Ever since we moved to Colorado we have wanted a Pop-Up Camper. Thankfully a good friend of ours decided to upgrade their camping game so we were able to buy their 1993 Coleman Cedar Pop-Up Camper! They had kept it in great condition but it was still in original condition so it was in need of some upgrading. After watching lots of UA-cam Videos and looking online, we tackled the project! This is part 1 of my multi video series documenting our Pop-Up Camper Remodel where I tackle the demo and install a brand new floor. Enjoy!

Thanks for watching Our Pop-Up Camper Remodel!
That painter tape trick with all the hardware is awesome I’ll def be implementing that!
Awesome! Thanks for letting me know and glad it helped.
We just bought this style camper! Can’t wait to start reno on it!
Awesome! Hope my video series is helpful and hope you have a blast updating it!
How awesome that you have your adorable children doing the video with you! 😍
Thanks for the comment Kelly! Yes I love being able to work on projects with them around and sometimes get to teach them a few things. Hoping my UA-cam work pays off to allow me to be around my kids more!
Nice job! We just bought 95 Coleman Roanoke, which is similar to yours, where the dinette is on the side instead of the end. I'll follow your videos to make updates as you've done. Thanks!
Awesome!! I hope the project goes well. Please send me pictures if you are in Instgram.
Smart idea with the screws I have never thought about doing that I always put them in a cup and sadly forget where they go.
Thanks man. Haha yea I've been there way too many times. Appreciate you taking time to watch and comment.
I love it I'm purchasing one and I just love it I use it for outdoor
Awesome!
I wish I had seen this last year before I gutted mine with your same layout. Darn it!!!
Ahh shoooot!!! Hope yours turned out okay.
Hey! We are some more Bacons and we just bought a pop up too!!
No way!!!
@@diywithandrew yep! Gene and Tami Bacon
How is the flooring holding up after the past few years? Did you have to use any additional glue to hold the peel n stick down? Also any reason you didn’t just stick the new floor over the old floor?
The flooring has actually held up really well! It hasn't come up at all. The only thing it did was contract a little bit on the ends creating small gaps between the vertical sides (smaller ends) because of how much our climate fluctuates here in Colorado. All in all I am very happy with it. That's a great question on what I didn't just lay it over the top. I think I am too much of a perfectionist and I didn't want the added weight since the overall weight of the trailer is a factor for towing. Hope that helps!
@FieldTreasureDesigns what is your Jayco model number ?
Have you had any problems with the peel & stick flooring gaps due to expansion/contraction?
Great question. Yes there has been a little separation on the ends here and there but not the sides.
I bought the same one. When we pulled up the old floor you could see the driveway. Turned out to be a total rebuild and it wasn’t fun. Yours looks great though.
Dang dude sorry to hear that but I’m sure you crushed the rebuild. And thanks! I appreciate you taking time to watch and share.
Great job 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!!!
We just bought a similar pop up camper and I came across your video. How long did it take to lay the flooring down?
Awesome! Not long. Just a couple of hours.
do you know if your buddy you got this from did a axle flip or spacer lift by chance?
I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure it’s the stock clearance.
Hi was wondering about your curtains. Did you say they are shower curtain? Where did you purchase them and how many sets did you need? Thanks
Great question! We bought them at Walmart and it was at least 4 or 5 sets. Maybe even 6. Hope that helps.
Nice!
Thanks!!!
Do you have a link for the peek and stick that you used? Looking back would you also use an additional adhesive or compound under the peel and stick for extra reinforcement?
Thanks for the comment! I am completely blanking on where I used the peel and stick. Which part was that on again?
It was used for the flooring. Has it held up well with use?
@@wyattdrost8401 Oh right! Thank you. Yes I think the "sticking" on the back of each was sufficient but I doubt it would hurt to add another spray adhesive or something. Here's a link: amzn.to/3I4oCSb and also.. thd.co/3sQ5Qrk
What year make and model is this camper
