Genuinely always felt that Claire felt sad that she had hurt Faye and they weren’t close at the end of Steps.There was an interview when she said she wanted to be Faye’s bridesmaid and I can imagine she genuinely felt gutted to not be there at the 2002 wedding. Glad they made up and I find them such a lovely pairing. Claire always looks proud of Faye in things like Strictly and her theatre shows. Faye always seems like the one member they all genuinely get along with.

feel quite emotional watching this. Steps meant a lot to me when I was a teenager, I used to listen to them all the time- so of course I was crushed when they disappeared. Seeing them larking around, singing blissfully, and full of hope for their future, it chokes me up.
what a nice ending, 10 years after. and i laughed and clapped and cried in the ending scenes. what an emotional one. in this one, H is suddenly the most beautiful for me.

Diana Ross got all of the "Leads" in The Supremes and it created alot of tension. 50 Years Diana Ross left, her former Partners Cindy Birdsong and Mary Wilson ended up broke, and Florence Ballard (1943-1976) died in poverty as well.

Obviously the biggest hits came in the 1960's when Ross was still with the group but that just goes to show how popular she was. It's not the same with Steps...they never had a lead singer.
i agree that they need to shine individually but, the girls actually have stronger vocals, so to catch the audience's ears, they should sing lead. finding a song that suits both Lee and Claire is such a hard work. and i really thought that if Lee sings lead, and the response is not that great, Lee will feel bad himself. but i really hope that they will have their own solo songs, and solo stages in concerts... so they can show their own color. I Love Lee's sincerity
From US so never had heard of Steps. Saw the abbamania performance and liked them.Found this. Went online and saw that they're still performing together in 2017 and 2018. Will be back in London to see them live! Nice to fast forward to the future from this to see that people can get along in the long run!

Exactly!! I’m not happy that they brushed off her emotional and painful memories. If you are in a bad situation mentally you should never stay, not matter about your “friends”. I can only say, that I’m glad she left that environment when she did. Who knows what could have happened. Take Britney, Demi, ANY and all female pop stars. They are under tremendous pressure about image and weight, etc. and if your band mates are mates with you and having your back , even pissed that you are getting the good vocals. Then it’s the exactly the right time to leave.

It’s so refreshing to see that they can actually sing even though their band is usually labelled as ‘techno’ dance music where vocals are not really challenging. Compare that to today, some top selling ‘artist’ (loosely used) can’t hold a tune and Autotune their whole album.
After all, they always being together as a group or a team .. but now, they focused about their longevity. So looking forward about their brand new chapter. 😊👍
I hugely respect Claire's vocals, she is a world-class singer. But I have to say I found both H and Claire deeply unlikeable people. Lisa, Faye and Lee though all came across really well and genuine... I actually like Lisa a lot more than I did before watching this. It's great that they finally got back on track as a group :)
