    Beautiful looking ribs chef! I do mine at 225 low and slow til temp is at 203. Simple salt and pepper seasoning, da bomb! 👌

    Hi Chef, looks awesome. What kind of oil and pellets do you suggest? I can't find the oak/apple/cherry pellets locally.

      Hi David, I like the reserve or signature pellets. I used a canola/olive oil blend for my recipe. Happy Cooking, Chef Jason

    Great video Chef. I haven't smoked beef ribs yet and those look delicious. What grocery store carries them, or do I need to go to a butcher. I love all of your vidoes. Keep smoking!

      ricky atkins check with Costco or Sam’s, if that doesn’t work, try a local butcher. Ask for the short rib plate. Happy Cooking

    Can you use regular ground coffee instead of instant coffee? Will it change the mouth feel at all?

      I’m sure you can, it will be a bit more gritty. I like this micro ground coffee because it sort of melts when it hits moisture. Happy Cooking, Chef Jason

    Trying to find out how many bags of pellets will it take to cook this so I can make sure I have enough onhand? Thanks

      Hi Mike, the pellet burn rate will be determined by how hot you are cooking, the more high temp cooking (400-500 degrees) the more pellets you will burn. On average I would say low and slow can burn around 1# per hour, hot and fast can burn up to 3# per hour. With a 20# pellet hopper, you may get anywhere from 6-20 hours of burn time depending on cook temp and time. Hope this helps. Chef Jason

    FYI. I am surprised to see how much flex the lid has on the Traeger Ironwood 885 Wood Pellet Freestanding Smoker (@7:00) for a grill costing $1,500.00 plus tax and I have to assemble it to boot!

      Jay Johnston you won’t like the weight or feel of any pellet grill until you get around that 2000 dollar mark. Like the timberline series and the Yoder

      The lid doesn’t have a lot of flex, I know it’s seals up nice and keeps in a ton of wood fired flavor.
