Whole Lotta Love was my very first Zeppelin song as well. Heard on the radio when I was 9 and ask for it immediately. I blame them for me still playing in a rock band at age 60. Saw them in 77.
I grew up in the 70's with Zeppelin and so many other bands, the best rock music decade in history. I feel sorry for you younger people that missed it, it was pure magic; long live rock!
Twists and turns are commonplace in the arrangements of Led Zepplin’s music; but they work seamlessly together. And that’s only one aspect of the immense talent in this band. I think their music sounds as fresh and original today, as it did five decades ago.
Hey Shiloh, this song has one of the most iconic riffs ever. More Led Zeppelin? Check out "In My Time of Dying" "Ten Years Gone" "Fool In The Rain" "When the Levee Breaks"
A great track to start with. One of their earlier tunes and is the one that introduced me to the band as I was walking home from school back in the 1969 or so with my transistor radio. As the Beatles were to the 60s, LZ was to the 70s. You are in for a great journey.
I went to the Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach during the one year it was open and rode Led Zeppelin The Ride! As you are in line, they start to play this song. It keeps playing when you sit down to start the roller coaster ride through the speakers in each seat. When he does the yell is when you start down the big hill. It was amazing!
Ramble On, Black Dog, Rock n Roll, Immigrant Song, Kashmir, Levee Breaks, Stairway to Heaven, Dazed and Confused, Over the Hills and Far Away, Misty Mountain Hop, .. are some more Led Zeppelin songs you might like
Welcome back, Shiloh! Nice to see you again! Led Zeppelin had so many great songs you will be still reacting to them months from now! React to ,”Since I’ve been loving you “ 1973 live at Madison square garden. Stay with the MSG performances and do,” The Song Remains the Same / The Rain Song”. Then “ Stairway to Heaven “, “Rock and Roll” finally “whole latta Love” all live from 1973 msg. By now you will be blow away thinking how could it get any better. Thanks for pulling the Led out for us!Please - Don’t stop there as we Led Heads love watching people discover this legendary band! Those four graced us with the widest array of rock / rock - blues / blues / folk - rock, mixed in with hints of jazz out of all the rock groups out there. Every tune / album was different! Never stagnant.💎💎💎 They were arguably THE # ☝️ best rock band to ever form. SINCE I’VE BEEN LOVING YOU - album version - solid soulful blues and top Plant vocals. Live version is excellent too. Amen! 🙌🏼🌞
Led Zeppelin and Steppenwolf were the first two groups that ignited my love of hard rock & heavy metal! I had every album of theirs, and I kept them at my best friends house because my mom didn't like them! He and I would go into his father's den and listen to music while we did our homework! "Kashmir" from Celebration Day, their last ever concert... when the greatest beast of all time entered the stage for a last reminder how big, power- and beautiful it still is.
Led Zeppelin is a hugh and brilliant rabbit hole, enjoy!!!👍✌😄
You will never be the same. I am jealous you first time listening to L.Z. They are mostly the blues, but they cover all genres! You have entered the rabbit hole known as Led Zeppelin!😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 now you will start to lear why we call them the GOAT, OF THE GOATS!
So happy you like the song Shiloh! Almost 1K likes on the first day!!!!
I was 12 when John Bonham passed away so I didn't get to see them live. As a teen I did get to see the movie "Song remains the same" with all the concert footage from their legendary performance at MSG in 1973 in a movie theater and it changed my life! I highly recommend the vids from this performance so you can see the greatness of these musicians live at their peak! Stairway to heaven and Since I've been loving you are a must!
Never stagnant.💎💎💎
They were arguably THE # ☝️ best rock band to ever form. SINCE I’VE BEEN LOVING YOU - album version - solid soulful blues and top Plant vocals. Live version is excellent too.
THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME coupled with THE RAIN SONG - LIVE AT MADISON SQUARE and STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN = the bands spectacular mixed rock ballad and they were at THE TOP of their long 10 year or so hiatus... in their prime of fame, literally infamous, steamy-hot rock walking and musical sex on a stick! 🔥🔥🔥
Timeless ROCK GODS with too many great tunes and wide array of performances and different styles to pick a fav. tune. Amen! 🙌🏼🌞
Led Zeppelin and Steppenwolf were the first two groups that ignited my love of hard rock & heavy metal! I had every album of theirs, and I kept them at my best friends house because my mom didn't like them! He and I would go into his father's den and listen to music while we did our homework! This started when we were only 8 years old, and this started my obsession some 55 years ago! Listening to Led Zeppelin takes me back to those days!
I love how your eyes go really open when you hear something good or unexpected lol
She is a beautiful young lady and truly fun to watch. You are awesome Shiloh! Rock On, Vic. 😊
