I love how in five there is so many conflicts and there's Abs who has been through the most shit and just so positive and wants to make it right, wants everyone to get on well. He was always my favorite.
I understand them all feeling threatened by Blue. Most of them weren't known for all being solid vocalists (rightly so or not) and Blue was always taken a bit more seriously because it was audible and visible that they were ALL good vocalists in their own right.
I'll be honest ok I saw the big reunion boy band tour 2014 in my hometown of Aberdeen unfortunately missed THIS one gutted and these bands well some of them are guilty pleasures of mine but I'll say this as amazing as 911 5ive and A1 WERE etc at that concert I've gotta say blue came on and kicked the shit out of everyone they were so so so good
@@jeniestra. Atomic Kitten were also very well known, just because they didn't make it into the USA doesn't mean anything. I mean, 'Whole Again' being the song most sung back by the crowd on The Big Reunion speaks for itself.
Being a 90's child, I loved all these bands, especially Blue, but even I feel that it is unfair the way they just waltz in on the other bands when they have been training and practising hard!
Stevie Wonder and Mariah Carey hold the distinction of doing duets with Boy Bands from The U.S. and UK. Stevie worked with 98 Degrees on "Be True To Your Heart" tom Mulan while Mariah Carey duets with 98 Degrees and Joe with Thank God I Found You" then A Cover of "Against All Odds" with Westlife
why dont they concentrate on themselves instead of blue! i feel sorry for both parties but i dont think blue have done anything wrong, and it feels like its really mean of everyone to get together and be mean about blue
+Nat Fontoura well, Honeyz showed more than once that they liked them a lot, also Blue were very supportive to them during the actual concert in the episode 9. I think they all generally like them, but a few of them may have shown it a lot more than others. Also, it was so obvious how Kerry was disapointed that J didnt come, you could tell she was really looking forward to seeing him there XD
I think Five had the better songs, but Blue overall had the better singers Five was more like a accessable East 17 and Blue was closer to Take That or Westlife
Blue wouldn't have made it on US Soil. They would have been mocked as a 98 Degrees/Boyz To Men Tribute Group. Simon did well for a hot minute as a Dot Commer but you have to be like Kenny Rogers "You Gotta Know When To Hold Them And When To Fold Them", one of their other Songs I think was either recorded by Montell Jordan or Next an R & B Group.
@@musiclover_kb4913 Thanks for the confirmation. I thought it would be so cool for 98 Degrees and Color Me Badd to do a Tour with Blue but after seeing what happened with Color Me Badd it was awful. Bryan the lead singer became bloated and addicted to alcohol, had domestic violence issues and even got involved with Domestic Violence. He hurt his former Partner Mark Calderon (The George Michael Clone), during a Show in Las Vegas and they lost a chance to do a Residency there. Sam Waters, The Dark Haired One is now a successful Music Producer whose Wife is Tamyra Grey who everyone thought would win American Idol but she didn't, it was Kelly Clarkson while Kevin Thornton is a Pastor.
It just goes to show that you can be hooked up with the best Producer/Songwriter/Record Company Executive it doesn't mean Pop Gold/Platinum. Will Young flops in this Boy Band created by Simon Cowell which was probably next to Girlthing one of his biggest professional failures and embarassments at that time. Sudden Impact hooked up with Michael Bivins of New Edition/Bell Biv Devoe Fame and didn't make it. Maurice Starr who created New Kids On The Block thought he could take his Son's Group Perfect Gentlemen and turn them into stars but that didn't happen also. Cute Kids/Small Voices. Also Lou Pearlman (That Perv) created The Backstreet Boys and N'Sync but his other Groups US5, and C Note didn't make it and his Third Group O-Town got screwed over big time bad and didn't make a dime although they had a Number One Hit and Platinum Album. Also Javine Hylton who didn't make Girls Aloud also did Eurovision and didn't go far either.
twelve98 not sure if your being serious? five couldnt break the american market even though simon cowell tried all the known gimmicks. blue had a few hit singles in america. it was r&b era and america at that time was very into r&b, and blue was more r&b, so it was easier for them to break into the scene. other bands in this show were mainly popular in uk/europe and a few in asia as well. blue had greater reach i think.

Natasha is soooooooo cute. from when she ran to join in 5ive's dancing and now she's like a cute little fan sneaking to watch them awwww
Thats why she is a 4x4 mum, she is obviously a massive flirt and it probably annoys the hell out of her partners and they split
@@SecretOfMonkeyIsland784 yup
11 years too late to reply and i highly agree
Love the fact the video has 'Malta Sarah' stamped on it for our viewing pleasure
i would love an acoustic/piano version of five singing “when the lights go out”! thanks for posting this series 😊

Even though nowadays, Simon is the most consistent in live performances. In fact, he 's ALWAYS been the most consistent.
Not threatened just annoyed.... blue know this was happening from day 1 so why..... didn’t they start from day 1 like the other bands did?
I have always loved BLUE!!!
Shame that Jay did not come back for this...
Edele and Sean should do their own thing. Both are whiny and annoying, they'd make a great duo.
BLUE guys are so fineeeeeeee!
Is it me or does Abz looks like Aaron Carter but with black hair?
You see it too? 🤣
This will be One Direction in 15 years time.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Famous last words...

i love the songs of BLUE & i love them 4!!!..also include honeyz..😍😍
No offence, I find 5ive's split up story is the most entertaining to watch!! they are the best selling group among all of them anyway!
Aries7 actually that would be Atomic Kitten lol
@Piru Piru Five were huge all over the world and they made it in the US, Blue and Atomic Kitten not. So they were the best selling group of this lot.

I'll be seeing 2 of these bands in 7 months.
How was it
Wow... Edele really isn't a very nice person is she?
TheLizzifer I agree
Charlie Beecher They had a baby together.
TheLizzifer who has she not had a baby with?
She's the evil twin
My thing is blue know this was happening from day 1 sooo.... why didn’t they start day 1 when the other bands did?
For the drama….😅
Still love me some 5ive ❤
Does anyone in the show like the guys from 5ive, beside Atomic Kitten?
love 'em till now especially Scott n Abz Love~~~

As an American who loves boy bands... I never heard of Blue... they never made it over here.
Because one of them talked about how 9/11 was "blown out of proportion" and whales were more important.
@@JohnDoe-mk3ch what
Blue are acting a bit big headed in this and I think atomic kitten will get better by the end of the series
It was all about 5ive didn't care about the other bands
I noticed alot of UK Boyband/Girlbands "Cover" alot of US Songs. If The Person who wrote it still owns the rights, they get "Paid".

I think you need ‘the song’ to really make it and then more good songs to follow it up.
i don't remember blue being that big at all...
twelve98 they were bigger than any of the bands in this show, i think? they had big success in america too.

Yeah but Quartets don't always have staying power. 98 Degrees and Color Me Badd are living proof of that.
blue are easy the best band their songs was the best the others especially bewitched was crap
Nooo
