I have a Red 95' YJ I picked up last year to learn how to drive manual. I'm going to restore it. These are the ultimate summer/off road vehicles and easily the most versatile/configurable I've ever seen. Always great seeing the Rio Grande jeeps out there. Great purchase!
I got my 94 YJ in 2017 before I retired from USAF. Mine's white too & super clean, no rust & had never seen salt or even been off road. was 99% stock - worst thing was a ripped driver's seat & needed new top. I did a CarFax & it was originally bought & spent beginning in CA . Then was up in WA - Sgt I bought it from brought it to MT. Like yours, I was told, & Carfax showed, it was flat-towed many yrs to AZ by an elderly couple. It had similar mileage & the 2.5L (4 angry squirrels). Never mind the "it's not a 4.0 crap" you'll hear.) The 2.5L is as bulletproof as the 4.0L. BOTH are fantastic engines. I retired & moved back to the Space Coast FL & IMHO with our flat trails here unless you're commuting I-95, I-4, or I-75 you don't need the HP of a 4.0L. Best of all, in FL mine goes with bikini top & tube doors 99.9% of time! Couldn't do that in Montana as often!
I had the exact same rio, same seat covers, same carpet same everything. Had it 18yrs and just had to trade it. Rusted beyond repair, felt like I lost a family member. Congratulations, I hope you get as much enjoyment out of yours as I did mine.
No tapping but it has developed a stagger when accelerating from a stop. I’m going to go through the vacuum lines and redo the intake and exhaust manifolds this winter. Hopefully it will be good as new after that.
I have same but my turn signals won't work I swapped out the 15 amp fuse also put a new relay on right side still not working I cant pull out the relay on top left feels stuck 95 wrangler yj
I didn't have left turn signal & then my brake lights quit. After trouble-shooting everything it was the round "Turn Signal Switch" wire relay located under the steering wheel & below horn. Only $40 but it's a bear to replace. There's some good YT vids on "how to." Took me a couple hrs after I had the part & the highly recommended tools for the job.

YJ, CJ7, TJ, JEEP WW2 are the most handsome of all old Jeeps.

I plan on keeping this until I’m dead.
Very Nice YJ! Love the tan interior. Should be around for a long time to come!
It's a 2.5
@@georgejetson1923 you're right, my mistake.
Great looking YJ.
Congrats. I have a 1990 V6 and I love it.
You said you have a few things to do to the YJ.ha ha you are soon to learn it is a never ending job.its like owning boat
I’m starting to realize that. Still glad I bought it though.
I have a 1994 with 220,000 miles. I spent more on it that I gave for it. I love mine and drive it daily and plan on keeping it forever.
We plan on keeping this forever. They are getting expensive and hard to find ones that aren’t trashed.
YJ daily driver gang in the building

I’m looking at 95 yj with the 4cyl this weekend there asking $4000 I think price is reasonable but I’m not sure
Spray the frame with fluid film
Good very well ✌️✌️😎😎✌️✌️
Looks very nice, any tapping from the engine, as 240, 000 lots of miles

I bought the same Jeep, some months ago, where are you located?
Looking at a 95 Sahara, automatic with 192k on the odometer for $5209. Looks to be unmolested and pretty clean.
Good deal or no?
Hi. I have a 1988 YJ. With the 2.5L and AX5 transmission. I’m located in Daytona Beach Florida. Where are about you in Florida??
I just bought a 1994 green same nut meg interior 77k original miles
My 95 237,000 mi
has stayed alive with Rockauto parts. Super low prices. Fast delivery.
What tire size had?
I’m sorry to inform you that those are actual miles, miles do not accumulate while towing that vehicle.

Are the 91-95 years fuel injected ? I’m looking on getting one soon!
This one is a fuel injected 4 cylinder.
Yes, 91-95 both 2.5L & 4.0L are EFI
I would have held out for a 6 cylinder with the ax-15 5-speed transmission.
All that can be done later. I wanted white and tan.
just picked up 95 YJ with 190k miles with no rust or accident i paid $1k with bad engine head
Good deal. Local junkyard may have a 4L to out in it.
