I love how Tennant draws the line at that quote.
Kemonokami Totally! I love how David looked like he was going to bust up laughing at any minuet, but Cathrine was totally straight-faced the whole time.
Emma the FANGIRL when she made fun of his Scots accent...he was not expecting that! hahahaha so funny
There's always that one person in the class
+Alana Gorman Yep and their name is Catherine Tate.
+alicorn analysis and i love her
+Alana Gorman Like really deeply?
yep
+inyazserg Sergey Larin I think she's a great actress
I could see David Tennant being a teacher
He plays the teacher in nativity 2
Red Jaxs he'd be the best teacher ever!
I'm pretty sure he used to be one
I'm sure there's lots he could teach me 😏
Like in Nativity
I have it watched this sketch many times and it never gets boring, pure comedy genius, and extremely clever
Is anyone going to question Catherine/Lauren yelled 'BITE ME ALIEN BOY'
why
😐.......
😖🔫 *Some one kill me*
I LOVE THE SMILE WHEN HE SAYS:
A Rose by any other name wouldn't smell as sweet. 😱😍
My heart was wrenched at that moment
What does it mean?
It's A Rose by any other name would smell as sweet
It's a line from Shakespeare. Billie Piper played Rose Tyler, the first companion of the new series (that's her figure on the desk at the end.).
>>i still ain't bovvered
When David got the Sonic Screwdriver out. I'm surprised he didn't assemble a wardrobe at her.

YES
Oh- I see what you did there
Well, it doesn’t do wood.
I unsterstood that reference
15yrs ago, when I first watched this, and she asked if his house was bigger on the inside, I screamed so loud I didn’t hear the next few lines! 😁 It’s written and delivered so brilliantly. I love 10 & Donna so much.
The greatest Doctor and one of the greatest companions. You are missed.
I agree about the best doctor, but Rose was the best companion. I cried when Doomsday was shown. But the Girl in the fireplace was sublime.
arguably the second greatest Doctor! no one holds candle to the Immortal Tom Baker!!! the one and only Greatest Doctor ever!
Tenth Doctor Best Doctor
@@ckvonpickles3751
I still have yet to actually watch classic DW but... Would you like a jelly baby?😁
*The* greatest companion ☺
I laughed way too hard when he said doctor who and when he pulled out the sonic screwdriver
FRANK.
+Amy Whatsername HELLO
Im Trash oh look frank Lero
But I hated the sound
Catherine Tate got it SO right, there are awful girls like that in real life. She has all the mannerisms and everything just so.
No idea how you'd deal with this one.
As the Dialek would say.....EXTERMINATE!
And this was 13 years ago
@@wherethetreegrows It's based on a sketch from The Catherine Tate Show.
@@chriscunningham8807 Duct tape works pretty well.
It's 2022 and I came back to this masterpiece on a whim. So good
"D'you fancy Billie Piper sir?"
*collapses laughing*
Douglas Howe just the doctor’s daughter lol
2:58 for those looking for it
He didn't say no....
Yeah who doesn't
I mean, to be fair...who wouldn't?
Lauren:Are you the Doctor?
Me:Are you Donna?
Yes
You know. She wouldn't know if he's the Doctor. Because she wouldn't remember.
Voice outside door: Are you my mummy?
lol
HattyxKillerz Cyberman outside the classroom: THE DOCTOR?!! DELETE!!!
11-year-old sketch still fresh and good gawd I love Catherine Tate
I watched this for the first time a few years ago as a non English speaking person. Let me tell you I didn't understand any of it. Finally I can laugh because I understand this masterpiece 😂
Haha, I am Canadian and I've been speaking English my entire life, but I have to use closed captions because of the accents and how quickly they speak and I still miss things because of the British sayings I love every minute
did you fancy Billie piper, sir?
he's definitely getting pissed on this one...
I cried
I died
I died
That was funny. It sorta went meta, with the mix of the characters being characters and him being the Doctor. Lol. But I love it.
I lost it :')
"I don't think you're an English teacher I think you're a 945 year old time lord" dead 😂😂😂😂😂😂
love your username
"Did you just pitch up from Mars?"
Rule 1: the doctor always lies even about his age
@@jacobriggan9430 well considering he can travel thru time, chronology gets iffy
@@CorvusCorone68 canonically he also started counting from Zero again sometime during when he was Sylvester McCoy so it could argued that he's so old that he doesn't even know how old he is by Tennant's time.
I am using this in a Shakespeare lecture about banter tomorrow. So many of the students are Whovians, I can't wait.
+Hayley Rodgers Shakespeare lecture about banter XD wtf
Lucy Jones
It is a Shakespeare class that discusses aspects of his plays that the students (age 12-18) may not be really familiar with.
+Hayley Rodgers Remember that 57 academicians punched the air
+Hayley Rodgers how did it go?
Project Milzock
Really well, the kids picked up on the banter right away and everyone was laughing so hard. No one of them (even my fellow teacher) had seen it!
**Beginning of clip**
Catherine Tate: Are you the Doctor
**end of clip**
David Tennant: **pulls out sonic screwdriver**
Istg I died when David pulled that out 🤣
Little Madam! 😂 (Even his insults sound polite.)
Dai Duh he's being sarcastic
squidgi I was being sarcastic
Dai Duh this is the thing about sarcasm. it's hard to detect in writing. I wasn't being critical 😊
squidgi lol! 😂 I sort of figured, but I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not. 😅
Mia Borel What?! 😂😅
I have never wanted to marry a woman more than after Catherine busted out the Shakespeare like a boss!
She’s actually well into Shakespeare irl.
She was in a Shakespeare play that’s why
They were both in a Shakespeare play together- ‘All ado about nothing’
Omg pissing myself laughing when Catherine goes full Shakespeare on him. Bloody brilliant.
No idea how anyone kept a straight face during this!!!
LOL! I can barely breathe from how hilarious this is. I love British Comedy!
ohaider, petey ol' pa-

