What kind of UV's is the clay character being projected? Assuming it is in cubic my hopes are up, but if he's being UV mapped first then my C4D senses will start tingling
redshift permutation is easy,oc permutation is smooth. oc is smooth because it is based on pixel permutation, while redshift is based on model permutation, so it is very clunky. I strongly urge redshift transpose to be as smooth as oc based on pixel transpose.
Jesus! So laggy and boring. I Hope Maxon team simplify this, we don't need all of that complex options just to get a displacement texture. Take Corona and Cycles as example, why to make things harder?
In Cinema 4D 2024 and Redshift 3.5, Maxon Noise seems to have a bug?
Klasse Tutorial!
so awesome, thanks for sharing!
thank you!
The Maxon noise has none of the important controls for scale, contrast etc.
Are those available anywhere?
brilliant as always though
Extremely helpful thank you!
Super clear and helpful! I think ill buy lessons from here
I just wish there weren't so many intermitten steps with Redshift to add displacement. It was so much more straightforward in standard renderer
Redishift was designed by fettish clickers
Amazing.
thanks for sharing. is displacement effect dependent on CPU or GPU render engine?
Displacement can be different in other renders. But its not specific to CPU or GPU. This technique will work for redshift.
Good for me
That's a beautiful lighting/environment setup, is it one of the GSG+ setups?
Thanks! If you want to recreate it, That is one of our HDRIs called Modern Industrial 010 and one Redshift Area Light left of camera.
these arent avialbe in the hub... can I get a manual download please?
Be sure you have the latest version of the Hub. Make sure you contact support if you continue to have issues.
Is it possible to export the displacement as geometry on the object?
You can add displacer deformer to a subdivided object and add noise there (on the level of geometry)
where do i get the monster model?

my object become black, with displacement, how to fix it ?
wooooooow!!!

displacement in Redshift is disgusting there is no UV controls
How to use displacement in this model
