Who else votes for Jeep to get this concept into production? The FC making a comeback would be amazing!
They're afraid from TOYOTA, in our country middle east, Saudi Arabia the only seceded & reliable car against our tough terrain and extremely hottest climate in the world, are two 4x4 cars Toyota land cruiser series and Nissan patrol series cars.
Jeeb cars design is fantastic and good as a brand new cars, but it won't last longer without facing lots of issues, specially the engine heat, cardan shift and differential gear issues..
Toyota in brief, is the best, just filling gas, do regular oil changes and changing brake pads.. That's set! and will keep going long after 250,000 miles and beyond with city and off road driving..
@@fahadaalmansour OK, assuming that the 3.6 Pentastar V-6 is a better, more reliable engine than the 3.9 Magnum V-6 than there should be no worries. I have the 3.9 Magnum V-6 in my Dodge Dakota and I have 269K and counting.
@@mr.intensity2685 now put those miles on it in the middle east. Different story. The Dakota wont cut it.
@@Billy28376 the middle east has a few different biomes so temperature, humidity and terrain aren't uniform across the area. In the dry and deserty areas the dakota would be a beast.
@@fahadaalmansourI 100% agree. Here in Australia the Toyota Land Cruiser has been the pinnacle of 4x4 excellence. Capable of dealing with the harsh Australian conditions. It would be amazing if the Land Cruiser 70 series could be converted in this way. Expanding on an already built for purpose 4x4 platform.
Ah, I remember when Jeeps didn't need to be "trail rated." You just knew they were. This brings that back.
First in a long time I've seen such a great modern interpretation of an old/classic vehicle. Great job!!!
Jeep needs to make this FC concept a reality. Would be so badass!
Not only is it cool - its functional. A cab forward 4x4 ute (pick up)- more cargo area, less overall length. There is a massive hole in the market for this. I for one would buy one for sure. Where do i sign the petition?
Reminds me of the MB Unimog, that's been around since forever. Chrysler, if you're reading or listening, BUILD THIS.
3 cylinder 2 stroke supercharged diesel... now thats weird
The only 3 cylinder 2 strokes I've ever see have been bikes! Suzuki GT250, 380, and 750!
Also, not much engine braking with a 2 stroke.
Detroit Diesel made the 3-53 diesel for many years in many different applications. Biggest fault is that they were very noisy.

It is as if Jeep made their own version of the unimog, very awesome.
Personally, this is the coolest thing Jeep has made in a long long time.
I like the wide wheel base. It looks well designed.
the 1964 jeep forward sounds like my lawnmower!!!
A truly fantastic vehicle, aesthetically beautiful.
I'm 30 years old, fully employed and dead center in Jeeps target demographic.
I would purchase this TOMORROW!
Please bring this to market.
Amazing vehicle, I would buy one asap if jeep put them in production!
Sweet Jesus Jeep needs to put this into production! Finally a Jeep pickup that looks awesome would be made again!
That's the coolest 4x4 truck I have EVER seen !
I never would have considered buying a jeep until now..........Love the colour love the truck
Please build it
I would pay just about any amount of money to have me one of these built. To me, this is by far the coolest of all Jeep Concepts ever. To have the mighty FC and a TJ Brute from AEV along side my trusty TJ would be so awesome.
That looks SO FUN TO DRIVE! And functional too!
I've always wanted one of these. If Jeep made these I'd be all over it.
I wonder what a production version would look like.
a new Jeep FC would be AWESOME!!!
That Jeff Gordon Pepsi commercial was awesome. That guy was so cool when he was laying down the smooth sales talk. He lost it real quick. He probably soiled his pants.
What a great dude. That Crew Cab needs to come back! Think the Jeep Truck is already on its way
I would love it if Jeep sees all of these positive comments and puts this into production for the 2013 model year.
That thing looks awesome!!
I sooooooo wish they’d brought this to market!?! My grandfather had a 58 fc170 and I loved it.
Maybe a kit even!
If only Jeep would put the FC into production. It has a great look and appeal
Classics never die!
Very cool, i like how it still has somewhat of an oldscholl thing to it, id buy it just like it is on here
Best vehicle what ive seen for many years!
Build this thing!!! Change the color of the interior and plaid and I'm sold!
Great Work, Congrats.
Love the vids. Keep it up MotorTrend.
well done lads. fab machine!
Pass this on to the folks that design your production trucks. My friend has a Liberty and we rented a Wrangler in Moab a couple weeks ago. There is so much that's cool about those vehicles. I love that I can pull off a slickrock fin and have to hold up my body weight with my arms. The crawling performance was terrific.
continued...
I'd buy one if jeep ever puts this in production.
Great Effort. The old crew layout also looks very interesting as a variation.
I can imagine a camper on that thing or and expandable tent. Oh my. Exciting!
Never been a big Jeep fan but i would buy one of those!
That is one truly great truck!!!
i love this old and new thing thats going on!
it really works! new design is trying too hard but the old stuff is just classic.
its great though to have the reliability of the latest engineering.