*Peter breaks away from the kiss and looks at **Deadpool**.* Deadpool! How many times do I have to tell you? Don't interrupt when a spider is getting horny.
Peter Parker uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........................ zero times?
Damn it! Last time I'm using my penis to text people.
Peter Parker uhh..... okey.....
Putting these two in a room is a recipe for hilarity! They are so in sync that laughter is sure to ensue! I could watch them all the time and never be "bovered"!! Love it! Love them!
i would sell a kidney to hear their recording outtakes from the duck tales reboot!
I always love when Catherine and David are together always makes me laugh.
Yes, agree.
Both brilliant
I have lost count how many times I seen this . Makes me laugh. David and Catherine are brilliant together. Make a good double act
I've watched this time and time again, and I've reached the conclusion that I want a Tate & Tennant sketch show. What a marvelous comedy duo!
like Stephen Fry and Hugh Lauren?
"I think you're a 945 year old time lord from the planet gallifrey."
"And yet you make me feel older."
I feel like david tennant wasn't even acting at 3:14 I feel like that was his genuine reaction lol
It's called good acting.
He did meet Shakespeare, so he's qualified
samantha daoud I love it when David roll his r when extremely
For a _few_ times, yes. They just met again earlier in 2019.
YESS
He is so incredibly talented. Amazing actor.
2:57 "You fancy Billie piper sir?" and he loses it hahahahhahahahah
Nah it's Jessica now.

I can't count how many times I've watched this, and I can't stop laughing every time. Also, I love that if you look closely, you can see them trying not to laugh 😂
If you notice, he responded to all of her questions except when she asked if he fancied Billie piper
Omg I'm fangirling due to that sentence.
I love your icon❤️❤️
Fangirled so hard at that question! I seriously squealed in delight!!!!!!
