The flooring looks great, this is the same stuff we used on a home remodel and love that it is waterproof and so easy to install. Can't wait to see the final reno, it is coming along nicely. PS you would be in a lot of trouble if you didn't have your uncle there to guide you....8)
We've heard a lot of conflicting opinions about laminate flooring in an RV, too. Most anecdotes about it don't have happy endings. However, I'm interested to see how yours works out since you left some space for it to expand and move. This is, however, exactly what we plan to put in our bus once we park it. Unless, of course, we're able to salvage enough wood from the house remodel to do the floor as well as everything else.
We really like the look of it, but we’ll have a see how it does after enough time driving it - movement + weather temps are what potentially wreak havoc 🤞
Have you tried Laminate Vinyl Flooring? How did it hold up? We’ll do a review down the road but we’re happy so far!