THIS WORKS GUYS, SEND SOME TO THE UK!
Very Nice FC!!!
Better visibility than a Wrangler, Portal Axles too. Nice choices!
The inside is so unexpected when you first see the this vehicle. I like!
Shame this FC never made it further than the concept stage. What a great truck! Much better use of the Wrangler footprint with regard to space, and the break-over angles are phenomenal. I suspect collision/safety regulations prevented them from making an FC like this, but they should have. If I had the resources, I'd start a company doing aftermarket conversions of Wranglers to FCs. It'd be a niche market for sure, but I bet I'd be busy!
Safety regulations were absolutely the cause, your legs ARE the crumple zones!
Never seen one of these before. It's like the American Unimog. Pretty sweet!
They were around in korea but this one is updated and restored
Unimog is far superior in every way
Looks so old but so awsome too!
Love it. Very similar to my 404 Unimog.
I love it. Especially seeing the same axel that's used on a Unimog
Jeep, please produce this, I will definitely buy one! I already have a 2012 Wrangler... Next is a 2013(?) Mighty FC!!!
This guy is lucky to have a dream job. And that original FC is priceless. If they built the Mighty FC, and priced it right, they would sell a ton of them. It looks to be instant gratification, and that's where most people are these days. That concept is one cool MF. Well done.
Ok, that's a Jeep that I'll definitely buy.
Like some people have commented it is a lot like a Unimog but smaller, the parts would be cheaper to replace and very ideal for work or adding a camper very very nice concept.
very nice truck
I would totally buy one of these with a sweet camper shell or something to sleep in when im out on the trails.
this is totally rad amigo
"It’s only a 1-of-1 concept Jeep at this point. As far as we know there are no plans to offer a production version. The automatic transmission was used to simplify the control mechanisms needed to operate the vehicle."
- John Cappa
Jeep finally came to it's senses!!
タイヤがはみ出てますね!! ダブルキャブのトラックが最高にいいですね!!
If Jeep builds the FC...dealers would have a hella hard time keeping them in stock!
jeep fc is my biggessssssssst love !!!!💙💙
Yup. I want one!
Yeah I need one of these
beautiful machine!
Mark you are CRAZY!!! GOGOGOGOGOGO!!!
Cool trucks!
This would be a huge money maker for jeep!
That thing is a pure work horse!
Bet the ausjeepoffroad com members would love to see this in Australia at the Jeep Jamboree in Sept 2012!!
my a toyota guy but i`ll love to have this thing park on my garage!!!!! awesome work!!!
Awesome thanks
Please do a video like this for the J12 truck, i want to see more of that truck.
It's cool but there's something about the Mighty FC that just brings out the little kid in me and makes me want to drive around offroad like I did with my matchbox cars lol
good job Jeep, keep it up!
If jeep made them I'd buy one for sure. In fact I'd love any jeep truck built off the wrangler platform.
holy shit. this is exactly what iv been looking for, for years!!! why are we not funding this? i want one!
Sooo Cool!
As long as I can fit a pair of dual sport bikes in the back I am in love. I know the answer would be no, but I would love to see a modern supercharged two stroke in the updated version.
I want one, Jeep needs to make this!
iv never wanted ANYTHING more than i want this
What would you buy if you won the lottery? One of these, mando!😎
They have my vote that's for sure
Absolutely love it. I've been holding off buying a JK in hopes that Jeep will start producing a truck, whether it's a JK-based truck or one of these FCs. If Jeep decides to manufacture this FC, I'll order one the day they become available. Until then I'll make do with my TJ and my YJ.
I'll take one, that thing is awesome!
A modern version of the Pinzgauer - SOLD!!!!!
that thing is awesome
This thing is such a beast! Imagine the power of it! I would totally buy this. I don't care how bad the interior is I will by it. I'm not going to cruise around with it in town it is for 4x4 purposes only
"It’s not really designed to be a production vehicle. However, in the ‘50s and ‘60s when there was a production Jeep FC offered, it was intended for contractors, ranchers, or anyone that needed a 4x4 that could maneuver into tight areas."
- John Cappa
LOVE THIS WANT THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They would sell a boat load of these things if only the built it.
Look how big of a hit the 4 door JK was.
I've never bought a domestic brand in my life, other than a few H2s, but I would buy this in a heart beat!
JEEP, get Lee back and BUILD THIS STUFF.
+John Benda A few H2s?
+GhostZodick yeah like hummers
+John Benda I think the Nukizer would of sold
I love this thing
Looks like they are trying to be the Landrover Forward Control, but yes please, if you build it buyers will come!
love it.
Jeep NEEDS to build this!
I want this thing to hit regular production!! BUILD IT!
I WANT THIS JEEP NOW
build it! ill buy one in a heartbeat
That shh cray. Love it.
Want this would go buy one tomorrow if they actually made them
Yep, I want one too, but in a quad cab, like the old Army one.
