Sweet Jeep!! A ZZ4 is one BAD ASS engine and makes ANY vehicle better! It looks like this conversion was done with great attention to detail. Well done!! All the guys putting this Jeep down are just jealous. To everyone hurling insults: This guy can build HIS Jeep any way he pleases!!! Maybe the axle choice was the correct one if the owner knows he won't be going off road. Did any of you "know-it-alls" consider that?
Damn character limit. I quote "A manual reverse valve body is as it states, a valve body that has been modified to allow the driver to select gears manually and will not work as originally designed (automatic shift). The reverse refers to the shift gate positioning of the selector positions, this allows for a safe way to shift from 1st, thru 3rd w/o over shooting and possibly going into neutral, reverse or park." Learned this from a guy at work who drag races every weekend.
I've got a 2015 Wrangler 6spd, and my wife has a 2015 Wrangler auto, both 2 dr, with Texas farm plates on both. We ordered 2018 Rubicon 2 dr, a std for me, and auto for her, but this time we both want to put the biggest Irok radical tires, and what ever size lift kit to accommodate the 49" Irok tires, again both will have Texas farm plates, snorkels, HD winches ft & rear, with customized ft & rear bumper/brushguard. The interiors will be factory, but the exterior will only have functional accessories for the farm, no rock climbing. We see plenty of 4 wheeling just doing our daily farm chores, which include pulling grain implement trailers, nursing tanks of fuel/fertilizer, hauling 11 round bales on 16' gooseneck trailer pulled by Wrangler with special buggy for towing gooseneck, or 5th wheel trailers. These Jeeps only had lockers in ft & rear, as well as 4:56 ring and pinion, however not even a 2" lift. We checked with Jeep, and the warranty is not covered for anything over 2 1/2" lift, we'll be way over that , thus we're taking a risk to see our dream Jeeps now that we're both retired, our oldest just finished law school, and our young twins are starting law school in January 2018, we figured that if we don't get the big lift & big tires we'll probably never do it. Yes, it's a chance, but it's very much worth it.
@@ham7357 Sorry, didn’t mean to offend you. I’ve always had Jeeps, since 1979, when my Godfather gifted me a Korea war era Willys Jeep 3 cylinder. I used that until my oldest brother gave me his 1978 Toyota Jeep, then I bought a new 1986 Jeep when I started law school. I drove a CJ5 until I purchased a new 2dr Wrangler 6spd std & now my wife drives a 2023 Gladiator Rubicon diesel std w/6” lift, Manuel locking hubs, 42 radial Irocs, 30K PTO ft/winch on foldable brush guard KC daylighters, dual tone F/S siren 900MHZ 2-way mobile, 5K inflatable Ft air bags, G/N hitch, aluminum diesel & toolbox. We’re able to utilize it on the farm & ranch & as a scout hunting vehicle. 4:46 R&Pinion , air & hydraulic rear bumper hitch & suspension. We are licensed to use farm diesel & it is licensed w/Texas farm plates. Clearly, we must keep a log when we drive it for other than farm use, since we utilize farm diesel, but this has been the best motor ever. It has a engine timer, as well as the std odometer, since it’s left running constantly during harvest season, it’s never turned off because it’s used to run various nursing tanks & farm implements. We truly never utilize our farm vehicles for recreational purposes, as we must keep them well tuned & always available for farm/ranch/commercial hunting.
Yes somewhat but mainly the mud got thinner and the resistance to the tires got less so they spin more freely which let the RPMs get to high and a shift to another gear would bring it back to a safer RPM.
You guys act as if he plans on ever leaving the pavement with this thing... It's a mall crawler, not a real Jeep made for the woods. 6" tall shackles, no hydro assist steering, massive side steps, super weak axles, no fender clearance... He built a head turning street Jeep.
xckrebel I don’t rip mine much anymore either bc it was passed down to me so I’m not trying to tear it all to hell. What’s the problem with a clean Jeep?
I’ve read a lot of negative comments on this jeep. Shame on all of you! This Jeep is sick!!! Perhaps the guy just wanted a sick looking jeep and doesn’t care much for the “speed” LOL The jeep looks beautiful.
I have the same jeep although its not in that condition.. mine has a 350 chevy with dana 44 front 14 bolt in the back 410 gears .. the largest I would even thinking about going with that set up would be 40 in tires. The 35x15 I have now work just fine. that jeep looks good and sounds good but those axles wouldnt last long.
Sometimes , one must think about everyday usage ,some things are not right all the time . 52" tires on the freeway , or full blown fire breathing 427 in the rocks , all I want is a reg. cab 4x4 that dose a 1/4 in nine sect. And gets 40 mpg. Oh and holds six kids.
