I really appreciate your commitment to showcasing the potential and quality of the Tone Master Pro. So many other channels crapped on it from the start and haven't given it a second look. It seems like it got swept up in a tide of negativity that is challenging to break. These units, like many of the other companies offerings, require time to play with and exploit the myriad of features they have to offer.

Thank you for the comment. A true artist masters his tools. If a painting sucks, no one blames the brush. I think this is the best brush for me to paint time with, I enjoy the simplicity, but also how fun it is. I’m plane Jane. I don’t need every feature under the sun to sound like me.

Damion has NEVER failed me. I’ve been using the Marshall 800 amp for my standard amp. Since I at least try things that Damion suggests, I created a patch this morning having watched this video with the JC amp - plus pedals and his IR and I have since changed every patch using this setup. Once again…great advice. Thank you!

Just found you on my home page. This was quite helpful … and I’ve used a GTX50 for 3 years with a Acoustasonic Strat … but mostly using Fender’s presets (have really liked JC Chorus and Super Reverb). This info gives me more understanding and better control. Thanks.

I’m glad you’re enjoying! What’s your current workflow like with the TMP?

@@damionandy Well … it’s not sophisticated. I’m trusting that Fender’s engineers got the basic parameters down for each preset. As there are 189 of those, I have been trying all sorts. I have an Acoustasonic Stratocaster and an Epiphone hollow body Joe Pass Emperor II … both are prone to feedback on the edgy presents. But dialing back gain usually fixes that. So … mostly, I get a preset, set the guitar volume to 80%, find an appropriate master volume, then fiddle with the guitar pickups and tone knob. If that sounds fine, I’m pretty good. If not, I’ll adjust the preset. More often, I just go to another preset. I have no audio training. And my guitar chops are still in the beginner phase. As a result, I’m best served by practicing so I’ve learned to like a given tone quickly or move on. For the Stratocaster and my Taylor acoustic, I’ve really liked using the acoustic amp model with everything set at 5.0 and a bit of small hall reverb. Close your eyes, and both sound so much like a well miked acoustic. In the end, you can see why I liked your video so much. After 3 years, it’s time to take a deeper dive into the world of possibilities I’ve avoided.

Hahahaha. The JC120 sounds amazing on here. I use my juicy cleans preset for most things I do. Welcome to life of ease homie. Let me know how the TMP compares to the real deal when you get it

Search "Damion Andy" on the cloud. The only downside is I didn't save this as I went and THE MOMENT my dog came into my studio, he switched presets - erasing this one :( Learn a lesson from my mistake.
