2019 Audi A6 TDI Timing Belt Change Step By Step

Hey Guys welcome back to my channel to I have this 2019 Audi A6 TDI & we are going to replace the timing belt step by step. Hope you guys find this video helpful.

On this particular job should be replace the belt for the oil pump , or this audi model hasn't a belt for oil pomp .

The timing belt is not linked to the oil pump on these models.

@@MotorModz I understand that and thx for your reply , wat I wanted to ask that the oil pump is it driven by a belt (like passat b8 ) or a chain ? thank u !

@@FlorinFrent VAG cars are all the same, if I remember correctly it’s belt driven. :)

Camshaft pulley and HPP pulley should be loosened before tensionsing

Not on the NEW models! But on the older models you have to because that’s the only way you can get the belt on. :)

@@MotorModz oh really? Thanks for info. I havent done the new model yet but gonna be doing one soon. But if I loose them won't that be a problem?

@@dawidj6202 Tbh there is no need, just lock them with the timing tool mark them and replace what’s required and put the belt on.
