Downwell is a pretty hard game. randomly generated levels, once you die you start all the way over from the start, and when you finally beat the game the second playthrough is much harder

Also tip for the game treat it like a memory puzzle because enemies spawn from the same place every time accept the haunted level with random annoying ghosts. Good luck have fun growing a beard.

Other than the 2 I picked just then I'd also say downwell is up there as one of the hardest plats and an unorthodox one would be injustice, after you beat the hardest battles on injustice you are still looking at over 100 hours of grinding to get max level

Yeah, Natural Doctrine is supposed to be the dark souls of tactical rpgs. It does have pretty low score for some reason, but I actualy really like that game. I have just tried it, and I liked it... then there was one WTF plot twist and it totally hook me in... sadly, I did have some other games to play and did not return to it... but Im constantly thinking that I will play it again... yeah, maybe today.
I haven't gotten very far in Stranger of Sword City, it's definitely on my bucket list. But if it's as difficult as you say I'm not sure if that's a bad thing. XD

Good this list exists. So far all of my games are like sorta hard at highest and baby easy at lowest. Not counting ps1-psp games (looking at you crash bandicoot 1 and 2.
@@PSVitaat2am I'd say mary skelter: nightmares. A JRPG where you have *5* teammates instead of the usual 4 and a playable Navi. The game can be unforgiving with its enemies especially if you speed through a dungeon. And there are disadvantages like your Navi getting stunned, your teammates turn corrupt and hit whoever with whatever, and the nightmare creatures that chases you outside of fights. Heck the dungeon itself has hazards that damages you outside of battles and if you're looking for a hard JRPG go for that one.

Both ninja gaidens are some of my favorite games ever. Both are better on the 360, and even the switch now. But before the switch release being able to take the games on the go was great even with the slow downs that would happen.
Ninja Gaiden was the first game that came to mind. I like the game, but not shooting arrows with the touch pad. That one level where there's a tower with guys shooting explosives at me while I try awkwardly targeting them only to get hit first is just...fdslkdfsaljkadsfladkfg'kj!!!!!!!

I have beaten Ninja Gaiden sigma+ on master ninja difficulty , and have the platinum on the binding of Isaac rebirth on the vita , so I atleast should give a chance to salt and sanctuary, I have it , try it (5min) and just didn't get to it , the same happened when played Darkest dungeon, maybe I should give them another go 🙂

Really excited about it! Although it will be sad to see that this will give people less and less of a reason to play actual PS Vita games on an actual PS Vita, it will also open up this wonderful platform to a whole new generation of gamers out there.
The only game I played on this list is Ninja Gaiden Sigma and it is a pretty solid title. The gameplay experience is fun despite some flaws. I still cannot beat the final fight with Alma consistently. As for a game not on the list, I found Soul Sacrifice Delta difficult especially when I was just starting.
I was thinking about mentioning Darkest Dungeon but that game is actually really easy. Now Lego Harry Potter is the true beast of the Vita. Many broken Vitas can attest to that. Joking aside, Darkest Dungeon is not to be taken lightly. Think about how much you value your Vita before you play this one.

Getting the good ending for Xeno Crisis. Ugh! I swear I played that one probably a thousand times and cannot beat it. You have to beat it without using any continues at all. I can't even beat it on Normal difficulty! I just am not good enough at this game. lol I can beat it with continues, but that gives you the bad ending and you don't even get the final boss battle. ARGGGH!!! Most frustrating Vita game I own! lol