Would never be able to bring myself to waste the money on such a nice paint job for a vehicle that I would put in the mud. But that is a very pretty jeep
i would love to see it offroad and accully try to see if the axle's would hold up, this is one of thos times you bet how long and on what set of rock's.
Ah okay I kinda see what you're saying...Like the mud got a little thick while you were flooring it in first...and you need to shift to second to get more bite?? And whats a "reverse manual valve body" ?
What type paint does he use on the axles and frame i wonder? I need something thick and nice to use on mine that i dont have to redo a few months later >.>
Tyler Sisco Those are wheel adapters they just don't change the bolt pattern ...functionally these are no different that using a wheel of the same combined off set ...lol...my only worry would be the d30 from the inner c to the unit bearing hub nothing on a d30 is up to safety holding the leverage and I would be afraid of it failing on the street , which is the only place this set up could be used .
Unless your jeep has a supercharger you don't have 200 hp to the wheels. Your engine is the 3.8l 205 hp to the flywheel. It actually only puts 127 to the wheels.
if that thing was droped down on some 35's it would be a beast! but its still a cool jeep to park infront of your house as is I guess. Give rides in the field and stuff... lol
I have no words that could ever begin to describe my disgust with rock star wheels... they are the ugliest thing I've ever seen a tire wrapped around. Also.... this jeep has been rendered useless. such a waste.
Well I do gotta admit I wished I still had a T-18 wide gear trans in my Jeep, that Jeep died an honorable death and lives on in many other Jeeps (parts sold off). Now getting back in to Jeeps after a 7 year hiatus I got a CJ7 with an auto :(, but I'm going to do a reverse manual valve body so I can pick my gear but not lose momentum running the mud if I need to shift. Learned that with the T-18,don't want to be stuck in one gear for a run with the motor redlining cause the mud changed viscosity
This shit is dope AF. Total 🔥. Okay, fuck stick, might as well move to Miami and just park this monstrously out front of the club. Let tourists take pics with it for a dollar, ya'll!
thats a WICKED jeep, I LIKE!! nice work, so far. but the wheelbas is allllll bad. width looks good with the D44's and wheels/hubs. just need to shuv that front and rear axle out about 6+ inches each way
why are people jealous of this jeep. it looks like a big rc car

A full tank of gas was used going around the building.
notice the spacers rather than widened axles... that's scary with 49"s and that much lift
They doo cool jeeps do you go off road with they
getting a jeep like this ! the wheels are the same and cant wait to drive it!!
This is a beautiful piece of equipment... I want mine to look and sound just like it
Damn character limit.

I used to have one of those, a 1979 CJ-5 with a 304 V8 3-speed I bought brand new but 30 years ago the biggest tires I could get was 44`s
those iroks handled that black top exceptionally well 0.o
Its got that Chevy PS pump whine!
+dieselworld Noticed that also. Alternator and water pump will fail soon too.
@tmc161 I notice the 8.8 now, but still vastly inadequate for those tires.
All that work and with those rims and tiny axels she will never see the dirt
the most amazing vehicle ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ford 8.8 and stock D30 with a v8 and 49s? Good luck with that shit
+V1NCH1INZ0 Why, he never goes off road. No tire clearance. It's a hilly billy with a credit card. No class at all.
Clean is cool , practical is better. Maybe not as much fun.
check jeep for dust before driving. good man
all in the gears! my 4 cyl YJ will do a brake stand with dana 60's on 38" TSL's
Cool Jeep, bro!
I’ve read a lot of negative comments on this jeep. Shame on all of you! This Jeep is sick!!! Perhaps the guy just wanted a sick looking jeep and doesn’t care much for the “speed” LOL The jeep looks beautiful.
cool street jeep, with D30 front and turdy5 rear axle with stock brakes with 49" iroks
engine bay is really nice man
I have the same jeep although its not in that condition.. mine has a 350 chevy with dana 44 front 14 bolt in the back 410 gears .. the largest I would even thinking about going with that set up would be 40 in tires. Those axles look tiny with 49s! Pretty cool for a steet jeep
Holy body lift. Nice mall crawler by the way...
Ah okay I kinda see what you're saying...Like the mud got a little thick while you were flooring it in first...and you need to shift to second to get more bite??
And whats a "reverse manual valve body" ?
nice exhaust set-up
I'd relocate the shock mounts on the rear axle. Those will be the first things to go. Trust me I learned the hard way. Came right down on a rock
johnny benvenuti If this is ever off road where it could come down on a rock ...lol...the shock mount is the least of the concerns .
How long did the pinion bearing last? Seems like that angel would lead to serious bearing fatigue threw lack of oiling ?
What type paint does he use on the axles and frame i wonder? I need something thick and nice to use on mine that i dont have to redo a few months later >.>
Stock axles. WOW!
