@@jorgesaenz8986 I can't speak for your personal experiences, but I would imagine what you're getting at can be said about all groups of people..."Mannerly respect" towards ones you don't know, people you may pass in the street, or anywhere else as you go through your day, has all but disappeared. I'm in my mid-fifties, and have seen and lived through the change I believe you're talking about. I don't like the direction we as a species are going...kinda makes me sad. For lack of a better way to put it, "self-centeredness" has run amok. Now, I don't want to come across as some depressed, sulking, "boo-bird" or anything. I love the life I've led and have had some really wonderful, joyous times. But, on the whole, I sometimes worry about the kind of world myself, and my generation are leaving my daughter to deal with...as well as ALL children and young people. While technology has certainly advanced by leaps and bounds, our "humanity" seems to be going in the opposite direction. The gaps between religion, race relations, social and economic discrimination have widened. We haven't done a very good job and it makes me feel "ashamed" sometimes. Will my generation in future history books be known as the first to leave the world in worse shape for our children than the world that we were born into? That's a question that'll have to be answered by future generations.

@@jchunter21 NO IT CAN'T. 3 things can happen if u take tabs after a terror trip. 1) you have a flashback to a terror trip 2) you go into psychosis and believe you're still tripping and the real world isn't real after the trip. 3) you have a regular trip (by some miracle). I experienced dying two different times on Salvia 30x... I just went into another dimension. Imagine what you would see at birth but the opposite, the zipper of life closes. After that, I was a spirit of some sort and I went back where I lived when I was about 2 years old. When I gain my consciousness back, I touched my legs to see if I was really back in reality and stood up so fast. Very hard to explain how real it felt since you go in another world.

@@jacobperry3129 So to strart this I want to say that smoking Salvia and eating it have very different effects because of how it gets to the bloodstream and how the chemical compound might change a little bit. I've done Salvia quiet a few times. the highest I did was x80 Salvia Extract. And I also have other psychedelics aswell. One thing I can tell you from Salvia, is that's very deffirent than anything other psychedelics. To answer you question is that when you are on Salvia you're mentally NOT here anymore. Unlike DMT or Shrooms where you know that you're in the park tripping ball but you are still "aware". With Salvia, you are not really here with us. You can go on trip that will feel like years and maybe even decades, but in reality it only lasted like 7 minutes. You can experience a whole life while you're tripping. It's like a dream. and when you come back or should I say come down from your trip you instantly realise that you were tripping and back to normal. At that point for a breif couple of minutes after the trip you feel as if you were spiritually detached from you body...physically. Like there is HUGE feeling of dissociation when you come back from the trip and it lasts like 30 seconds and it's gone. It can be scary sometimes but it's an experience I would recommend to anyone that isn't weak minded to try atleast once in their life. But don't at 80...maybe 30-40. But I prefer DMT though.
@@AceK21 It's a memorable experience that adventurous people should try once in their life. Make sure you have a trip sitter (ie, take turns-- the dream state is so short it's not like you have to wait very long for your turn). I smoked it once, and I came to from my 30 second dream state saying two words: ladybug hamburger. I remember the vision/experience, but I can't explain it beyond ladybug hamburger.
I was slipped salvia instead of weed by a close friend and it wasn’t anything happy for positive. I can feel the warm ness in that room she is a true healer.

i feel like this isn't true, you need to really burn salvia into ash at high temperatures and hold it in for 15-30 seconds, not just that but salvia also has a different consistency, color, and smell than weed does

I nearly did this. I flew to Mexico to go to Huedli de Jeminez in Oaxaca and made it to Cuernavaca where I did a peyote ceremony instead. I managed to get a contact phone number for someone who could perform a salvia ceremony there but when I got to Oaxaca city didn't want to double back on myself... one day I'll make it back there for this and if I don't, it doesn't matter anyway as I feel I got my answers. Love this! ❤️

