I think the BBC and ITV should make world history and twin the towns in their soaps so that the viewers can enjoy many more moments like this! I understand this was written by Darren Little a Corrie legend. Brilliant script and well acted! I hope Children In Need gained a great deal from this performance. Happy Birthday Corrie!

I always wondered why the soaps never do many crossovers, i now understand why, for example if EastEnders did a crossover with Hollyoaks, people would mistake Kathy Beale for Sandy Roscoe and people would mistake Warren Fox for Jake Stone
And people would've mistaken Jerry Morton from Corrie for Sinbad the window cleaner from Brookside!!
Simple, just don’t include them in the same scene.

That's so cool. I wish some of the US Soaps did something like this. For Example on Guiding Light and As The World Turns. Olivia and Natalia who are a Couple could go to Oakdale and hang out with Noah & Luke who are another Couple. Kim Hughes could go to Springfield to advise Vanessa how to run WSPR. Dr. Bob Hughes could talk to Rick Bauer about how to do an Operation in which someone actually lives. Mel Boudreau Bauer could talk to Tom Hughes about how challenging it is to be a Lawyer when there are hardly any cases to work on and James Spaulding & Leah Bauer go to A Hip Hop Club in Chicago.

I am referring to Characters on US Soaps. They were both owned by Proctor & Gamble that are no longer on the Air. Back in the day, it was a Common Practice for Actors and Actresses to go from one show to another. They were sometimes called "Jumpers".