I love the red though.
really nice jeep.have fun!
nice wheel spacers
Lemme guess... 4.3 MPG?
how bads the axle wrap without the traction bar? or am I missing something?
wish i saw more of the jeep from a distance never actually saw the exterior at all.
great car man
Sweet flex, bro.
Why? Did you happen to pick up an Offroad magazine from 1989?
what is the point of having bump stops on your frame if the tire wont even let the axle go that high?
what size lift is on it very cool love the monte carlo in the back too
Is that a Ford 8.8 rear end? The front must be a stock Jeep axle as well?
I love the combination of 49"s and shit suspension clearance .
@WWoodyW Thats a rear 8.8 and a hp 30
nice setup
tip over waiting to happen...but looks cool
Nice for cruising at the beach....
Larger flares with stock openings?
best small block engine you can have
im thinking 16" coilovers comp cut on 44s would be a lot better.
stupid and amazing at the same time.
So how horrible is the axle wrap on that thing? Can you even use the V8 power?
Ford 8.8 and dana 30 axles? I wouldnt even trust anything bigger than 37's on that combo...
8.8 is stronger then the D44. Its capacity is 1000lbs more.
Also the 2 inch wheel spacers and stock brakes , that thing is a nightmare waiting to happen.
Tyler Sisco Those are wheel adapters they just don't change the bolt pattern ...functionally these are no different that using a wheel of the same combined off set ...lol...my only worry would be the d30 from the inner c to the unit bearing hub nothing on a d30 is up to safety holding the leverage and I would be afraid of it failing on the street , which is the only place this set up could be used .
where they get those tires and rims are wide and? I am from Peru
sounds good, looks good, slide a couple dana 60's under it.
had one and it tended to flop over a lot had to run 35"s to make it stay up right.
That coin purse just makes the vehicle!
what is the purpose of round bar in the front?
The tires need spacer's so it will not have as much role as I think it does
may look good but how does it function that's what matters
Unless your jeep has a supercharger you don't have 200 hp to the wheels. Your engine is the 3.8l 205 hp to the flywheel. It actually only puts 127 to the wheels.
could you list the aftermarket?
What’s kind of rear end you have and the back is that a 10 bolt
lol nice wheel spacers. 8.8 and a 44? I hope you avoid the parking curbs at the mall. wouldn't want to bust an axle shaft.
wow that's one sweet monster jeep whats the lift and by who
omg I'm in love I got one like that but army green but not as nice as that
How could you dislike this?
I love it!!!!
if that thing was droped down on some 35's it would be a beast! but its still a cool jeep to park infront of your house as is I guess. Give rides in the field and stuff... lol
Would love to do the same to my YJ as you did to yours.
I'm impressed is it for sale?
how many inches of lift does jeep have?
How much ground clearance does it have
Can you do 60 down the highway on this thing?
I have no words that could ever begin to describe my disgust with rock star wheels... they are the ugliest thing I've ever seen a tire wrapped around.
Also.... this jeep has been rendered useless.
such a waste.
Hater but I agree rockstars are ugly and gay but the suspension is nice.
James Qualls , so so true
so so true
Can i get a pavement princess over here? lol
good luck trying to offroad with those axels
how bad do the axels warp
You are aware that's not a Dana 35, right? Ford 8.8. Plenty strong. considering everything is modded, I'm sure its running aftermarket shafts as well.
Excelente como luce esta Jeep olllo
Well I do gotta admit I wished I still had a T-18 wide gear trans in my Jeep, that Jeep died an honorable death and lives on in many other Jeeps (parts sold off).

beautifull :D my 89 is still pretty muhc stock except 1.25 shackle lift and 31 M/T's this makes me sad haha
This shit is dope AF. Total 🔥. Okay, fuck stick, might as well move to Miami and just park this monstrously out front of the club. Let tourists take pics with it for a dollar, ya'll!
w/ stock axles and not even trusses, this thing is a piece
I think I’m in love ❤️❤️
You had me until you showed the automatic transmission.
it's like the ricer of the jeep world....... like orice: off road inspired cosmetic enhancements... new word of the day
Oh never mind. What kind of kit does it have? And if your selling I'm buying. :)
About how much HP did this have?.
good luck actually off-roading what do u get 2 inches of flex
yeah never really looked up the horsepower rating on my jeep, definitely didn't buy it for speed, theres a supercharged 2004 mach 1 in my garage.
thats a WICKED jeep, I LIKE!! nice work, so far. but the wheelbas is allllll bad. width looks good with the D44's and wheels/hubs. just need to shuv that front and rear axle out about 6+ inches each way
Scary tall!
How thick are the wheel spacers?!? Fuck that
I have a feeling this thing will never see dirt.
Can I get specs? Tires at least. Sick rockstars by the way.
Im guessing 5-6 mpg??
