option for you.
@@tigerleon10 all my products are from razer since 2014 and my Kraken is pretty good to play games ( I have a Sony XM3 for musics etc). He did the review of the BlackShark V2/X and said it was amazing, so I’m waiting for the review of the wireless one to see if it’s the same sound and mic quality..

I bought those yesterday, my SteelSeries Siberia 200 broke after 4-5 years. I confirm that Cloud 2 Wireless are comfy, the sound is great in CSGO and the mic is clear and decent for my job meetings. Anyhow, I'm always within 0.5 - 3m from the dongle so, there is no input lag whatsoever. They are so so good for CSGO. I love them. Didn't encountered any white noise or connection issues. Also, I don't use virtual 7.1 surround in games but did a test on a UA-cam sound test video, quite accurate! Ty for the review mate, worth it !
Fun Fact: I was DMG yesterday and just went to LE within 2 short tuscan games. I hear them so good that I just XANTARES PEEK and prefire. ❣️

Original cloud and following models were never made to "sound great" (listen to music or watch movies), they were made to provide the best informational sound that a game can offer.
I've owned the first one, and could hear shit I could never hear with many other headsets that cost way more. And the direction of the sound had always been spot on.

mannn! I just bought the hyperx cloud flight wireless headset because my cloud II is broken. I love the cloud II and wished for a wireless replacement! But from this review and owning the cloud flights I can say that they are both pretty similar just from looks regarding mic and sound (flight headset without the 7.1). Glad to have bought the ones I have, considering that Frank said the wireless cloud 2 need some tweaking on the music department , my flight headset doesnt need any type of adjustment whatsoever at anytime. Go wireless btw, its amazing.

I have had my Cloud 2 wired for about 4-5 years and except the cable being a bit broken they work as well as they did out of the box. Although they still work ive bern looking for some wireless options for a headset and this is honestly perfect since the cloud 2 are perfect for me

I can vouch for these, they are not the best looking and the cups can get a bit uncomfortable after a while but overall a great pair of headphones in my opinion.
Would love it if you could do a top 5/10 headphones, maybe also top five wireless/cabled?

Its hyperx its made of metal and very durable.
I got mine to 270 degree to loosen the clamp force a bit.. Nothing broke or bent. They are fucking solid mate. Still running strong after 4 years. I just wish they were a bit lighter.

Cloud alphas would be a downgrade imo. This is why they made the Cloud 2's wireless. It is because they are good.
Have you tried Cloud 2s? Imo they're a lot more comfortable than the Alphas but it's all personal preference.
@@zackthomas99 yes, I have tried them and know several people who own them. As you said it is down to personal preference. I own a pair of Alpha S and they fit me better. I got a larger head and the Cloud II pads arent as thick so they bottom out. The alphas are thicker and i find them extremely comfortable.
@@tigerleon10 why so? I have no personal experience with the Cloud II but I own the Alpha S. What I know is that they are extremely similar with only some minor changes. For me the Alpha is a better fit since my head is bigger and I appreciate thicker earpads.

using the regular cloud 2, also used other headset from logitech and razer, i find cloud 2 is very good at listening to footsteps,hope this wireless iteration doesn’t change that
I'm really considering Cloud II Wireless now over the Steelseries Arctis 1, the only missing information that I need is that does it work with the Switch? Since the Switch is notorious for not being wireless-headphone-friendly, I just want to make sure. The Arctis 1 is mainly marketed as compatible with the Switch because of their Type-C dongle, but the price of the Cloud II Wireless is really a head-turner.
Logitech needs to drop the price on the G Pro X Wireless, no way people are going to pay $200 when there are two stellar competitive headsets that are cheaper.

I'll just assume the quality of the other one based on that... There is good wireless microphones. I have the cloud wireless and they're great. The only thing I don't like is the stupid lighting option. Sometimes if I put them on first and then cut them on, I accidentally cut the lighting option on unknowingly. and it absolutely sucks the life out of the battery which would normally last 12 hours. Very comfortable, amazing range.
