23 years later, I still get goosebumps every time I hear Bret's '97 theme.
Same here 😍😍
Was used way before 97’
That guitar riff if tattooed in my mind.
It fkn sucks that we don’t get the 97 theme Bret whenever he returns to wwe and instead we get the crappy remixed version… I hate vince
Sorry but his original theme was better IMO
You can really tell Jim Cornett respects Bret Hart. Some people give Bret shit about taking wrestling too seriously, but Jim loves that.
Jim still admits that Bret can take HIMSELF too seriously
He just publicly apologized for this exact comment on youtube clip concerning the new A&E Hittman bio
@@jonbaird8835 check out his review of the a&e bret hart biography show he apologised and respects him even more than ever.
Jim has come to appreciate that because he feels like nobody takes it seriously anymore.
It should be taken seriously. Look at what happened to him. Also heard from cornete brett re assures people that he works with that he'll take care of them in the ring
Jim Cornette is thinking, "OMG somebody who takes wrestling as seriously as I do..." That is a nice big genuine smile on his face.
Hated that WWE changed his music for his return. Probably one of the most iconic wrestling themes.
Even the original Jimmy Hart version was better than that awful remake.
Still prefer his Hart foundation tag team theme it was a kick ass theme guitar 2nd theme but I always prefer original Hart foundation theme
Amen!
Yeah I’ll never understand why they did that
@@Bobbywoodhogan To screw Bret.
Look at how happy Corny is during this, the guy loves wrestling so much. He might shit talk people but at the end of the day he's really just "working" to get people interested in wrestling still. He heard the reaction for Bret and his face lit up, Corny lives for that shit. Last of a dying breed.
He's not Working!
He gives you his honest take!
Jim has always expressed great respect for Bret Hart. To see him thrilled at his appearance should be no surprise. LOL
Facts!
The old grumpy hate spreader has exposed so much of business on his podcasts , it’s Funny given the fact yall dumb cult members of his cornette fan club consider him some expert , yet forget that he is the one exposing the business. Well, since controversy creates cash, this is why he is pretty much relevant to you dumb azzes even to this day despite being banned and fired from every wrestling place in the world lmao. Open your eyes. He just speaks sh*t to earn money for the sake of speaking sh*t in the name of “protecting the business”.
The only reason he is famous is same reason as why people watch news. They attract negative.
Jesus Christ what a robotic comment
0:14 Cornette: "You didn't pay the electrical bill"
It was good but it was completely forgotten when Bret's music started
I was at one of Bret's one man shows in 2012, and when that guitar riff hit for his entrance to the stage i got goosebumps at 26 as i did aged 7-8 watching him on TV. A moment i'll never forget, and to meet him afterwards was an honour.
"He never lost it"
God damn, Corny is quick. Hella quick
Being there for this is one of the greatest moments of my life, thank you so much for uploading it to UA-cam.
I was there mate, but not an uploader of this video or anything. Post as a regular comment or tweet Inside The Ropes, they may help out. I'd be dying to even hear it too!
Did Jim Ross and Jim Cornette actually know that Bret was coming out? Or were they really caught off guard?
Was this a surprise appearance?
@@obaidbaig2058 Yep, he wasn't billed to appear at all. We just thought it'd be a chat with the two Jims!
@@TheSoundTest Couldn't ask for a better surprise!
Dang, JR was ready to give up his microphone to Bret Hart. Talk about respect.
Seeing a crowd of adults jump up like children with excitement gave me goosebumps
Bret interrupted Bret.
Shoregrey Hahaha
Wow lmfaooo what a geeza
😆 Brilliant
Vince logic
1997 was a great year in wrestling storylines/events/success
It was the ultimate year for WWF
I say 1998 was the greatest year for Pro Wrestling in North America but 1997 was very damn good though..
I know evil Vince McMahon was the final piece in the puzzle but damn there was still gas left in the tank for Bret in the WWF. Feuds with the Rock, Ken Shamrock, Kurt Angle and occasionally revisiting him vs Austin. Hell maybe a few of the Canadian wrestlers like Sean Morley and Andrew Martin benefit by being in a pro Canada stable led by Bret.
Lights go out
You didn't pay the electric bill
Lol 🤣
Jim one funny guy
Made the long arse journey up to London even sweeter! Absolutely fantastic surprise and a great show nicely done!
Ladies (all 2 of you in this section), find yourself a man that looks at you the way Jim Cornette looks at Bret Hart.
I got goosebumps when brets music hit
That riff is SO AMAZING
Looks like the crowd didn't know what was gonna happen until the announcement 😄
Wrestlings full of snakes, but these three guys are pure class. Would have loved to have been there.
Cornette and "Pure Class" is HIGHLY debatable.
@killwalker 2019 Corny is crass and obnoxious at times, but he has a good heart. Class may not be the right word, but there's definitely the implied integrity in this specific use of the word "class".
JR AND Corny were in on the screwjob.
Cornette and JR love them some Bret Hart and vise versa.
Look at Cornette's promoter skills, he holds his mic in direction of the crowd, knowing a chat was breaking out.
Bret Hart is the greatest of all time second to none. Love you Bret. My childhood hero.
What a moment! Where is the rest of the interview? Cornette is happy like a kid... 😁😁
cornette's happy? Im fucking happy lol but seriously tho where is the rest
How can you not love Bret Hart?
These 3 on a stage together spells magic!!!
A Bigger Pop Than His 2010 Return To Raw! WHY CHANGE THE ENTRANCE THEME WWE?
I know that newer version is terrible
Tony Montana I was a lifelong fan until a couple years ago.
Tony Montana keep in mind that Vince made wrestling as well, and now triple h will "save" it
That figure was Raw & Nitro combined some weeks, not Raw by itself.