1:43 I too experience the rocking/swaying urge when taking oral Salvia. It feels very comforting and nurturing. Very different to the smoked extracts (of course). This is a sacred plant and it has changed my life for the better. It's a shame to see the attitude it is often approached with. I'm not someone who believes the dried leaves shouldn't be smoked just because supposedly the mazatec people say its wrong/don't do it. They had / have their way, and it's arguable the best way to receive healing from the plant, but there are also different lessons/healing to be experienced when smoking the dried leaf and even extracts. One must approach this plant (as a spirit) with incredible respect. If you don't understand why one should do that, and you approach it without respect, then you will quickly learn. In my perfect world, this plant would be at the center of a major church religion and we could all grow closer through the experience. I'm afraid that will not happen, but at least I am very grateful to have found this sacred plant teacher when I did. It has become the source of my own personal spirituality in its own way. The beauty of existence is never ending and always changing.
I've had similar thoughts regarding a "mushroom" church. Now, more than ever, I believe this form of religious practice would be extremely beneficial. I feel more disconnected from my fellow man more than ever because of the society I live in.

Thats all it is with hallucinogenic substances. You have to prepare for them. You can’t just wake up one day and be in the mood for some acid. Not saying that’s what you did but you have to plan the trip in terms of setting, friends, things to do while tripping, etc. Some people aren’t like that but the majority of us are.

Psychedelic's definitely have potential to deal with mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression, they really helped me.
Psychedelics helped me a lot, they are the reason why i didn't take my life when I was at my end. I was stripped of my ego and saw the beauty of life and interconnectivity and even though i still battle anxiety and depression, l'm doing better everyday and will never think in such a self destructive way again.
I would like to try them again but it's just so hard to source here.

I smoked Salvia 10x extract twice and this is a description of the first experience: I started pouring sweat as soon as I exhaled the first and only hit, which was quite large, so i walked over to the window and almost pulled the blinds off the wall. I then felt a presence above me, one man and one woman, that didn't even know I existed; I was basically an unneeded member of the dimension/reality/ in which they existed, I was basically clutter. Then my parents were there holding hands and I realized they had created me, my clothes, my voice, everything but my thoughts with their interlocking fingers. I kept asking the question 'how do you do my voice?' until I realized my voice sounded like their hands. It all made sense. If they stopped holding hands I would cease to exist. Halfway through writing this report my second experience with Salvia had ended.

I smoked salvia once, tripped intensely for about 5 minutes, saw my leg turn into a bus station with little buses coming and going. Also felt like my body was turning into a set of stairs moving away. I tried to speak to my friends to tell them what I was experiencing, but could only laugh.

Very similar experience I had sitting in a wooden chair looking from left to right objects began spelling my name and the last letter was an l and so did I "become" the leg of the chair respresenting l
lol every time I have done it the room falls around me and im suspended on a small platform the only difference is the color of light around me. Depending on the color I feel hot, cold, warm etc. its a weird feeling
I messed around with salvia years ago. Had a little fun with some fun experiences. Think I had x5 then it ran out, went to get more and all they had left was x45 if I remember right. I had been smoking quite a bit and figured x5 to x45 cant really be that big of a difference so i loaded up like I had before. I took a hit and it was at that moment I knew I had fucked up. that hit grabbed me by the balls, hit me in the head with a bat and laughed in my face while showing me I still needed my training wheels on. Crazy trip freaked me out enough I've just stayed off that ride all together.

Before I knew who/what she was I smoked some sitting down indian style and it felt like two arms were on my backlowering me to the ground safely. I remember thinking it was a woman, I could feel her presence. When I found out other people feel her too and have a name for her I shit myself. Like, wow theres something to this.
I can only assume sublingual absorbtion and digestion deliver a vastly different experience than smoking it lol.
Especially if it was an extract being smoked
its mostly just less intense and gradual, lasting for hours instead of minutes.

@@koffinkat666 hey what kind of environment did you smoke it in? my friend tried some 5x and freaked out cause he smoked to much, i convinced him to try it again with me there and i gave him the proper amount to smoke, he started to freak out again but i was able to calm him down cause i am experienced with salvia and we are good close friends, you cant do it with strangers or people you wouldnt trust to be in your home without you there. you should be in a comfortable chill environment with non-aggressive music going, not having people laughing or screaming at you cause that will throw you into a bad trip, remember psychadellics and hallucinogens are products to respect not to fuck around with.
@@koffinkat666 i've personally never had a bad experience but part of that was not going out of my limits, i made sure i had a trip sitter and i did the weakest amoutn i could and in as small doses i couldto know how itd feel before i really got tripping. but i never smoked an excess amount.

Worst trip I ever had was on Salvia 80x. I had tried weaker Salvia multiple times but it was my first time trying 80x. Smoked way to much with a good buddy of mine and it was like I was in a nightmare. He was the devil sent to take

I smoked some I got from a head shop. Two of the craziest people I knew said they tried it and it was terrifying, and that only made me want to try it more. It was so intense and real. I went to another dimension and was watching this world from the other side. Powerful beyond words.

Wow I've never seen someone eat Salvia before it's always just been smoked dried where I'm from. That pulling sensation he talks about I remember it being very very uncomfortable when smoking. Like being pulled through the floor. I wonder if eating allows you to enjoy that intensity and the bright visuals it has.

I personally found salvia to be very euphoric. I absolutely love the stuff. The whole gravity effect he referred to...the sensation of being pulled back into his chair...is a common experience with this herb. I was never able to speak while under the influence though. Then again, all of my trip sessions were with 60x extract inside a cigarette. I highly doubt it, but I wonder if the tobacco and salvia have any sort of synergistic effect when smoked together. Hmmm...

I use a personal blend of salvia divinorum, which I smoke on a cigarette too: Dried salvia leaves (not extract), cannabis, tobacco and blue lotus, sprinkled with a 50x pink lotus extract. Most of the mix is salvia,, then tobacco, and finally cannabis and lotus in smaller quantities. The effects are interesting, although an hour after smoking it causes me a very unpleasant physical discomfort, such as muscle tension and general fatigue. When you are under the effects, you feel a strong general sedation (softened by the lotus, therefore pleasant, although deepened by the work of salvia), and the imaginative potency of cannabis is also undoubtedly amplified by the salvia: the emotions seem to be eclipsed, and suddenly they can ascend without warning in a tragic euphoria ... the images in your head can overwhelm you or seem too vivid, and at the peak the spatial and temporal distortion is very noticeable (illusions of loss of gravity, slowing down of time, etc.). In general, the effects are strongly narcotic, and force you into meditation. What is clear is that there are very interesting synergistic qualities between these plants that wise nature offers us

RKFCGSBGK the environment in which you take psychedelics is what determines the trip. Hamilton was safe, warm and secure and he had a woman who had probably performed this ritual hundreds if not thousands of times and so she has seen all sides of the experience including her own, and knows how to deal with the trip in whatever direction it may flow. That is the important takeaway message here. Also, we are very spiritual beings and this sort of setup is nothing new and a spiritual environment like this one whether you believe it to be advantageous or not can produce amazing effects. These practices are sacred and very unique and have been devised to reach certain levels of spiritual awareness and bliss. Just like when you are around certain people, your mood changes. Just like when you listen to certain music, eat certain foods and do certain things - our minds and bodies are sensitive to these variables and with the right care and attention, these variables can guide us through our experiences in a positive and transformative way. And that is what you see in the video. Of course, if tripping in front of the TV watching the news at home with helicopters hovering outside and police sirens going off is your sort of experience then fine, no one is telling you HOW to trip. You are forgetting that woman is the equivalent of a modern doctor. The first time was really dysphoric and crazy, but now after two years, taking the ticket back to Sallyland was the best decision I've made in a while. I’ve only ever had bad trips on Salvia, like 10 times. Every other psychedelic I’ve done (most of the well known psychs except 5meo) treated me far more gently than salvia. Haven’t done it since I was 15 or so, I was way too young and didn’t even really understand what it was at the time.