Wrestling had been "made" long before Vince got ahold of it.
you knew it was coming, but still that guitar squeal! goosebumps man!
Fuck I love Bret. A real man of integrity
The greatest of all time.
bret hart n the hart foundation my favorites
The harts had/have such a big family and bret has gone through some of the worst tragedies and bad luck. Its amazing that hes the one who’s survived everything! God bless hitman!
Love how Jim Cornette acts completely surprised by bret showing up. Ever the showman 😂
What is saying that he already knew that he would be there?
@@Millwall77 eh. Course he knew
where is the full interview?
The full interviews in front of live audiences do not get released. It's meant to be a special showing strictly for those that bought tickets.
There is no dvd to buy even if you wanted to.
What about the people who live overseas?
@@TimMullins2 What a load of complete shit.
That is how you do it!!!! I love it. Look at that pop!!! I felt that pop at home.
For a moment I thought somebody started a Fuck You Bret chant at the end lol.
Wow this was just great. I saw it a little differently but it was still great. I saw the 1988 - 1990 WCW PPV and COTC announce team and the WWF IC champion meeting.
BRET NEVER FORGETS About his FANs always returns... DAAMN NEVER UPSETS
Love that no one reacted until the host got up and announced him XD
I still get goosebump from Brets Theme
That guitar screech will never ever get old!
Ugh, no words to describe how much I admired the hitman. Him, hogan n undertaker were the three pillars for me. As a kid, they represented God like strength, power of darkness n perfection.
I’m wondering guys ,if the entire Interview could be found somewhere online ?
Corny ,JR and Bret ?
If they talk for a entire day straight I would listen to them endlessly..
God bless them all 😍😍
3 of my all time favourite wrestling personalities, this was awesome💜
Bret evaded greeting Ross as much as possible in this clip...lol
I noticed that too.
This makes me emotional for some reason 😂
3 of my favorite guys 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
luv the hitmans music
Is there the full video of this someone can post a link to???
Damn that announcement was sick!
Thank god they used the original music theme
I love Bret Hart he was one of my favorites as a kid
I was there and it was incredible
The U.K. crowd always love Bret Hart.
This is quite epic.
Did the audience not know Bret Hart was coming?
Swear i want that Guitar Riff Played Walking through Heaven Lol Its just THINGS OF LEGEND MAN
I was at this show 👍🏾
How to watch full show
Great job kenny really enjoyed the show
i NEED to go to one of these
I popped and I was at home! The Hitman baby!!!
How do you pop for a clip with the surprise in the title.
The goat.
Wish I was there
Hearing that oldschool hitman music sends goosebumps
That theme still hits hard as fuck.
I like how the first 10 seconds of the song no body popped
JC is marking out just as much as anybody! Lol love it
Amazing
Where's the Raw Rundown and Smackdwon Summary?
NICE POP FOR BRET HITMAN HART IN LONDON !!!!
No matter what people say about him, i really Love and respect the bret hart.
This got a louder pop than any WWE entrance in the last 15 years.....
No one reacted when the riff dropped. I guess they might have thought hbk was playing a prank and didn't want to fall for it.
My Childhood.
That was soooooo cool!
That's amazing.
So he gave cornette a hug and by passed jim Ross lmao
He shook Jim's hand first. Cornette seemed to go in for the hug and Bret reciprocated.
What are they chanting?
0:26 Cornette on his chair LOL
I knew the holy sh*t chants were coming right after he showed up haha
Jim cornette was a kid again for a second.
That theme hits and suddenly I transform into a 9yr old kid again.
Ty Bret The Hitman Hart
Best there was, Best there is, Best there ever will be.💯👑
Kenny went crazy with the intro
Nice to enter to his old music
Jim just mentioned this episode as the last time he has been with Brett.
I feel as though once a wrestler is injured to the point of never being able to take another bump lest his head explode, the 'you still got it' chants become... less accurate.
as someone who was at this event, I can confidently say the moment was was too fantastic to not mark out over. Who gives a fuck about accuracy when an already incredible show drops this amazing bomb?
Well I think my comment shows that I give a fuck. I lay no blame at your feet, nor at the feet of anyone in attendance. The energy and excitement in the room seemed such that you could have been made to chant your bank details or a list of your greatest fears, so swept along were you by the majesty of the moment. The blame for this must lie at the feet of Jim Ross. He could have picked any chant to start, but he chose that one. Legend? Yes. The greatest at what he did? Yes. Wrong? Absolutely.
From your videos you seem like a genuinely nice fellow, why are you blowing up an inconsequential show of appreciation purely to provide cynical perspective on what is essentially a nice and very positive thing? Seems... pointless.
'Tis the internet, dear sir. Where pedantry reigns, logic rests and the disabled are mocked until throats are raspy and sore.
But thanks for looking at my videos! So YOU'RE the one...
This song slaps
What theatre was this
Bret shakes Jr's hand first @ 0:34 pipe down marks.
I would've loved to be there
crowd went fucking nuts
Chills & goosebumps when Bret's 1st note is hit..
* damn I wanted to hear what JR & Cornette were about to say about the 1997 ScrewJob.
You can talk about "Shattering Glass" and "Car crash"
But when you hear that pinch harmonic hit on that guitar you are gonna be on your feet before he's finished the pick slide
The Best There Is
The Best There Was
And The Best that EVER WILL BE
WHAT AN ENTRANCE!!!!
They thought that it was the undertaker lol
can the fool scream into the mic some more? i love the over modulation
Weird how the audience didn't pop when his entrance theme came on. What were they expecting to happen?😦
Probably confused has hell since Bret wasnt advertised
The greatest wrestler ever
That entrance was dope as fuck
